Their is nothing to like. I was overcharged, I paid for a king and received a twin double. The heater stopped working, we had to deal with a repair man in our room for three hours. He did not fix the issue, and we had no heat or ac for the night, the staff was rude, did not fix the issue or even refund my overcharge. This was a bad experience

The location was great. Questionable about being clean.Old carpets.Found one baby spider as i turned down the sheets on one bed.. The other bed was okay. I had a booked a double bed non smoking room. The room next door had no locks on it and i was told being remolded. Looking thru the window it was totally destroyed and dirty.

The maintance man was courtious. Other than that it was not good. The first room they tried to put me in the heat didn't work, the room was very loud (told it was a broken pump in bathroom) then we were moved to rm 1309 which the key card did not work to open the door our 2 night stay.i was told it would be fixed in the morning I let the desk know we would be gone so they could do this. Came back that evening, after trying for 40 mins to get in,went to office where i"m told to go to the radissen(next door) to get a key, which I did,and it also didn"t work. Once again going to front desk to get some one to let us in.this was very incovenent and stressful. Everytime we left the room we had to wait for matinance to let us back in."to compensate for our trouble" the night manager(12/28) gave my granddaughter a sample lotion that are put in the rooms and said "this is for your incovinence" when she went to the lobby for the third time that night to let him know the key he gave us and the radissen key didn"t work & to sent someone to let us again. I felt that was a insult.i visit orlando at least 1 weekend a month and stay in motels just to get away and have never been treated this way. It was not a nice stay at all. I visit orlando atleast once a month to get away.and have never had such a bad stay. Please see the above statement for details. This motel should never be called a resort in any way.

Just completed a 2 night stay at this property.i only choose this hotel due to price and location which was good.however, this place is getting run down and I spent most of my time at this place's sister property the radisson which is next door.the radisson is where all the eaterie's are located and gift shops.it was simply a better place to hang out although both hotels shared the same pool complex.half the elevators and ice machines were broken down at the metropolitan resort as well as the jacuzzi which tells me that this place and mgmt could care less.my saveing grace as far as me staying at this place was the fact that when I booked this hotel at booking.com I somehow got a rate of 20.00 bucks a night which made up for all the problems.

The reception staff were extremly rude and in no way dealt with a problem we had in a professional manner. On arrival there was a problem with my credit card, but it wa Sunday night and we couldnt do anything about it. The hotel accepted this and let the group in the rooms. I have stayed at this hotel for 5 years now without problem before. I transfered the funds to another card and gave the gm a copy of the transfer. Due to the time differance the funds didnt go into the account that day, and on return from a long day out, we found ourselves locked out of the rooms at 1am. After waiting for the banks to open, the money went through stright away. During this time and the following day, the front office manager Bill was so rude he was unbeleivable. Having stayed there with a group for the past 5 years, there is no way we will go back again.

It was in a good location for the purpose of my trip. The towels were hard and not in good use. The towels did not appear to look clean as they had a off white look. The current towels need to be replaced with softer and whiter towels! Secondly, the elevators nearest my room were inoperable during the morning of check out. Additionally, when reservations were made, there was no mention of a $7.00 Service fee per night.

The Orlando Metropolitan is set in a quiet corner just off the main strip of I-Drive half a block from Point Orlando plaza. It is very conveniently located. The pool and hot tub are shared with the Radisson which owns the Met. There is usually no one out there but it is very nice and hot tub is excellent. During day and evening the pool bar is open which has indoor seating with tv. Nearly everytime we visit.Orlando we stay there and book cheaper online. The rooms are spacious. I would recommend the double queen bed rooms.over the single.king. They are cheaper.by $10 and look nicer although they are renovating rooms currently. This is a good place for a one night stay. Not for romance or a family vaca. We paid a lil more for a king deluxe room which the pic they show.is of one of the very few newly renovated rooms. We usually get the queen double bed room. The extra we paid was.not justified as the queen bed rooms are nicer with separate marble vanity and marble counters in bathroom as well. The deluxe king room had an old wood green vanity with tiny sink that u couldn't get your fingers behind the knobs to turn. The bed was hard as a board and the lil blanket under the comforter was so old it had holes worn in it. We were told this wad a renovated room and was the second one we were moved to. The deluxe is not deluxe at all. My only other disappointment was the continental breakfast that is in the Radsison next door and is $4per person per night plus its only 7-9 am. Unless ur there to park hop who wakes up that early on vaca? It was nice located in their restaurant. It had.muffins, toast and cut fruit, but do t expect to grab a few things and a cup of Joe to go. The continental is sit down and they bring u your coffee and try to entice u with the hot items on the buffet which are an additional $4. Just go to the Ponderosa next door for $3.99 and have a huge selection. Oh and everytime we go the elevator on the end is always broken.
