Front desk lady seemed overworked but handled customers well. Took her a minute to arrive to check us in probably.because the hotel seemed under staffed. the room was newer than the exterior. Which was a little scary at first. Especially since you.have to drive thru a commercial business distrit to get there. No flat screen or fridge in the room. Definitely needs some fine details worked on. Put a towell down in the tub since it was stained. Breakfast had a good variety but partially edible. Used the shuttle. Driver was very nice and arrived for pick up in expected time!
The room was good and the bed was kunfy
Hallways stunk the pillows sucked.
I liked that we did not have far to travel to enjoy the attractions in Kansas City.
Close to the football field.
The hallways and elevators are ridiculously cold.
I liked the location of the hotel as it was near our event at arrowhead stadium.
When we arrived we were pleased to see many other NFL fans there as well and the guest service staff was fairly friendly. We got back to the hotel after our Sunday night football game (@ 15 degrees outside) and our heat that we had turned on early was shut off. The room was freezing. We called down to ask about a microwave to warm up our tailgating food we'd saved. The guest service staff member replied, "no, we don't have any." In response, I said, "you don't have an available microwave in the whole building?" And she proceeded to tell me there's one downstairs. After the game we gathered our things and headed toward the side entrance as there was no front parking, and the side doors were not accepting our key cards. So we took our things and headed to the front door, asking the front desk staff how to get in/out the side doors. She then told me, "those don't work. There is no in/out access to them." Why is there no sign there so people are not attempting to use these?! Overall a bad experience.
Water was never hot in shower, just luke warm, elevators did not work, got struck in one, used phone in elevator, got front desk, was told she could not help us, maid told us to hit door several times and it would work (which it did). Water would not turn off completely in shower, had to listen to it drip for the 2 days we were there. We walked up and down the steps because of afraid we would get struck again and there were no fire hoses in the fire hose cabinets on any of the floors we walked down. It is such a large hotel, that I see why the maintence is not kept up but if you are renting out rooms, the parts of the hotel that are being used should be in good working order. .
Really liked the shuttle to Arrowhead - it meant I didn't have to fight traffic.
The pillows were too hard
The cable because I got to watch sports center. The bed was comfortable and plenty of room.
The bar was closed due to bartenders calling in. People were rude and the location was terrible nothing close by besides gas station. The hot water didn't work hardly at all in the shower. The breakfast wasn't much of anything and lunch was never available overall not worth the 187$ I spent for the two nights.
We went for a Chiefs game and I was happy to see they offered a free shuttle to and from the game! No problems with checking in or out!
Very nice facility, located by industrial park not a big deal since we only needed the hotel to sleep after the football game! Very quiet room, nice breakfast. Will stay there again!!
The price, the service, the facilities.
The shower heads are cheap and low. The place is a little hard to find.
The price was right for a short, overnight stay during a slow week night. Front desk staff was nice.
Hotel is off a main road in an industrial park. Heard trains and air smelled like we were by factories. Room had stained carpet/walls in the barhroom, hole in the back of the office chair and outdated decorations and a tiny TV. Quality of room = Motel 6 or Budget Inn...pretty clean/economical but not convention center standards.
Friendly and helpful staff! Very comfortable bed and a large room. Breakfast was good, it's complimentary so I wouldn't complain even if it wasn't good.
Wifi did not reach our floor (9th), but could access it when we were on the lower level.
Ease of arrival and ease of checking out
I think the breakfast as with all included breakfasts at hotel could be better quality
- the smell was bad everywhere - breakfast area was always dirty
Location is close and direct to Kaufman and Arrowhead stadium. Friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi, computer access, and parking. King room was decent size.
No microwave or mini fridge in King room. WiFi was slow.
It wasn't too far off the freeways for all of the places we visited.
The hotel definitely is in need of a rehab. the staff could have been more attentive to the breakfast. When we came down Saturday morning they were out of coffee and it took almost 30 minutes to get more. The waffle maker was not working properly. The attendant told me that you had to go through two cycles to get a good waffle and by that point it was overcooked. They have beautiful pottery displays in the corridor to the breakfast area but it looks like the glass has been cleaned with dirty rags so they were not nice to look at. The overall cleanliness of the facility was not the greatest. There was a stand alone fireplace in the breakfast area and it looked like someone tried to move it and the top lifted off and it was just left sitting like that with the top half off. Our friends room had a water leak from the commode in their bathroom. The bed runner in our room had stains on it or was just plain dirty. The rest of the bedding looked good however. should I go on?
Staff is very helpful.
Wifi didn't reach top floor
Comfy rooms, great staff!
The wifi didn't reach well on 9th floor
Good size room, good bedding with a guest laundry provided.
This hotel is a few miles from the city centre. It is rather tired and needs a complete renovation. The dining option was poor.
Where do I begin....every hallway to the room was a different odor. Was going to World Series first opening game and Hotels were hard to find. I found this Ramada and always remebered it when going to Worlds of Fun. Staff was fine but this Hotel was not up to my standards.Needs much needed attention. Sorry!
TV was ancient with poor reception. Bathroom still had hair in shower, on floor and on ceiling. Mold was on shower curtain and ceiling. Each day the hall had a different horrible smell. It wasn't near anyplace worth going to. Site said it was 6.1 miles from stadium. A lie. Cost me at least $40 to go anywhere. No shuttle to anywhere but game.
The staff graciously cancelled my reservation without penalty when they realized they could not meet my needs.
The hotel advertised an airport shuttle. They did not have staff available to drive; and if the driver was available it wasn't until later in the morning than I needed.
We were close to the activities that we were involved with.
That we couldn't use the pool. The day we tried to use the pool, it was dirty and very cold. I thought it should of been heated more. The room my kids stayed in had the popcorn ceiling and it was falling off.
Wifi didn't work. Had to switch rooms because TV was fuzzy. Pool was not heated and was freezing cold.
