New Years eve I was told by a member of staff no food or drink available charged 20$ for car parking sign on the street 10 $ per night reception staff more interested in their computer screens cold by nature and unfriendly
Free wifi Walking distance to bus and metro stations, natural history museum
Noise from outside Only chiffon curtains used for curtains. Privacy concern!
The front desk personnel were very helpful.
There was no bell service.
Conveniently located very close to USC. Spacious room, clean. Comfortable bed. Staff was polite and efficient.
Noise comes from the outside, even though I was given a room in the back. Air conditioning is loud.
Location to USC campus
Interesting neighborhood near by
The staff. Management not responding to concerns that I addressed.
Staff were good and we'll presented. Basic gym. Cheap but comfy chair.
No awning for guest drop off out of the weather. I'm currently at Abby's Anaheimer Inn. Same quality as Abby's but triple the price and Abby's is right next to Disneyland. Parking lot in different building for $20 and a nice walk in the rain. Abby's is free parking right next to my room.
Not a better place to stay for our USC tour. Hotel clean, people friendly, perfect location.
Next to the shrine!!!
The extra $40 tacked on at the end for parking and taxes. It was a surprise.
The staff were great andAnderson rooms so very comfortable and clean!
Everything was great!
We stayed for three nights. Our room had a sliding door to the pool worked out pretty nice!
The room we satyed in also was right next to the vending machine and security and the man was extremely nice but at 630-7am the Employees would have a loud conversation outside the room door and woke us up every morning. The morning of check out was the first morning we got to sleep in on the trip check out was at noon so we took advantage of it! But housekeeping decided to come in out room at 830am to clean it?
pool is in the shade until noon
Remodeled rooms were very nicely designed, clean, and comfortable. The location is fantastic if you have business at USC (right across the street).
Rooms a bit on the small side -- especially a room with two beds, and especially for the price. Breakfast was just granola bars and fruit in the lobby, and that wasn't available every morning. Expect hotels of this type to offer a better breakfast.
Good hotel with good facilities for good value
Staff is good with a personal touch. Wifi n printer facility was very handy specially for freshmen at USC. Location is great esp for USC students' parents.
I stayed the weekend of fyf and this hotel was super convenient for the location. I didn't see much of the hotel because I was out for the most part.
Checking in I wanted to use cash and the girl was rejecting it, I work in the hospitality business I know you can pay cash when checking out but I wanted to do it at that moment and it seemed like she didn't want to deal with it. Also, I called at about 12:30am for toiletries and they never brought it up to the room.
Good location near the campus.
I didnt like the quality of the food of the hotel resturant but they were fair in regards of taking back what was not good.
The hotel restaurant was not good
USC college vibe for all ages!
It's hard to get a room, it's always sold out!
I like that it was close to a lot of L.A's main attractions like the natural history museum, staple center etc. The staff was friendly and didn't hesitate to answer my questions.
High ceilings, nice decor, proximity to pool, close to Exposition Park. Parking situation excellent.
Decades' worth of hair in bathtub drain, former guest's slippers left in room + Clumps of hair in pool show that general cleaning of hotel needs attention. Very noisy next to elevator & ice machine: door needs soundproofing. Slow to refill coffee in the lobby.
Location, bed comfort, housekeeping
Parking fee, 20 bucks a day is ridiculous.
The bathtub drain is clogged
