Super hotel, great location and value for money. Really enjoyed the space in the suite and the pleasant nature of the staff.
Room service could have been more attentive over supply of coffee and tea.
Great room, great shower, amazing staff
A nice location for walking to shops and attractions. It was just enough off Michigan Ave. to be a bit more quiet too. Bed and bedding was cushy and comfy! Drumbar with rooftop deck was cool but there is a downside to having a popular bar in your hotel as well.
Sharing our hotel with a popular bar has good and bad points. We were able to only have a drink once because on the weekend you actually need a reservation just to have a drink! This rooftop bar was one of the features of the hotel that made me chose it for my birthday and it did not pan out. You also have to share the hotels very small elevators with all the people (not hotel guests) going to and from the bar on the 18th floor.
Everything, we will be back.
Totally happy . Thank You
I thought the staff was wonderful. Room not huge but very nice.
People were screaming a At each other in the hall. Maybe a bit rowdy after the drum bar. That is not hotel's fault but made me nervous as I was alone
Located next to John Hancock, 1 block to Magnificent Mile. Chicago's Famous Gourmet Donuts "Glazeo" in lobby . Fun interactive Trivia Games at Night via text-I won a bottle of wine- fun & different! Love this Boutique Hotel & their amazing staff! Huge Suite- beautiful. We will be back for sure, we loved The Rafello! Dennis & Lori McGhee Burlington Ontario
We really loved pretty much everything. The only thing we felt was not our favourite was the Hotel Restarant. Food & service fabulous but it was very over priced. Example we ordered a cheese tray for a dessert for 3 . When it arrived all I could do was try not to laugh. There was 3 flat squares of cheese & we eachws received a "pretty" but tasteless strange looking cracker. This was $18!
Staff and room were good. Bar was horrible with terribly slow service. Bed was so soft and uncomfortable.
Location,Location,Location This hotel is within walking distance to most shopping and many great restaurants!
Paying 60.00 a night to park my car!

Bath room poor, lack of shelfs.

I Loved everything about this place, location was excellent , the hotel is right on the Magnificent Mile, so all the designer shops and department stores are right there. Also in walking distance to the Holy Name Cathedral and the Looking Glass Theatre and Millennium Park. The room was spacious, simply but elegantly decorated and very comfortable. It was everything we needed , and having a bar fridge and a microwave oven in the room was an absolute plus ! Would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet comfortable hotel in the heart of Chicago.
No breakfast at the restaurant.
Everithing what you usually call a standart for a 4 star hotel.
There was 3 issue - 1 air conditioning was not at the level, 2 minibar update was not at the acceptable level, 3 very expensive 3rd party parking.
Location and size of room and bsyth
Lighting in room and bath poor . best and air condition is loud motor noise for sleeping
The location was excellent for dining and shopping.
I didn't like the fact I could not stay for a longer visit.
I really liked this hotel. We looked for a twin room and seem to have been given an extra large one, it was so roomy. The kitchenette was great, especially the refridgerator and there's a table and 2 chairs also. We brought plastic bowls and crockery with us, so just bought what we needed (small shop across the road) and had our own healthy breakfast in the room (there are only doughnuts for sale downstairs). Fine size shower. Good location beside the John Hancock Tower and Macys, and it feels like a safe part of the city, I'd prefer it to the Millenium Park area. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Would have liked a kettle instead of a coffee-maker as I'm a tea-drinker, but I don't suppose any other Chicago hotel would have been any different. Would also have liked a second suitcase stand so we'd have one each, but no hotel seems to ever provide 2 of these. But nothing major to crib about, really nice hotel.
The location is great...close to transportation and attractions, yet far enough away for quiet. The concierge staff were knowledgable, friendly and helpful.
The hotel's check out process, while quick, has me concerned about their billing practices. Two days after check out and from a different state I am waiting for the billing to be finalized. Also, while the donuts were great, a better breakfast and lunch option would be nice (and healthier)!
Expensive but it was the weekend of the marathon.
My room was spacious, simply but elegantly decorated and very comfortable. It was everything I needed. I was out most of the day so it was good to have somewhere to comeback to and relax. Good to have a refrigerator and a microwave.
location, building, staff
elevators terribly slow
