We were on the fourth floor right in line for the night lights to light up our room at night. We were also near the elevator and listen to it go up and down through the night. We missed the microwave and fridge as most hotels furnish.
Everything was fine for the post part. Closeness to the airport and other attractions were great. Shuttle service to and from the airport and running times were exceptional.
On the morning of our departure the elevators stopped working stranding me on our (6th) floor. My wife had just departed on the shuttle for the Airport to meet our son whom was arriving from Baghdad and when they returned they had to use the stairs to get to our floor. The problem with that, the front desk clerk did not know where the stairs were and told them they would have to find them. When it came time for us to depart we all had to use the stairs. This time there was a problem. I am severely handicapped in both legs causing me/us an undue hardship in taking us almost 45 minutes to get to the lobby. Once in the lobby I found the desk clerk to be very unsympathetic and unwilling to offer any type compensation. Once arriving home that afternoon (Thursday)I had to go to bed where I've been for the past 3 days. Nothing short of and at a bare minimum a 100% refund of our one night stay in this hotel will ever bring us back again.
The staff and manager were very considerate of our needs and took care of everything and did more for us than any Hotel I have ever had a chance to stay at in my life, and I have been in more than 100 motels. When we were there it was for a family reunion and we will be at this Radisson for any reason that we would be in Nashville. The restaurant service and food were excellent as were all the staff and our room was very quiet and clean

Beds really comfortable. Liked the hotel and the staff. Very friendly and efficient. The airport is right beside the hotel although there was no noise intrusion. Room rates were very reasonable.
Although you can get to downtown quickly by taxi, at $20 each way it can add up. This the only downside to using this hotel!

Someone tripped fire alarm at 4am. No compensation was given. Not even a small item or discount.

The reputation of The Radisson held up to it's name. The staff went beyond their job assisting with toys that were left in a draw, posting them on to our next destination.
Very large rooms...especially enjoyed the separate sitting area for reading, watching tv and planning our days activities. The bed was very comfy and all the rooms were clean.

This hotel was clean but is overdue for a update/remodel. They accidentally gave us the wrong room (one that wouldn't work for us), but when I brought it to the staff's attention, they were very accommodating and fixed the problem quickly.

Fire alarm went off at 5am and entire hotel had to evacuate. I'm sure it was an isolated incident but after travelling for 16hrs it's the last thing you want

The bed was extremely uncomfortable
We stayed because my son has autism and we had an appointment at Vanderbilt children's hospital. The floor in our room was stained and dirty,hair in the bathtub. MMy son loves to bbe in a pool so I made sure the hotel had an indoor heated pool. Apparently ,the way they "heat" it is by having the room very hot. The pool was cold and it had hair in it and clumps of hair and dirt on the bottom. The night before his appointment, the fire alarm goes off at 4:30am. It only sounds alarm and then a voice comes on and says ,"warning,you nee", then it stops! My son is very upset and we jump up and look out in hallway and see no one and no one outside. We figure that since it shut of, someone must have pulled alarm by mistake. I turn tv on to find cartoons to calm my son (it has been 3 minutes since alarm sounded) and the news is on, the reporter is out front of our hotel and saying that it was just a lot of smoke and no fire. So they had let guests back in about an HOUR ago!! I guess if you are on 4th floor and in back, you just have to burn if there is a fire! Our phone didn't work either. There were no vending machines either. We left a day early,after appointment, and will never go back! It will take a while before we will be able to get my son to stay in a hotel again.
