Terrible service; hairs found all over the bed. Disgusting.
I requested for a king size bed during booking but they do not have it upon arrival. The pillows are not good as well and they do not provide slippers and tooth brushes.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent location for shopping and it's just a 15-min walk to Time Square. There are a few restaurants nearby the hotel and the are reasonably priced.
Were on the 16th floor and one of the elevators were broken we had to wait a very long time to get up and down.
Room was nice and comfortable.
The hotel seems to be undergoing management changes, therefore, it looks like it has been put on "hold". Needs a lot of fixing and remodeling. We were out of hot water in the morning, but it was promptly taken care of. The amenities are cheap, the free internet is very unstable. I honestly expected more. I would say there is nothing to complain about as long as the rate stays up to $150 per night (including taxes).
Wonderful Staff, best location, easy access to everything, comfortable bed, clean, free botteled water every day in the room.
Wifi was a challenge, most of the time I was unable to connect!
Convenience of location and helpful hints from the staff, it was a treat!
Close to subway
Room was a bit cold at night, as if windows didn't shut properly.
Decided spontaneously to spend a night in NYC, found an excellent internet rate one day in advance.
I travel for work on a weekly basis but am not by any stretch a travel snob. This place is a nice hotel but poorly managed. We waited 45 minutes in line to check in (there were only 8 guests in line the entire time). They didn't have a room for us at 4 pm, had us sign all kinds of paperwork and wanted to charge us more than the booked rate for an upgrade. The "upgraded" room was old and dated, dirty and lacking a view (looked into a brick courtyard). Avoid the restaurant attached to the hotel. They couldn't deliver us a hot cup of coffee or breakfast after 90 minutes and frequent requests for an update.
The price point was good but deceiving as it is nowhere near a four or five star accommodations. It is also very populated by international tourists which make for very long lines
The room size is very small
Lovely hotel and rooms, good food in the Martinique Café for teenagers and adults, lovely friendly staff. Good location for the Big Bus tour stops, Macys, Empire State Building and an entertaining 20 minute walk to Times Square with lots of food places on the way. Thank You, we would come back at the drop of a hat!
The location most of all. Conveniently placed for access to most parts of the city.
The wifi wasn't good at all.
Staff were very nice and went out their way to help. Room was very comfortable
All good - a bit chaotic in lobby at times No mini Bar or tea making facilities
Convenient base for all things New York.
No Carlson Club points if you don't book through them. A rip-off.
Computers available for guests in lounge. Very nice.
There was nothing I didn't like.
My sincere thanks to Peter @ front desk for arranging help to get a booking error on MY part , straightened out... He was able to work with booking.com & was able to secure another room for next month. I had mistakeningly booked 2 rooms for 5 Apr . Peter's suggestion of me contacting booking.com resolved the problem & set me up for a return stay next month. He went the extra mile for me, greatly appreciated.
Approach far from Time Square,Central Park,Rockfeller etc No Tea kettle in room and bathrooms were not good and quality of essentials was bad
Staff was helpful
Comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room.
Great location, friendly staff.
I couldn't stay longer
I work in a customer service environment and I notice excellent customer service immediately. My experience was exceptional. Thank byou!!
The heater system was noisy. The room was a little small, but comfortable anyway.
The location was great. The room was nice although small.
Bed very hard
Being on the penthouse room- excellent facilities there
So minor but not enough K cups in room.
Location. Walking distance to most everything. If not the subway station was right outside the entrance. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly
The drinks and food in the restaurant (not the cafe) was not worth the $
The hotel and staff
