Difficult to get a taxi. Had to use a rather expensive hotel shuttle bus to get to the nearby shopping mall.
rooms were great, clean, etc. Staff was polite and helpful. Bar looked pretty nice too.
because close to airport, it's a weird location. seemed like a marginal neighborhood and of course near a brutally huge freeway exit. some funny folks hanging out around the building. However, it's Miami, and that's kind of what Miami is. If you need to get on the plane, it's a good place to sleep.
inexpensive and close the airport. just needed a place to sleep for one night then onto a cruise, so for the value it was OK. Grounds are very pretty and not highlighted much.
Shuttle took too long to get to airport; staff could have been a little bit nicer; food was just average and not worth the price.
Room very clean. Grounds beautiful. Close to airport.
Breakfast was lacking choices. Cereal hot oats would be nice. Toaster slow.
staff was helpful transportation to cruiseport was great food was good
couldn't walk anywhere to find other places to eat or shop
Pictures of the facility on the website was very deceiving. Felt like I was staying at a motel when I thought I paid for a hotel.
We were able to check in early, the beds and bathrooms were clean, the staff provided many menus for carry out/delivery services.
The beds were clean, but the rooms were musty smelling and you could tell where old pictures used to hang on the walls.
Run down old motel with yes a swimming pool in the central area. The rooms are no frills, although the bed are firm. Old curtains on the windows that allow people to see from outside when lights are on. Certainly not 150$ night. Breakfast is poor (unreal oatmeal, a few bagles, wonder type bread, etc...) they have the nerve to charge $5 extra for terrible looking eggs, sausages, etc... Americana at its worst not even woth 50$ a night, These motels (there are other slightly better located next to a run down shopping mall -- Holiday Inn, Comfort Suites, etc ... ) all over this no man lands location take advantage of the cruise passengers that depart from the FL port on the next day. Ramada offers this $10 per passenger transfer to the port. I would rather have a reasonably prized room and pay the taxi which is not over 10$. In order to get something to eat outside the culinary excellences of this Ramada, swalk on a bridge over I 95 hoping you do not get grazed by upcoming traffic. So you just hope to spend the night and get out as fast as you can.
clean comfortable beds, free transport to the cruise ships
slow service and antiqated baths, took over an hour to get picked up after the cruise, way too long
Dirty and rundown
The bathroom door could not close at all, had been very poorly installed/fixed. Room could have been cleaner.
We were there only one night
The 1950's style motel still not updated
Price includes shuttle. Adequate facility, but not fancy. Rendezvous restaurant one block away. Courtyard pool, sheltered from traffic.
Breakfast crowd overflowed seating. Cash required for fresh-cooked eggs.
Noise at night
Very good value for your money
Thing went very well. Nothing bad unless you want a 5 star, but you would have to pay a lot more.
The location is great, the restaurant has great Latin food and the shuttle service was fantastic.
Put me in a rear room facing the back lot, with dumpsters and a strange man lurking out there. Changed rooms, and key would not work. Had keys remade, and still did not work. Maintenance guy let me in to my room. Clerk at front desk was irritated with me and maintenance guy. Had to stay in room all evening for fear of being locked out. Refrigerator is seen in photos, but is not included in rooms for price offered. Wanted to charge me an extra $10.00. This place really sucked for the amount of money I paid. Will never go back there again, and will not recommend it to anyone. Also the hotel is remodeling, and should have stated so on the website.
This facility needs a lot of work. Noisy and dirty from remodeling.
The place is old and need major renovation, far from downtown and major attractions, not worth the money, breakfast- if you wont something hot (scramble eggs etc.) it will cost you $ 5 U.S. so do not believe that breakfast is free. OK for one night stay.
Great bed. Electrician came right away to fix light over mirror.
Most places have hot breakfast for free. Disappointed in that.
Beds were very comfortable & room was quite nice as well.
Hotel was in an unusual location. If you were heading east you had to go half mile past hotel then pull uturn & go back. Parking lot or outside appeared under renovation which made parking difficult.
This property was beautiful in the garden, gazebo and courtyard areas around the pool. Very inviting. The rooms were clean and decently decorated and the beds were clean, comfortable and served their purpose. Overall the price was excellent. We saved over 75 to 100 a night.
The rooms showed their ages. The door was beat up and rusted, the bath area was small and cramped with older baths. The rooms themselves had new carpets and drapes and furniture but they did nothing in the bathrooms other than change the shower head. The in room coffee pot was FILTHY. The restaurant in the hotel was mediocre at best
We got a reasonable rate through Booking, the continental breakfast was pretty carbo heavy. I had cereal. Paying $5 for hot food was an option.
Close to airport
Breakfast is bad Rooms really old You can hear anything on the rooms
