Good location. Close to main attractions

Rooms and outside hall were not clean - old carpet; broken window; small
bathroom. For this price you expect much more!

Good location; comfortable beds and room; pleasant, helpful and efficient staff, (the bell captain managed to spot that my friend had left her camera in the taxi before it took off and our chambermaid was a sweetheart); decent sized TV; all in all a pleasant base during our trip.

The prices of the snacks in the mini bar were pretty steep but, actually, that's the sum total of what I have to gripe about. Many of the reviews I read prior to my stay were quite off-putting, moaning that the rooms were cramped; the traffic was noisy, and all sorts. In retrospect and based on my own experience I actually wonder if they were even staying in the same hotel!

We were upgraded to a suite, it was a very pleasant surprise!

Although I booked a standard room and requested 2 beds, My stay was in a petite room with just one double bed. When queried at the front desk, I was advised that the reservation made by bookings.com was in fact for a petite room, so was not possible to have twin beds!

Great Sushi Bar in lobby (wish they had room delivery, though), convenient location, very helpful concierge, business center accessible at all hours via room key, very comfy bed, quiet (could hardly hear any street noise), housekeeping was very good about coming back to clean my room later in the afternoon even though I'd had the "do not disturb" sign up when they were doing my floor.

1) Mini Bar is wired so it can tell when you move things out of it; thus can't store your own beverages in there or you get charged for taking them out! 2) I thought Internet on TV was cool when I first discovered it, but it was so incredibly slow and low-resolution as to be a waste of time, even for simply reading email.

STAFF... My air conditioning was not working. I called their "engineering" dept and they couldn't fix the problem.Whenever I complained about the problem to the manager, she said I didn't know how to operate the AC and everything was working properly. This is not how you treat a guest ..We had to work out a discount on my hotel rate for the nights I stayed there.
