We liked the comfort of our superior room, the location of the hotel, the lovely breakfasts in Raffles and the whole ambience of the hotel and friendliness of the staff from the bellboy through to the cleaning staff for room 404. A great stay. |

Good location; comfortable beds and room; pleasant, helpful and efficient staff, (the bell captain managed to spot that my friend had left her camera in the taxi before it took off and our chambermaid was a sweetheart); decent sized TV; all in all a pleasant base during our trip. The prices of the snacks in the mini bar were pretty steep but, actually, that's the sum total of what I have to gripe about. Many of the reviews I read prior to my stay were quite off-putting, moaning that the rooms were cramped; the traffic was noisy, and all sorts. In retrospect and based on my own experience I actually wonder if they were even staying in the same hotel! |

It had a large flatscreen tv. Had a corner room that was large. Staff was very friendly. Good location. It had a lot of negative reviews, but I think that if you had a bad experience, you are more likley to write a review Bathroom needs an update |

Booked for a room with King or Quen bed - & paif for it.......then allocated room with normail 4ft 6ins double bed. Queried hotel but they were adamant that this was a queen size room ........breakfast was poor too........only ate it because we had paid for it |
