Score from 59 reviews Very good
the heat would not turn off all night long the room was at 80 degreesthey did not run the shuttle bus to get people to the concert instead they ran a minivan
The view of building roofs out to the river is ugly! Breakfast server seemed apathetic.
Bed was very comfy and quiet.
The bath room had black hair in the tub on two different days, as well as in the corner, floor of the tub. The sink could have been a little cleaner as well. The table near the window was dusty on the bottom. It made me wonder how clean the room was. Room 914
Friendly staff, at all levels.
They want a damage deposit with the room, but the rooms already have wallpaper comming off from the walls. The restaurant was sub par.
Close to downtown and US 131
The food delivered to the room was not good. For example, the bread had something oily on it, but it was not butter, sausages and bacon under cooked, Quesadilla had no cheese (queso) which we should have suspected as when the order was taken they insisted it was pronounced kay-sa-dill-a. It's a laugher now, but we went hungry.
Staff that meets the public was friendly and helpful. It seemed like their back up (Internet, cleaning and kitchen) were not doing their job very well.
The bed was literally hard as a rock. The room was smaller than we anticipated.
Sauna and pool were nice. Front desk was very accommodating. Location was a short distance from downtown.
Would have preferred a microwave in the room and heavier bedding (or an extra blanket in the room closet). The toilet in our room was not fully secured to the floor - some maintenance was needed.
Easy access on/off the highway; easy access to downtown area. The room was clean and dinner at The Landing was good.
Pool area was extremely cold.
Restaurant area and staff were fantastic
The staff was the best part of my stay. The facilities had everything I needed and the sleep number beds are always a good night sleep
The rooms were kind of small and cramped.
The Lobby area was nice.
The restaurant/bar is outdated and our sleep number bed didn't work. I thought the rooms were a little overpriced as well.
Clean. friendly staff and close to downtown. We were able to ride the Hopper to and from Ionia Street.
Let's make a list! Worlds loudest heating unit. Woke us up every 15-20 minutes. Freezing pool. Bathtub didn't drain. Non drained tub is where I noticed the extremely chlorinated water. Noticeably Blue color. Shower had (maybe) 35% pressure, it didn't divert from the spout properly.
Sleep number bed was okay.
Loud furnace and neighbors. Got little sleep due to furnace cycling on and off, and neighboring room argument "all night". Didn't want to ruin anyone's stay, so I sacrificed my own.
Karaoke was entertaining at the bar.
Sleep number didn't work. One side was like a rock, one side was too soft.
The location saved us loads of money on rides to/from the center of the city. Even so, we didn't have to break the bank to stay here - fantastic value!
Hairdryer broken in our room. Elevator had throw up in it shuttle service was horrible. Ended up missing our ride in the beginning even after we told desk and shuttle was no where to be found later. Ended up being ripped off by a car company after calling shuttle number and waiting 45 min for shuttle which we never ever saw Very disappointed :(
WiFi was a bit sketchy, walls are thin.
They were able to check us in early to help us get to our event on time. Sleep number beds were nice.
There were drunk guests who were fighting in the hallways, making lots of noise in the middle of the night!
The shuttle that takes you downtown.
I was meeting friends here and we made a point to ask to be on the same floor. Didn't happen. They booked on line like I did and they "couldn't find it" almost did get a room at all.
Location, room service, clean.
don't stay any more
Wallpaper was starting to peel, it was so cold in the pool room that there was frost on the INSIDE of the window frames, and the restaurant showed some serious signs of age.
This is a well-located hotel for ease of access and view; it's just off the highway and only minutes from downtown.
I enjoyed the hot tub, it was fairly large for a hotel.
The staff was friendly and the in room service was also very good.
Room was clean, price was good for location.
