I was only actually in the hotel for 5 hours, 4 hours sleeping and 1 hour getting ready.
Booked a room with two queens and didn't have any at check in time. Made us wait 2 hours to clean a double queen room
Friendly staff Great location
dated room far too expensive for accommodations provided Charging for parking when also charging nearly $300 for one night is ridiculous Horrible in room coffee. They can't afford a decent free cup??? Come on.
Location near Austin Rowing Club
Room wasn't as nicely appointed as the average HIExpress. No frig/microwave and not much room for the price +$100 extra on New Years Eve wasn't covered in the Internet Quote Booking.com gave us.
The staff is fantastic. The hotel is in a superb location.
The sleep number bed was not functioning uneven and uncomfortable. In the a.m. when I reported it I was treated like a suspect. The couch fold out was unbearable. They brought a rollout which was tiny and much too short. 275.00 a night was not well spent. The bed had a 3' long black hair when I pulled back the blanket to lay down. Getting in and out of the parking garage is a new adventure each time. This hotel needs updating SEVERELY. They did however give me credit for 1 of my 2 nights stay. In hindsight I'd have rather paid the price in full for a quality stay.
Clean room, sleep number beds were nice.
No mini bar in room. Hotel bar closed very early but it was Thanksgiving...
Location is excellent. Pool and restaurant (which have been redone) are very nice.
Exercise room is cramped and needs more/better equipment. Halls and rooms are sorely in need of refresh. Looked like The Shining. Sleep number bed was comfortable.
that is was central to Festival ACL and 6th Street
We payed for 4 twin rooms, which of that we got 1 of and the rest were single rooms with a pull out bed. No breakfast included. Very poor value for money
The elevators were next to our room, and it kept me awake at night. There was only one person waiting on a full swimming pool of folks to get drinks.
Excellent location Friendly staff Starbucks Lake view good for bats Clean Common areas Convenient parking
Sleep Number bed No mini bar A tad overpriced
1) Price 2) Old facilities/furniture 3) Very small pool
I love the lake side view The bed was super comfortable
The bathroom was super dated. Where the water flows for the shower was really loose on the wall. If u pull the lever too hard for the shower to come on, it would have come off the wall. U can see where the wall had been recaulked. Need a list of more entertainment/places to eat closer to hotel. Didn't see one. Hotel needs to recognize or honor texas educators for a discount like the other surrounding hotels.
Great pool and location. Front desk staff was helpful and the Starbucks in the lobby is very handy!
We booked a room with 2 double beds from booking.com however upon check in there were none available and we were told there were no guarantees because it was a third party site. We ended up with a king and a pull out sofa that was surprisingly comfortable. The house keeping staff was nice a quickly brought up extra pillows and blankets.
The location was awesome!
The room was not as clean as I expected, the coffee pot was dirty otherwise everything was ok
The room was so gross. It smelled. The shower was sceevy. I wanted to leave and go to another hotel immediately. Do NOt stay here!
your restaurant was lovely.
the room was not what was ordered through Bookings.com, it was supposed to have two beds, no rooms were available and we settled on a room with a king bed ands sofa bed. when the sofa bed was opened to go to bed we found it had a dirty sheet and towel left on it from a previous guest. Housekeeping came by and made the bed. A sofa bed is not the same comfort level as a regular bed, it was disappointing.
Very nice downtown location. Very convenient to SoCo and 6th St.
Parking garage is not clearly marked that levels above first level are very tight for over sized cars. Our enjoyment of the hotel was compromised by the location of our street side room - it was the weekend of a motorcycle convention and very loud until 2am.....followed by a loud after hours gathering in the hallway outside of our hotel door.
nice staff and helpful with directions
the room was dreadful. small Holiday Inn style with mini closet and tiny bath. Price of $300 was an outrage. This room would be OK in a second rate highway motel.
Service is tip notch!
Great location and staff. So easy to get to places.
Rooms were up to date, but small. Bathrooms were really small
a bit pricey
Too much noise in the hallway fighting between intoxicated young men Security did respond quickly

The hotel gave away my lakeside view that was requested and reserved about 6 weeks in advance. Aside from the principal of the thing, it was a big deal to me because I brought along a friend from Australia who had never been to Austin and I was excited for her to have a room on Lady Bird Lake. Other friends of ours that also stayed at the hotel had reserved a lakeside room and did not get it as well. The hotel compensated by giving us free parking, free breakfast, and some drink tickets, but it was a disappointment.
