Area is ok in daytime, but sketchy people lurk outside at night. I was afraid to go from my car to the hotel. Side door security lock broken. Door is open 24/7 for anyone to enter unnoticed. Fridge didn't work & smelled rotten. Beds uncomfortable.
On a whole your hotel is OK, but I would try others in the price point first before returning(if I did.)
The roaches, the side door that didn't prevent outsiders from entering the building, the general condition of the building.....rundown and dumpy.
the staff was friendly...
the roach crawling out of the coffee maker when I was pouring the water in...
There were small, black biting insects in the bed.
Convenient to beach and restaurant.
Pool not working why we chose here to stay.
Old, Dirty, Noisy and Smelly
beds slept good quite at night good coffee
pool was closed - a big deal in mid summer breakfast area was not large enough for amount of people staying there- we could not eat breakfast because of this hotel room was dated and needed some cosmetic repairs
Extremely poor hygiene of the entire facility. Security appeared lacking. Many "thugs" and prostitutes hanging around the area. Listing this kind of facility on your web site makes me wonder whether or not to use booking.com for future accommodations.
The cleaning of the room was not thorough, dirty behind appliance and furniture. Hair dryer did not work. The breakfast area was very dirty and bagels thrown on the counter in open bags. A coffee cup was set out to be used by all for the waffle batter. No one visible to replenish items at the breakfast station. The hallways had the odor of an old facility. It had a sanitation rating of 96%!
Location was close to shopping & many resturant choices. Front desk staff were friendly & accommodating . The food for a family function was very good, also the catering staff were excellent.
The carpets needed cleaning very badly , both in public areas and my guest room. The supervisor was notified on Sunday 8-2 about my fall in the bathtub , due to slippery surface. The supervisor told clerk to refund one night of my stay, however it has been two weeks and I have not received a courtesy call to see how I am. Have been having some continued discomfort since the fall. Edna Kenner 410-448-2468.
I would never stay here again! This hotel was nasty and I wasted my money!
Clean linens and towels
Wifi sucked pool was closed bar or lounge closed continental breakfast wasn't the greatest and poor lighting outside of building and after hours locks did not work. Did not ask for identification when needing a new room key!!
Convience of location to all activities involved in during my family's trip.
Knowledge of booking staff who overcharged my credit card. Shortage of luggage carts which made my family have to make several trips back and forth to load vehicle at departure. Wi-fi only worked while standing near room door. Long lines to make waffles at breakfast due to only having one waffle maker available. Fruit was rotten being served for breakfast. Cleaning crew walking in room early at 11 when checkout was at 12.
The price I paid for a night and no pool. However you could get in your car and drive doen the street to a sister hotel to swim. Then drag your wet kids back to your room? Should have gotten a discount for the pool being closed!
All the other front desk staff was polite and very helpful....they informed us that even thou the pool was out of service we ciyld go down the street and use their sister company pool. Over all not bad for the price. Room was clean however it smelled bad the first day.
The front desk receptionist Jonathan was rude his whole shift. The lights in our room went out and his response was I've already been notified in a rude tone.....Then we asked him about when the pool was re-opening and his response was I don't know they haven't informed me in a rude tone. The hotel wasn't bad but it definitely could use a remodel interior and exterior.
Breakfast was poor
The doors wouldn't work. You couldn't open them with the key. The refrigerator didn't work and smelled moldy when you opened it.
Poor air conditioning, no wifi, and the room was not clean.
The air was not all that great in the room so it was kinda of hot while we slept
The carpeting was old and dirty, the room was musty and did not smell good, the bedding was old and frayed, the shower curtain didn't smell good, everything froze in the refrigerator and a can of soda exploded.
The AC worked great. Easy access to beach and downtown Wilmington with 10 min drive to each.
Breakfast. Side entrance doors did not lock. (Unsafe) Musty smell. Pool was full or trash and very cloudy(too much clorine)
