The price is good for the qaulity of the room and the location is okay.

The staff was not so friendly when we asked for a crib for my baby, which is said available on the website. And when the crib fianlly came, it was a 'pack n' play'.

Room was clean and well cared for.

Over the shoulder directions at counter was distracting and seemed to speak of lack of confidence in employee. Water pressure was very poor and finding correct temperature at sink was a job. Shower was very small and had to step out to dry!

The beds very comfortable. They did a great job updating facility.

The spa needs to be resurfaced. Pool was not heated.

Quiet rooms, could not hear people inside the adjacent rooms.

Despite the large number of guests at the hotel, it was quiet. The bathroom was a good size. The room, carpet, and beds were all in good condition.

The air conditioner is noisy.

False advertising. Showed breakfast buffet. It was not and restaurant not inviting. Hotel is very old. Lots of truckers stay there. But for the price it was clean and comfortable.

I added an additional night prior to my arrival; however, when I got there, their system showed that I was scheduled for 2 nights instead of 3. The manager checked us in and didn't even bother to look into where the error occurred. He just added the extra night. I showed him my confirmation and he said that it doesn't mean anything. I would've liked to see him put more effort into his customer service. The room was clean, but the beds were really squeaky.

There's a motorcycle shop down the street on the front side of hotel. Motorcycles passing by can be quite loud. Location close to Air Force base and when the jets fly over they are loud. It's not the hotels fault but thought it was worth mentioning

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Very accessible location right off the freeway. Close to restaurants, shopping, beach and popular places to visit such as Sea World.

Hotel used to be "Sands" back in the '60's and is a bit dated, but overall has been kept up well and appears to have been updated over the years. Not that this was a bad thing, it gives you the feel of authentic San Diego with mature, lush, tropical landscaping with a bit of an older hotel structure.

Location: it is close to all major attractions, such as Sea World, Midway Museum, and Balboa park etc. The room, two queen bed room, is comfortable and clean.

When we was there the second day, there was an air force training in the evening. It was continuously noisy until 11:00 pm.

Very cost friendly and close to sea world and downtown. Love that the room had a mini fridge, microwave and iron. I forgot toothbrushes and they brought some up to me right away. Very friendly and attentive staff.

The shower head was not adjustable and sprayed straight toward the wall my poor six year old stood against the wall and the water was hitting the top of her head. I told the front desk and they addressed it right away.

Everything was good. We arrived tired and the young man at the front desk greeted us and helped us out quickly. He was smiling and made sure we knew where to go and what times their was dinner, breakfast and that their was also entertainment if we were interested

Even though it is not in the center of San Diego, it is easy to get attractions because of the proximity to highways. Our room was facing highway but we didn't have any difficulty in sleeping. It is not noisy at all. There is not much to explore in the area but if you just need a sleep to sleep and you are out whole day, then it is a perfect place.

Third bed was requested at the time of booking but they never had one.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It was close to many attractions and very budget friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Restaurant choices other than cajun food would have been a plus!

Good location and good value. Room was comfortable and good sized. The parking was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Poor internet service, the tv reception was below normal standard and the hot water was not hot, It took several minutes to get warm water making showers no fun.
