My partner and myself arrived on different flights from different continents; whilst the room was booked for two persons, she (arriving first) could not get into the room at 1400, having to wait two hours, after a trans-Atlantic flight - and then only following a telephone call from me to the duty manager (who was, in fairness, most helpful). This followed pre-arrival difficulties in extending the stay from two to three nights, not because the hotel was full but because the systems were imperfectly incompatible with the booking.com system. Finally, the offer of a late check-out, offered by booking.com at the time of booking, had to be negotiated on the day with a duty manager. These are small issues which, taken together, undermined the experience of what seems to be a well-appointed hotel.
The room was neat, tidy and well laid out.
