This hotel is still undergoing a major remodel, and has a number of inconveniences to its visitors- contrary to how it is depicted on this and other websites under the names “Radisson Hotel Fisherman's Warf" and "Hotel Zephyr Fisherman's Warf." There was no completed lobby, no restaurant, and very limited access to the small front desk area available to guests. Despite attempts by staff to place us in handicap accessible accommodations, we had to navigate long and winding hallways to get to an available elevator (enroute to the first floor), which then led us into a major construction staging area (filled with lumber, paint cans, and rubbish). In one instance, we had to hunt for someone to allow us access to that same elevator to get back to our third floor room, or attempt to climb a very steep and long ramp up to our room. Finally, our room was disappointing, with drawers that did not work, with inadequate closet space for our travel clothing, and a bathroom that appeared unfinished (as well as did not depict what was pictured for the hotel). This, surprisingly, was our first bad experience through booking.com after other very good experiences.
The staff worked very hard to accommodate the inconvenience of the ongoing major remodel of this hotel, and to assist visitors with their needs. Hotel managers were very apologetic for the extra precautions, as well as extra trips, all visitors had to make to get to the limited lobby area from their rooms on the other end of the hotel. Their available “house car” service (FuFu Travels & Town Cars, operated by Estifanos Gerbereselassie) offered great service to see sights nearby. The location is nearby the Warf.
