Rooms are really old, smells bad and staffs are not polite. We asked for a vaccoom twice and never got it! We gave up as it never came...
The staff was always helpful and the room was kept very clean. Great location to restaurants and other shops.
The rooms need to be updated urgently.
Excellent location! Great staff!
I have allergies and am intolerant to fragrances. The lobby area and elevators seemed to be infused with coconut perfume
friendly staff. available breakfast
musty smell in room
Close to shops in Hollywood. Included Breakfast
No hot water untill 08:15am. Called front desk nothing was done about it. Room was smelly and ceilling moldy. Pictures are very different from actual room.
Had to upgrade as the room provided at the rate through booking.com was not very good. Upgraded to their mini suite - if was funky but room was large and bed was nice.. Older facility that needs some work bu location is great.
The hotel was clean and was an older Florida motel. Pool was excellent. It was clean and new and warm. Rooms were dated but bed was comfy and rooms were very quiet. I was surprised were I open the door and the housekeeping staff were talking loudly outside my door and I did not hear them until I opened the door. Trolley was excel any to the beach
Parking was super tight but to be expected in a downtown hotel
the fact that 1) the toilet bowl allowed my private parts to be touched by the water level below, 2) air quality eminating possibly -from overdue unchanged airfilters caused my sinuses to act up, 3) out door room was reminiscent of tops $100 per nigh rooms no more
Neat how the center had places to hang out dock seating.
Garage was fairly small and parking was not marked well so you tend to get blocked in a spot by other guest or hard to get out of spots.
Location excellent. Staff excellent. Price is excellent. It's not on the beach but is only 2 miles away. Ride bike to beach. Its nice. Great area. 50 restaurant and bars right outside your hotel door. Loved this hotel.
Loved the location right in the heart of town with lots of restaurants.
Felt that the place was run down and needed a major refitting, pretty expensive for state of the facilities. The breakfast was not up to what I would expect from Ramada or for the price of the room compared to other hotels I've stayed in.
Bed was comfortable
- Most rooms facing towards a cocktail bar in the center; felt like in the middle of a college party. Bring earplugs - Careless management; almost half of the lights not working in room; alarm sounded at 5:30 because staff forget to reset from last visitor - Needs renovation; not really dirty, but considerably aged (parking lot / garage flair) - Treadmill in fitness room appears risky
Very Noisy overall.
Rug needed to be cleaned or replaced. Door did not make me feel secure. Needs major updating.
Location was good. Easy to access.
The rooms look old. Door didn't lock.
1-2 Star Hotel. Very old building. ? clean beds. Rotten carpet.
Location. Close to town. Pool area. Staff.
the wall murals The nooks for sitting The lounge areas They even have framed art on the walls of the parking garage. The flowers everywhere
cant think of a thing that bothered ME, but this venue is a work in progress and old which may not be to everyone's liking.
Good location. That's pretty much it.
Where do I start? The internet is terrible, almost useless. I wasted one hour with their third-party tech support, even though I knew the problem was in their end, not mine (I was having the same problem with two computers, two tablets, and four phones). Their staff was pretty much oblivious to the problem. The hotel is in very bad shape. Carpets on the outside means every time it rains (and it does a lot in the region) you are walking on a squishy puddle. Not to mention the sensation of dirtiness. The carpet on the room is nasty. On the first day I made the mistake of walking barefoot, and as soon as I got to the shower I noticed that my feet were black. We had a cockroach in our room. The drawers in the cabinet under the TV were falling apart. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very disappointed.
Ramada Downtown Hollywood is right in the middle of the action. Amazing night life in downtown Hollywood! Any kind of restaurant, bar, etc. you might want and a great independent theater.
My credit card company issued a new card due to the Home Depot security problem. The hotel couldn't accept the fact that I had paid in July with the same card which now had a new number. She credited back the old card number and charged the new one, instead of just saying, yes you paid in advance. Petty bureaucracy.
The kindness of the employees in that hotel, active and professional employees.
I don't have anything to say that I disliked
Neat atmosphere. Was like stepping back 50 years as far as style and exterior architecture! Easy access to beaches, or travelling down HW1.
Parking! Paid for the parking garage. Very small garage. Lot of stuff blocking parking ability. Received a "ticket" three nights in a row, even when 1 night we were told where to park. There was no charges for the "tickets", but still annoying.
The location was really perfect. Easy to get to Miami and not in a busy area. Very beautiful beaches in Hollywood. Parking garage in the hotel.
They were rebuilding the pool.
