Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Wharf    

Location cannot be beaten, for access to Fisherman's Wharf (one entrance is right on the wharf), with the tram stop right across from this entrance, car hire a few metres down the road, and the cable car a block away. Staff were helpful, and very reasonable when I needed assistance with arranging a pre-paid reservation. The hotel is clean. Beds are impressively comfortable and the firmness is adjustable, a first for me!.

A question I asked at the time of booking, a number of weeks prior to actual arrival, went unanswered/ignored.

The coffee in the rooms is awful and the coffee available in the lobby was worse. With all the effort and cost you put into making your hotel so amazing, spending a little more and offering GREAT coffee would go a long way!

Fabulous location, staff really friendly. Great having pool for the kids. Our room had an amazing view of bay and Alcatraz!!

Room size very small for 4 people, bathroom tiny and the fan can't keep up with the steam and set the smoke alarm off twice!! Would have been great to have a refrigerator to hold milk and kids yoghurts etc.

The close location to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was always willing to help with any questions we had.

That breakfast was not included in the price of our room. The breakfast area was really small and it was too cold to sit in the courtyard.

This is a god hotel if you want one that within walking distance of the existing cruise terminal at pier 35 & it still within walkable distance to the new one that opens in 2014. It also very close to everything Fisherman Wharf has to offer.

The WiFi speed was terrible.

Excellent location and comfortable room

Being given a room which had not been cleaned, in fact was still occupied! Although we were reassigned fairly promptly it was not a good start after the long journey from England, and the staff didn't seem too concerned about the impression this gave.

Ask for quiet room got noisiest room in hotel, facying main road. 2 am hotels putting bins out,6 am bins get collected and bus stop right outside window and its busy. So never again and I ask for quiet room .?,!!!! I ask to change room but told hotel full.

Location is perfect..near access to Fishermans Wharf...great restaurants staff are great.

Bedding really needs to be looked into...I believe it is a number system bed. The beds were terrible no support and the pillows were very soft...

Traveled w/ kids ages 9, 10. Hotel staff were all very nice- helpful and pleasant. Concierge got us $ off some attractions. Hotel location was great for Fisherman's Wharf area. Easy to get to Alcatraz, easy to rent bikes and ride across Golden Gate Bridge (!), convenient to all thing touristy. Exact area where hotel is is a bit honky tonk but not seedy. Walked the whole city to see things up close. Hotel has an outdoor heated pool our kids enjoyed the one day we had a little siesta before heading out to be tourists again.

Hotel was a bit run down- looked like they'd slapped a fresh coat of paint on it so at a distance it looked ok- however we spent so little time there it didn't matter. You pay for the location. If you want to ride a trolly do it on a weekday, best in early AM, to avoid the 2 hour wait. We never did get on. Price was kind of high given that breakfast was not included. We prob spent at least $40/ 50 a day at the IHOP which is right next door and fast. I prob could have gotten a better deal if I'd been less impulsive.

- The location was really good - Staff on the front desk were friendly - The being able to change the firmness of the mattresses

- Our room smelt of chlorine, as did the bed sheets and towels. It might be worth investing in different coloured towels for the pool. - The lighting in the room was appalling. In addition, the bedside light stopped working. - The cover on the air-conditioning unit fell off during our stay. - The light-switches in the bedrooms also diminished and reduced the overall feel of the room. - There was a problem with the booking when we arrived and so we had to wait for 15 minutes while the problem was rectified. - I expected more from the Radisson brand.
