Close to the airport and you get what you pay for. It was simple, yet comfortable for the most part.
The shuttle in the morning was not running. Apparently the usual guy over slept (we needed the shuttle at 4:30 AM). The lady at the front desk drove us in her own vehicle to the airport. Thank goodness for hospitality from her!
The staff was excellent.
The heater was off when we got there(3:30 am) and it was 10 degrees outside so it took a good 2 hrs to warm up just a bit and the room we had booked through booking.Com was a king bed and we got a queen instead with no discount nor were there any available.
There was a hole in the door that we had to plug with a shirt so we didn't freeze to death.
The room the gave me a key to was not cleaned the bed was messy and beer bottles were all over the place. It was nasty. Then i reserved a king bed but she kept trying to put me in a queen it was horrible.
Not the cleanest of hotels. There were lamps but no sockets to plug them or the cellular telephones into.
close to the mall and restaurants
Dirty, very seedy hotel. Witnessed drug deals and prostitution going on. As I titled...NEVER AGAIN!
Reasonable price, good location, convenient airport shuttle.
Noisy... hard to sleep. Sounded like a herd of elephants in the room upstairs. "Free parking" is a scam. You assume parking is free if you stay and then go to the airport on a trip, but they say it's only free while you're at the hotel. Mold on ceiling in shower.
Location and price
Creaky floors, worn out sheets, farthest possible walk to room on 2nd floor
Location and price
Convenient location. Close to the red line & Highways. The price was good.
The hotel was out of ice and the pool was closed.
Room was fairly clean with a hot shower.
Key card took about twenty tries before it finally worked. Walls are very thin and I woke up every time someone walked past the door. At checkout had a problem with the price I was being charged. I had booked online so I had a fixed price but the bill was for $40.00 more. After a heated discussion this was resolved and I was only charged the price I booked online.
We reserved a non-smoking room with 2 double beds. This was the only non-smoking choice. We would have preferred kind or queen bed, but non-smoking trumped that. There was no smoke or pet odor - very good. We had a working microwave and small fridge; we always like these. The TV worked. Bed reasonably comfortable, lots of pillows. We noticed a hair dryer and ironing board - must have been an iron too? We didn't use any of these. There was a nice desk for laptop use.
This was one of those rooms where the private area has only tub and toilet, but the sink is on the outside of the bathroom door and open to the main room. We hate that layout. We want the sink INSIDE the bathroom. There were light fixtures in the room that didn't work, leaving us in semi-darkness. The phone in our room didn't work. A pool was advertised, but we found the pool's cover in place and piles of leaves on top of it. Obviously the pool has not been functional for awhile. The place was just generally dated and somewhat rundown. The breakfast was bagels, muffins, make-your-own waffles, 2 cold cereals, apples, bananas, oranges. No oatmeal or raisin bran. A couple mornings the orange juice dispenser dispensed water. This would have been fine for some, but we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast most days. We paid about $100 per night and wonder if we should have just saved a good chunk of money by going to Motel 6. This place was not $40/night nicer.
Where to start: pay for a king room and the bed was not much larger than a full, the 2nd floor out door walkway had several spots that were so soft you wondered if you might not fall through, parking was limited the breakfast had no staff to refill or wipe down tables or spills and the manager that was refilling was not using gloves when handling food items like muffins that weren't to be cooked! Will not return or recommend!
Evening clerk very nice and quite understanding that the place was a dump
Hotel was disgusting: rooms were dirty, bed broken no hot water for shower and then water would not drain, so only 1 of us got to shower. Was told on Friday night the manager would be in 8am to complain. Man at desk at 8:20am said no manager until 9, went back and was told manager would be in at 11?????? I asked for reduction in price for 2 rooms was told manager would call me.......never did. I am going to complain Corporate Ramada,,, was truly a truck stop. And attached restaurant ??? local Dive Bar so couldn't bring under 18 .oh and the pool that is advertised??? hasn't been open in1 1/2 years!!!! Carpets were worn with burn holes and one section of hallway to "restaurant" smelled like something had died.....Take this off your website!!!!
Room was dirty staff was rude
No hot water. 2 showers were cold. 1 Luke warm. Noise. Staff said I was showering when everyone else was.
One employee was stellar, anticipated my questions, took me to the airport in his personal car when the shuttle driver was late. Breakfast was available earlier than stated. Bed was comfortable.
One employee gave me bad advice regarding which shuttle to take, and I nearly missed my flight. Facilities were dingy, slight odor.
Bar & pool table fun and enjoyed it til 2:30 a.m.
Bathroom strong smell of cig smoke - was a non-smoking room, door had been kicked in previous and not repaired very well.
location close to family. Quick to respond to needs.
Made reservations for King bed and got a queen bed. Had to change. Then the shower curtain was broken. They did fix it same day I told them about it. Floors were noisy. No towels were left after they cleaned the room. There is a lot of maintance to keep the hotel up to a better standard, i.e. painting, carpets etc.
The doors on the rooms had paint pealing off. The parking lot is almost a gravel road. There was food on the floor in the room from previous guest. The morning lobby staff was rude and unfriendly.
Nice pillows - comfortable bed
Door handle broken - front door and bathroom door. security mechanism broken Left curtain coming down. Snow should have been cleared closer to walk.
I was not happy with the sevice as they claim there is no frre parking. Wanted to charge me for parking, but showed them your web site. I did stay but was not comfortable with location. Thankyou rita sloan
