RM SHOWS A BIT OF WEAR & TEAR. STAINS IN TUB. NO FAN IN BATHRM
It was close to Boston Market
My group of friends tArget was to close
We found roaches in our room so we called the front desk and the clerk's first response was that we could check out if we wanted to. She never offered compensation of any sort and was not apologetic at any point!
Plenty of TV channels. Bed comfortable.
Lack of housekeeping understanding English, made it difficult to get what we needed. Stained towels.Small bathroom. Charged for safe even when not using it. Unprofessional Front desk and not welcoming when checking in. Messed up reservations.
The friendliness of staff at front desk when checking out
When arriving employee was not welcoming and had a bit of an attitude. Almost reconsidered staying there.
Pleasant stay with a good breakfast. I would recommend using the road with the stoplight to enter/exit as traffic can be tricky and there is poor visibility at the front entrance road.
Check in took an hour due to someone loosing our booking paperwork.
It was clean and Location was key
Had dirty sheets n shower was nasty
Maid service every other day!
I liked that the staff was friendly. I arrived at a late hour and the staff was great. The rooms were nice and spacious.
Some of the breakfast food was not hot like it should have been, but there was a microwave
Evryone was nice especially the front desk ( didn't ask her name sorry)
The staff made us feel welcome. Comfortable bed, TV service and the TV itself was good. Complimentary breakfast was very nice.
The main room and the bathroom were too small. We had a queen size bed that made walking around the room difficult. More suitable for a twin bed.
I liked the location and the pool. All other aspects were negative
The cafeteria was awful. What was once probably a nice facility has fallen into disrepair.
Beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast foods were not good. It would be helpful to have some gluten free options.
In general very good, rooms clean, grounds very nice.
The bathroom was a bit smelly, probably the shower curtains, which makes the whole space rather unpleasant.
I was awaken at 3ÀM on Sunday morning by some very rowdy residents in rooms 114 and 118. They were on either side of me. They were even trying to open the adjoining door to my room from room 114. Maybe a night security could have made the difference.
The room what clean, comfortable bed and the court view what nice.
The Staff tried to charge me a different price then what I confirmed in my booking. He stated prices change and I have to charge you more. The other associate at the desk, printed out my confirmation paperwork to show him. He adjusted the price but still charged me more $2 then what my confirmation stated.
Cleanliness of room, evening staff
Black Mold in the bathroom and the ceiling leaked. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, however, it was a smoking room. I was extremely disappointed with my stay and will not be back ever again.
I will be staying at this hotel on future visits. Improvements to the continental breakfast. An excellent stay! Introducing granite at the vanity basin and shower /tub inserts is an excellent decision.
Window treatment upgrades are needed.
This is the worst Ramada Inn that I've ever stayed at. General cleanliness of the rooms was below average. The free wi-fi didn't work. Worst of all was the complimentary breakfast, which they charged extra on my stay to have. Never in my life have I've ever been asked to take a pre-made omelet out of a plastic container stored in a Tupperware container in a fridge and place it in a microwave oven to heat. I gave up on that and decided to just try to make a meal out of donuts, but those turned out to be a month or two old. I left the breakfast room out of disgust. The cleaning and maintenance staff seem lazy and the management of this motel should feel ashamed for giving a bad name to this respected chain. Not worth $85 a night.
I arrived at the Ramada in Pikesville February 5th. I made the reservation online for a 2 double bed nonsmoking room. When I reached the front desk, I was told that between the time I booked and my arrival, they had sold out and need to give me a room with a king sized bed and Jacuzzi. I was assured that there would not be a price change. 1. Upon arrival in the room, I noticed that there was a spot in the tub that looked suspiciously like bodily fluid. (sperm). I called the front desk for assistance. I was told that the cleaning staff had left for the evening and I would have to deal with it. 2. When I booked the room, I made sure there was a coffee/ tea maker in there because I am an avid tea drinker. I attempted to make tea and the pot blew boiling water all over and burned my right hand. When I contacted the front desk this time, they sent Ms. Winnie. She saw that the coffee maker spewed water and in fact was almost burned herself. She also saw the disgusting stain in the tub. Again, I was told nothing could be done about it. 3. Every time the air (heat) kicked on, there was an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. I specifically asked for a nonsmoking room. I have severe asthma and the main reason for coming to the Ramada is that we did not have electricity and the cold air was too dangerous for me to breathe. The acrid smell of smoke was horrible. 4. The refrigerator made this constant ticking sound. At some point it began making this loud humming/ hissing sound. At 3 am I had to unplug it. 5. Although this is minor, the clock was set to the wrong time by 20 minutes. Had I not used my phone alarm, I would have woken up late. 6. I checked my account. I was charged $107.02. (See attached). I was given a receipt by the desk person for $93.06. I have traveled nationally, internationally, and locally for business and pleasure. Never have I dealt with such disgusting conditions. The faultiness of the coffee maker was dangerous.
It was a solid, fairly inexpensive housing solution while we were visiting family nearby. Comfortable bed, largish room, okay breakfast.
