the hotel apparently never received my reservation from booking.com. they were able to provide me with a room last minute but it wasn't a king bed room like i reserved.
Staff was friendly, nice brunch included, free parking was convenient
The bed was horribly uncomfortable . It was supposedly a sleep number bed however the control didn't work. Pillows were horrible!
The staff was polite and the room service was good quality.
However, it was the USA it was incredibly striking the staff asked for tip for the complimentary self-service breakfast. In overall the hotel was a bit worn-out.
The place was very clean the breakfast was great! Lots of fresh choices. Pretty courtyard and safe parking
The dinner was quite expensive not really worth the price. It was ok but we paid less at Joe Crab Shack for 3 meals and drinks! The shuttle would not give us a ride to the us airways center said they only do 3 mile radius and the center is like 3.2! That was the main reason we choose this hotel so it was very disappointing. The only front desk that was really helpful was the night. She was very freiendly while the rest seemed rude.couldnt figure out how to use temperpitic remote no numbers showed up so had to guess so if one person sleeping on the bed be prepaired to sleep uneven one side will be softer and one harder. Half the pool was out of order.
We stayed one night during AZ travels. 1st room had loud AC unit. Staff was quick to move us to adjoining room. Easy walk to restaurants. Beautiful garden and pool area. Comfortable lobby. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing during our stay really stood out or apart from other hotel chains. We got a decent room for the money but nothing exceptional to note
Night staff was behind counter when we returned from dinner and never even looked up from checking their phone to acknowledge or welcome us. Thought that was unusual
Excellent service, quality rooms. Beautiful facilities, clean. Felt up-scale, and an excellent value for the money.
Parking garage could be better lit.
Staff at Bar & Restaurant was great!
Facilities good . Comfortable bed.
Front desk staff not in uniform and no local knowledge. No phones for 2 days. Take away cups at breakfast.
I was very well pleased till the "continental" breakfast.
Was expected to give a tip to the kitchen staff. My husband left table to get a drink and they took the book off the table and kept looking at him pointing to the receipt saying zero, zero, zero in Spanish. Did not say thank you when I he did give them a tip.
Rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Bathroom amenities are top quality. Breakfast is included and was quite delicious. Hotel is located a block and a half from the Light Rail, so great location for downtown activities.
Air Conditioning/Heating units are too loud to use while trying to sleep or watch television. Internet was spotty.
nice hotel for the price
Looks old and run down
Limited parking at late hours
nice room Contintental breakfast
A/C didn't shut off all night
The Staff were wonderful. The room was spotless. It felt like home. I Could not have chosen a better place to stay my first night in Arizona in 15 years! The gardens were beautiful! There was a full moon and wonderful sunset.
Not a thing
The staff was excellent. From the check in clerk, the waitress, the cooks and the cleaning staff...They went above and beyond!
The adult boutique next store.... Some of the carpet in the hallway were stained
I liked the breakfast and the out side garden and shuttle
-I did not like the telephone in the room wires connected to ear piece falling out when talking on it..my ear phones that I had for my phone and air plane went missing in my room. And the toilet tank handle was broke most of the time so we had to lift the cover of the tank to flush it.
This hotel is right in middle of downtown Phoenix, has great pool, free parking, excellent beds (mine this night was a king-size sleep number, so I could make it as firm or as soft as I wanted). This was my second stay through booking.com, regular rate is $119 which would be an excellent value for the price, but through booking.com I got it for $89 unbelieveable for the quality of this hotel. Staff was very friendly and approachable
On this stay I was on the top floor and the WiFi was terrible, very slow and kept dropping out. Don't know if it was too many users, or because being on top floor was too far away, but it was very aggravating.
Fittings of the room
small amount of the space in wardrobe
We stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed a good welcome and we particularly enjoyed the adjustable mattresses on the queen size bed. You could change each half of the bed to hard or soft according to your needs. At breakfast we loved the make your own waffle machine. We would have liked a little more choice on the hot buffet. A good location hotel at reasonable prices.
Would have liked a little more choice on the hot buffet at breakfast. Limited to warm hard scrambled eggs, tasty sausages and lots of carbs. Having said that the waffle machine was fab.
-Location -Price -Breakfast staff -Check-in staff -Housekeeping
-We stayed in room 634 for 10 days and the room smelled of mildew. We purchased desinfectant to cope with the smell. The mildew could be present because the air conditioner drain value has not been flushed with cleanser or ammonia on a regular basis. - The mildew smell could also be because the bathroom ventilation system needed cleaning. - Lighting in the lower parking lot needs improvement for better security & the stairs leading from the 2nd to 1st level had trash that was present for 2-3 days before I reported it for removal. -Finally, the carpet in the room we stayed was very worn and was in need of replacement. If the above items are properly addressed by management soon, this would be a premiere hotel to stay at on a repeated basis.
It was close to the airport
The bed was really uncomfortable.
The gardens and building are nice.
But the hvac system makes the entire building vibrate. It feels like you are inside a blender. Worse the individual room air units turn on and off by themselves even when set to off mode. Needless to say this makes for regularly interupted sleep.
The roof top room had a great view and it was quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly.
There was black mold under the peeling wall paper in our room. The upstairs pool was unusable and the down stairs pool had several areas that were taped off with yellow tape. If breakfast is free, why are you placing a bill with nothing due on the tables, requiring a room number? The bathroom needed more area to place toiletries.
