Avoid this hotel

This hotel was the worst I have stayed in on our travels, the metal bed base frame sticks out about 2 inches all around the bed, both my husband and I kicked our toes several times

Location is good.

Hallway and elevator smells terrible, so did the room. Closet and behind furnature dust and dirt. Only 1 room lamp did work (i.e. 4 didn't).

OK for a nights stay. Clean and comfortable.

I found the staff friendly and accommodative.

The corrdor looked seedy and the stairs uninviting. I also thought for $124 a night (with tax), it was not worth the price.

The price was as quoted - that's about all.

First the grounds are old and not kept up. When we arrived, our reservation was for a King Non Smoking room and we were given a Double. The bedspread on one bed was badly stained and had holes which appeared to be cigarette burns. When we asked about another room, we were told that since we made the reservation on line that they could not do anything - no refund or room change.

The staff was pleasant. Coffee was ok.

Technically they do offer a "full" breakfast; however, it is all pre-packaged foods. Fruit salad from a can, pre-packaged biscuits, etc. The room is extremely old, dirty. Carpets are in dire need of repair. We felt extremely unsafe & in fact pushed the table & chair in front of the door as it did not appear secure even with all locks in place.

I did not appreciate the maid knocking on the door at 7 am ,we had a 1200 check out,i assume to clean the room,,,ahh the room,,it had an odor,the bath tub was dirty and the shower curtain was disgusting..ur so called breakfast was not to appetizing,,the eggs..the bagels were stale,,i did like ur waffles,,,anyway sorry we will never return.

The night guy Nigel was very nice and willing to help at all times.

The rooms smell of smoke for non smokers and the carpet needs to be replaced it could really use some fixing up. It's a very old hotel. The appliance need to be replaced in the rooms

We ended up not staying for the night. The stair case is very smelly, the elevator creaking, the room not very clean. Our air condition did not work initially.

Nothing. This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was filthy, run down, loud, the front desk staff was unresponsive to repeated requests to reduce the volume of music from their party room. We finally had to call the police to complain about the noise. The only thing I liked about this hotel was seeing it in my rear view mirror. I could not leave it soon enough and I will never stay in another Ramada Inn. The management apparently does not care about getting repeat business, as there were many other complaints posted, which I unfortunately only saw after we left.

When a business puts so little effort into an amenity such as this, they would be better off not offering it in the first place. I see it more as an insult to their lodgers than an enticement.

I did not like anything about it. It was just the only hotel within a reasonable driving distance to Virginia Tech's graduation. I should have slept in the car.

The hotel smelled like an ash tray, it was dirty, old and outdated, comfortors were stained with blood, the list goes on...

Rooms were dirty.

Das mit Abstand schlechteste Hotel bei unserer Amerikadurchquerung. Das Zimmer war schmutzig, hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch und die Einrichtung war heruntergekommen. Im angrenzenden hoteleigenen, nicht schallisolierten "Konferenzzentrum" fand eine Hochzeit statt. Der Lärm der falsch eingestellten Bässe war (von Nachmittags bis nach Mitternacht) unerträglich. Der Name Ramada hat uns völlig in die Irre geführt.

Good price and pet friendly.

Facilities are run down and in need of rehab.

Staff was nice.

Smelled musty, didn't feel clean, and was outdated.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The maintenance guy tried is best to fix the electrical problems in the room. Located very close to downtown.

This hotel is a dump! I cannot believe Ramada has its name on it... Not up to standards. I picked this hotel because it is close to downton where I had a work meeting. Other hotels close to the convention center where booked because of a convention. Much better idea: stay by the airport about 5 miles north of town close to the mall. This is a non exhaustive list of things wrong with the place: very run down, stair well smelled of urine, the lights in the room were not working, the phone did not work, the sheet were stained, the carpet and bedcover where filthy, the sink leaked making the carpet around the bathroom area damp, I reserved a nonsmoking room but there was none available so this room reeked, the bathroom had not been updated in years: bathtub peeling, ceiling tiles falling down, toilet not flushing. Save yourself: stay somewhere else!

Most aspects. The place is clearly past it's sell by date and needs closing.

staff got us rooms despite the booking not being on their computer

our booking.com reservation was not in their computer but they managed to find us rooms anyway
