The hotel is conveniently located for anyone flying in to Los Angeles. The free airport shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Free use of computer to print boarding passes. Great beds and very clean. Great value.
Because it's L.A., it takes a while to get anywhere. Could be a problem if you need to back and forth a lot to your room. Strongly recommend GPS.
Free wifi and the room service was actually pretty good quality.
Most of the lining on our bathtub had come off.
Shower did not work.
Convience to Airport Shuttle Service
Very noisey late into the night Shuttle did not run as often as we were told and was late
It was a great price and location!
This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation! The rooms were old and tatty. We were only doing an overnight stay on our way elsewhere! We are so pleased that we hadn't booked for a long stay! I have stayed at a lot of Hyatts very disappointed!
friendly and helpful staff comfy bed
the bathroom seems a bit small
Travelled from London to lax, stayed a night at Hilton la, then went to Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel for 7 nights. On the way back to London we stopped at this hotel for a night. We've checked in and then went in our rooms to freshen up before heading to the restaurant for some food and drinks. In the room we had only body lotion cream rather than shower gel and shampoo, luckily we had our own with us. We came downstairs trying to get some food in the Palmira restaurant. We were waiting for a good 5-10 minutes before the hostess manage to come and see us even if the restaurant was empty, just 3 tables occupied. We were looking at the menus while waiting to be seated, then asked if we could have the calamari, she said yes, the had us seated. The waiter brought a completely different menu and on our question of what is the vegetarian option he replied, throwing the menu literally on the table: have a look for yourself. We were puzzled!!! We then asked for drinks menu, his reply was they don't have one!!! How were we supposed to choose the wine or cocktails if no menu was available!?! He also said we should go to the bar outside the restaurant if we want drinks!! We left in hurry and because we were tired didn't feel like going out to a different restaurant. Instead we went to the lobby had some deserts and cocktails. Tom, the manager came to see us and apologised, offering to take care of the deserts. As we were waiting for the deserts to arrive, the hostess from the restaurant came with the deserts and with an extremely arrogant tone said: i hope you enjoy it, enjoy it, enjoy it, with a fake, satisfied insane smile. Anyway, as we got the check from the other waiter, they forgot to "take care of the deserts" as advised by the manager, we had to remind them again...
Close to airrport and car rental.
Limited parking. Valet expensive
Service, free internet, good shuttle service to/from LAX (through QuickPark Parking). Despite being inside LAX, it's very quiet and you get a good sleep before your flight.
Mandatory valet parking. No power sockets to recharge phone/tablet near beds.
We liked the restaurant and the lobby bar. Staff were friendly and, although it was an airport hotel, the restaurant seemed to have some regular customers. The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent and the food was generally good value.
The outdoors swimming pool wasn't really useable in winter.
good relation between price and quality .no surprises, all well .free shuttle helps too .
Receptionist at arrival was very friendly. We got an extra lamp for our room as it was very dark.
Room furniture looked very old and unfitting for size of room. We didn't arrive late but still had a very long day and so we decided to order from downstairs. Food and a bottle of wine, only food and two glasses arrived, the guy who brought it up said he would bring the bottle, took the full glasses with him and didn't show up again till we called downstairs after the food was already cold. When we were done with food we got our bottle, a little inconvenient.
lack of décor in the room
The service at the restaurant in the hotel was horrible.
Shuttle bus service and comfort of room
Shower was old and difficult to use.
The location is perfect.
It takes too long to check in. An updated system would be necessary.
my wife flew in from overseas and had booking but when arrived, couldnt pay with cash without physicaly having same credit card she booked room with.had to spend night in terminal, you guys are chumps, will bad mouth this chain to every one I come in contact with,In america and overseas-your loss!!!!!!
The room was big and airy. The check in staff was helpful.
Excellent location (5 minute drive from LAX airport - courtesy shuttle provided every 10 minutes). Free wi-fi in the bedroom. Comfortable bed (king room). Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for layover. Breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty.
Bedroom light switches were not great - did not work with ease, had to press down several times.
The location was prefect! With LA traffic, it takes nearly an hour to get just about anywhere. This location was ideal, it felt very safe & though we were literally right across from LAX, it was not extremely busy. If you squint through the smog, you had a lovely view of the Hollywood sign. I Would definetly stay again.
The parking sucked! The deck was swamped with cars through most of my stay often causing me to park on the top floor (9) & there was an expensive unexpected fee. On the bright sight, the hotel offers a daily parking pass for $20 a night with in & out privileges so that came in handy.
Personable, efficient, knowledgable staff ready to to give speedy service.
The bed, it was too hard. My back is still hurts.
The location is great and the beds are pretty good.
The hotel uses a spray to disinfect every room + the hallways every day. If you have perfume allergy you don't want to get anywhere near this hotel.
The bar area had an excellent staff and the hotel was generally very nice.
There seemed to be missing furniture in our room. Only 1 night stand and a big empty space in an area that should have had a sofa chair or something. Weird.
Only an overnight stay before flying out of LA but it was good and very close to airport with free shuttle.
