There is a bar and lounge...which is why we annually choose this hotel. Also, it's in walking distance to a couple of restraunts. That is benificial for those of us who have consumed adult beverages.
A group of friends travel annually to Charlotte for Christmas gathering for "just the guys". I am medically retired and on disability. I used a discount booking site to book my room. My friends who are better suited finiancially booked straight through the hotel. They got nice rooms, and I got an older room with no upgrades. Old Style TV in what seemed like an somewhat abandonded part of the hotel. Also, this was ACC Championship weekend and at check-in time, there was only ONE clerk working. There were approx. 120 people ahead of me. Lucky for me, I just went and sat in my friend's room until the line went down. Even though my card had been charged fully for my nights stay and already DEDUCTED from my account, I had to provide another form of payment because I used a DEBIT card to reserve the room. So, esstentially I was charged twice for the same room. I am patiently waiting for a refund of the initally charged amount to be credited back to my account.I finally got checked in to my room about 4:45.
The front desk staff was very rude to everyone she came in contact with.
I liked the fact that there was a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel available to and from. The location was pretty good also because there was food within walking distance or you can have it delivered. (24hr International House Of Pankcakes right next door)
The hotel needs a bit of updating but for what I needed the stay for I didn't mind.
The hotel has seen happier days. I was not comfortable with the quality of room but think it may have been waiting for a renovation. The waitress at bar in evening and her sidekick cook were the bright lights of the visit with great personality and quality of food.
The room was claustrophobic (inside overlooking atrium) and air conditioner made a terrible noise that kept coming on/off and disturbing what sleep I had. Noisy kids in hall that seemed to go on for a long time. I was trying to keep dog from barking because of noise. Do not recommend
it was close to everything .sorrounded by entertainment
being on renovated floor. and desk clerk was rude
I was impressed with how quickly the manager (Ian)reversed the unauthorized payment towards my card-after we'd paid with cash upon checking in. He was very attentive to my complaints and seemed extremely apologetic of our experience -such a nice guy. Also, how fast the maintenance guy had us moved to a roach infested room (that I'm sure he had no knowledge of) with blood stained walls -after a mirror that was not properly anchored- crashed to the floor.
We weren't impressed with the huge roach smashed to the bedroom wall and left there for patrons to swoon over and admire. There were also yellow, crusty splatters that resembled semen stains on the bathroom floor. Not to mention the droplets of blood on the bathroom wall. We also didn't fancy the 2 baby roaches that came out to play before we decided to leave.
Staff was friendly
Did not keep room stocked with enough towels and wash cloths at one point house keeping left no towels or wash cloths in our room. There were stains on the comforters. If there are stains on the comforters and they can't be removed throw them away.
The room was very comfortable. The quietness, the atrium seemed to quiet noises but than we were there at a very slow time. For the price I paid I will return
1)It was a little confusing getting to the property for sync gps coming from 77 S. 2) No real access for room service. Eating very limited. 3) I think there have been recent updates and just a few things over looked. The tv was older did not have the best resolution. Phone had a different rm than which i was in. just little things. Needing a lid from my coffee maker took sometime for someone to bring it up.
The beds where soft and comfy
The layout of motel was poor the staff had bad attitudes rooms wasn't clean went in to room with used rags and towels. Bed not made properly it smelled of marijuana and cigarettes and prostitutes hang out side of the place and in hallways
The hotel shares a wall with another hotel, so if you miss the sign, you go all around the property. The hotel is under construction, there is an atrium that is abandoned and hot due to the air being turned off for construction. The trek to my room was long and confusing and the hallway was taped in, giving it a haunted, deserted feel. I booked for two nights, but left early because it was so bad.
HOTEL WAS GOOD LOCATION TO PANTHER STUDIUM
THE AIR CONDITIONER IN ROOM MADE TO MUCH NOISE WHEN RUNNING
Had to change rooms due to cigarette smoke. Under construction.
The stay was unpleasant due to the renovation being done. The room that was assigned had an unpleasant smell, the blanket was full of holes, and the coffee pot was already used and dirty. The bathroom was better than the room except for there being no hot water
The room spelled like mold, and we immediately requested a refund. The manager never once apologized or asked why we wanted a refund. I understand that remodeling was going on but the management should care more about their guest. An apology or slight concern would have changed my mood greatly.
Under construction Bad water damage in room we stayed in Bad customer service
Location and convenience
I checked in at Ramada desk, but was directed through a hallway to a Clarion. Gentleman's Club a few steps away.
Space, cleanliness, complete with kitchen.
The pool and fitness center wasn't open. We had to go to clarion for use if these things . The room was miles away.
The room only!
Your website allowed me to select a check in time of 1400hrs, even though the hotel doesn't permit check in until 1800hrs
It smelled damp and dank, it was understaffed, it just looked totally beat up.
The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The facility is in need of upgrading. The photo of the foyer/registration area on the Booking.com site must be from many, many years ago. There is no food service (or customer service!) to speak of even though there is a dinning room/lounge. The bartender was also the waiter and server and very slllooooooowwww; so I left to find dinner elseware! At breakfast, I was informed that more than half of the items on the menu were unavailable.
