Hotel was top notch, beautiful room and a great location.
location, being so central to everything made the stay so much nicer, we could walk to everything on the Mag mile and it was convenient for bus routes, hop on etc. Hotel room was well appointed and roomy and reasonably clean , so quiet for being in the heart of a bustling city.
service cleanliness location
I liked the position/location
Very bad Internet service Dirty room carpet Elevator ticketing
up grade to suite
the lift facility to each floor very slow
Large room for a boutique hotel. Great rooftop bar
Very helpful reception staff who helped with two queries I had. Large beds and TV. Great shower Doughnut shop in foyer. Close to the lake and shops
Small bathroom. The bar on the rooftop draws big crowd at weekend
Large-sized, lovely room, very comfortable for us and two kids. Upgraded on arrival. Friendly staff, great location.
Kitchenette was stocked with one glass, no cutlery/plates or anything else. Not sure of the point of having a kitchenette without anything in it!
Limited TV channels Slow small elevators
Location was great, size of room good and great to have a fridge :-)
Lifts were too small and was often kept waiting, ice machine was out of order got the time we were there, bath tome were not automatically replenished with shower gells etc. we enjoyed our stay but felt there was little or no acknowledgement of the fact we were in hotel for 10 nights by front desk staff,
Location, location, location. Staff was great, rooftop bar was awesome, though loud. Bed was very comfortable.
The wall treatment in the room was a bit weird, but other than that, everything was great.
I like the layout of the room, the comfort mattress and the fact that we do not heard any noise from the street.
The lack of a full size mirror
Loved the architecture of the building. Friendly staff. One block from the lake shore walk. Close to shopping and restaurants. Met some friends who were at the Marriott and they loved our location.
Most of the staff.
When I checked in, the room was not ready. I was told the luggage would be place in my room so just leave it in lobby. When we arrived later, the check in staff said that she did not know where the luggage is and that I should have requested a ticket. She suggested we go to the room, look then call down. I asked her to check in the check room and the luggage was there. It was not a polite exchange on either of our parts.
We were in the king suites and they were so spacious, we felt like we were home. .with a proper living room and a bedroom, and lots of closet space.
The toilets were really tiny and had minimal shelves/counters...barely any space for the toiletries. Also, we were under the impression that the kitchenette had a sink as we went to the hotel for these facilities since we were traveling with babies and needed to wash baby bottles, etc. We had no sink and the toilet didn't have counter space making it very difficult and almost unsanitary to keep our baby items clean!
hotel was every clean everyone was friendly was a great location for us had a wedding to attend and we could walk to it. Had grand children stay with us had plenty of room for them to play and sleep.
Giant room 40+ HD TV Great service
The location is the best
location and overall facility
Excellent price for parking a block from hotel. Good location for walking to shops.
Elevators were small and made frequent stops. No restaurant for breakfast.
3 min walk to the Hancock tower (360 Chicago) 3 min walk to the Modern Art Museum 10 min walk to 'Chicago' train station (red line) Really large bed + really big modern flat screen Fridge and a *microwave* in the room Modern shower
No breakfast facilities
Staff was awesome and room was very comfortable.
Tiny elevators and easily plugged restroom
Location, Location, Location. The staff is very nice, polite, helpful and friendly.
The building is old and antequated. Elevators are outdated and totally overloaded. In the family suites the bathrooms are tiny and impractical, the washstands are minuscule. The windows are dirty and the views at the back side are not exciting.
