The only good thing was the soup I had at dinner and our kind waitress.
The hotel till had a broken elevator, hot tub that was out of order all the games were out of order bathrooms are out of order and my bed was broke. Need I say more?
The staff was incredibly friendly!!
Elevator out of order, hot tub out of order, dbl charged on extras or overcharged on extras. Not worth the price.
Staff gave us a ride downtown and picked us up!
I loved the comedy show ! The bed and pillows were cozy and the room was clean.
Could not access wifi most of the trip and the pool was closed . The hot tub was broken and drained and by the time the sauna heated up I was ready to go to the room. Stay close to the mall as everything is 20 minutes away!
The room was very clean aND inviting. . The bed very clean fresh and comfortable, as well as the entire hotel.
This was my second time staying here....The staff was not very friendly and it seemed like it was a chore for them to do anything for you, both stays . TV was short on stations. Not a big problem. No breakfast, had to go to restaurant in the hotel. .had the buffet, not that great for the money
Staff was wonderful really made us feel at home. The room was clean and very large, bed was comfortable. Went down to lounge for music and a few drinks and had a great time.
The staff was very friendly. The room was great.
The hotel staff was great Room was good Bed was good.
The shower was not working properly and I could not get the bath and shower to stop working at the same time. Other people in the hotel were talking about other such issues. Comedy night had many drunk people and Not much parking for guests. Unless their was another event that night. One drunk man almost got into a fight on the elevator with a woman. I thought Id have to step in. Wifi was a constant issue for my ipad.
I like the style of the hotel
I didn't like that our bed was a sleep number and wasn't plugged in or wasn't working
Blankets and pillows were great.
Location is close to downtown but view of river is not tht great.
The location was very quiet and is very easy to get to.
Sleep number bed in my room did not work.
The hotel was great and in a really awesome location for the money. Just a quick trip on the highway and you can be anywhere in GR
Sleep number beds not great. VERY disappointing that there was no wi fi working. I was needing to do my own work while my daughter was at a conference at Amway. Got nothing done as your wi fi was not working!!!
Good room. The staff was nice. And it was pretty clean.
Sleep number bed took forever to work. The location is bad and there are homeless people begging right off the property.
Clean friendly service.
comfortable, clean & quiet. Friendly staff.
Everything needs to be updated. Too far away from downtown Grand Rapids. No microwave or fridge in our room, so we had to "travel" 1 floor up or 1 floor down for ice. No breakfast included with the stay
Location to Grand Rapids Marathon. Had a fridge in room.
Sleep Number beds did not work and were hard as rock. Was there to run a marathon and advised we would need late check out (1pm) to allow to get back from the race. Manager said could not allow it as it would cost more to keep the maid staff around. We said we would gladly pay for late check out. Bar area was gross decore had not changed since probably the 70's. Orange peeling "pleather" chairs. Front reception area had decore from the 80's. Would not recommend this facility to others.
Very friendly staff, sleep number bed.
Hotel looked "worn" (but clean). Expected better for the $
Great bar and restaurant
Pretty much everything
I did like that it was just 2 miles from downtown Grand Rapids with easy access. Sleep number bed was fun to play around with even though I never settled on what my actual number was.
Bathroom area wasn't as clean as it should have been. I usually like to feel like I'm getting a little luck Sharee where I didn't at this hotel. I also overheard two other people in front of us complain and the hotel didn't offer any discount for any accommodation for them.
Staff was friendly but not paying attention to requests for assistance with some issues. Bed, heat, amenities. Free shuttle to town.
Sleep # bed not working, no replenishment on water, shampoo, etc. Heater was not functioning properly
A limited menu but the prime rib was delicious. The dining room overlooks the Grand River. The room was nicely decorated but not sure the air conditioning system worked.
In a no-man's-land, it used to be a Holiday Inn and it's still an old Holiday Inn with some remodeling - the dining area looks like it did 40 years ago.
The lobby was nice and clean, Our room was o.k. clean. I do prefer a little cleaner but it was fine.
The room is a good size and was clean. This hotel really needs a face lift.
The bed, even though it was a Sleep Number Bed, was very uncomfortable. It was an ancient version of this type of bed---it made soooo much noise when filling that it was laughable. I set the number to the one I use at home, but it just didn't stay at that setting. I woke up with a terrible back ache. Also, it doesn't matter to me, but the room was billed as "city view"; but the view was of the parking lot and the highway! We checked in late at night. The lobby and parking lot had many drunk people (I'm assuming from a wedding reception?) who were swearing, yelling, and some were being held back by others so they wouldn't fight. The desk clerk glared at them, but didn't say anything.
