Score from 1230 reviews Very good
We had two fantastic, spacious rooms between us, both with great views (ours towards the pier and our friends over the swimming pool). The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the bathrooms fabulous - I particuarly loved the shower! The staff were so welcoming and friendly - it was as if we were old friends - and that made such a difference. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is a landmark and stands tall and proud - it is walking distance to Millennium Park and so many other sights. It is a fabulous base and I would not hesitate to recommend it on and would love to make a new booking for myself!
We found nothing to dislike!
First class gym Staff were attentive and efficient
Lack of dining options in the hotel
The staff were very efficient especially Jeremy in the business lounge. Overall we had a great time & would def stay there again when in Chicago
The loose tiles in the shower, although not dangerous they were annoying
The decor was lovely. Ultra modern, interesting light play from the floor onto door surfaces. We were able to check in early. Our room overlooked the park. I loved Chicago it was my favourite US city.
The computerized minibar/fridge couldn't put a bottle of wine in the fridge to keep cool. I know we could hire a fridge at additional cost. Seems somehow mean especially if you don't care to consume their provided items. A good host wouldn't treat a guest that way. I had requested a room on a higher floor we were quite low maybe 3rd floor. I don't make requests to be demanding, just to enhance the experience while I am there. Maybe the hotel was busy??
- lighting in the room were insufficient and badly organised
We loved the modern, clean decor. I loved the wood floors. I get grossed out walking on carpet in hotel rooms. The view , location wonderful. The beds and linens excellent. We will defiantly stay there again.
I wish they offered a breakfast or complimentary coffee.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect for our stay. Would definitely give it another try
Our room wasn't very clean. I almost asked for another, but we were only there for 2 nights so I sucked it up. Our wake up call came an hour too early.
They really read your spacial request and do there best to meet them, It´s walking distant from almost all points of interest
I liked almost everything
I think that they should update there pool area. hot tub and all because its very much so out dated.
The views from our balcony and the overall hotel was great.
That we couldn't stay longer.
Good location, easy to get around to most things. Nice eggs Benny for breakfast
The hotel is near enough to the main sights but far enough away for there to be no noise etc . The hotel is beautiful and you feel quite proud that you are staying there when the hotel is mentioned on the hop on , hop off tourist bus due to the architecture .
The bed was amazing. Nice city views.
Parking was expensive. Wifi did not work properly. Would have preferred a higher floor.
It was a nice hotel, people were very nice and helpful.
Room was not cleaned very well, Booking.com did not give a good description of the room. They said the room level was at 412ft. Come to find out the hotel is no where near that tall. Not very happy with that.
Great hotel. Great staff.
Bed was to soft. Not good if you have a bad back like I do.
You really can't use GPS to find this hotel in a rental car if you don't know Chicago. Very frustrating. Should include driving instructions online and with Rez confirm.
Nice rooms. Restaurant was good. Room service was great. Cool yummy drinks. Great hotel if you like trendy. I liked the bathrooms. Bed was comfy.
Would have liked to be able to access the balcony. It was too trendy for our taste, but that's personal preference. The hotel was great. chairs in restaurant were uncomfortable and screechy.
location in Chicago
the empty beer bottle left on the balcony.
Quality of products at breakfast
Variety of breakfast buffet limited.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the room was spectacular.
Perfect in every way!
It was all great!
Fitness Area Helpful and friendly staff Business area. Room size Location
Very pretty place; clean; convenient; free WIFI; great big gym; pool; rooftop running track; great modern shower; very comfy bed.
Check Staff really helpful Loved the hotel pool and gym
Business lounge - food and beverage selection was poor, the evening food was dry and had been out for some time.
