The staff was trying to be helpful, they had a very good attitude and tried to do the best they could with what they had.
1. Room purchased online as "double" meant "two people in one bed". Only a small king bed. We had to purchase double bed bedroom and pay 150% more just to get it to be the standard "double". This is falsehood in advertising because "double" in the rest of the industry means "two beds" not "two people in a tiny bed"! 2. The remote for the TV did not work 3. After paying $150 for a "double" room, we got ready to go to bed and the top sheet on one of the beds WAS NOT THERE! The bed had been made WITHOUT a sheet! We had to ask for a bed sheet at 10pm. Unbelievable. 4. We requested late check out and were told we could check out at 1pm but at 12:30 when we came back to freshen up and check out, the room keys would not work and we had to go downstairs to get working keys 5. No phone in the room to call the front desk Felt like a total rip-off!
We booked the Ramada for four nights as it was a holiday weekend. We wanted to visit the Everglades and Key west and the location is perfect for both. Both the receptionists treated us as if we were their Mom & Dad, everything was great. Not up to the Ramada standard in Europe but have found we need to lower our standards quite a bit for the USA.
The price was much higher than it was worth but we had a great stay on a holiday weekend.
The reception staff were great. The free wifi was fast. The shower worked well with hot water. Free on site parking.
Very noisy with other guest walking by. Could hear a toilet flushing during the night from next door. Breakfast was served on styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery!!!??? Not much variety just some pastries, few bits of fruit, cereals and a waffle iron. There were eggs and sausages too (but they did not look appetising). The bed was not very comfortable for two adults (queen size) the blankets were too thin and the comforter had big holes and patches in it! We did not ask for a room move as there was a big sign on the front door when arrived that said 'Sold Out'. We drive past a Holiday Inn Express and regret not spending the little extra money going to go stay there as it looked tons better from the outside.
There is nothing to like about this hotel
The 100 year old bed and dilapidated furnishings, overpriced
easy to get to keys / everglades pub next to motel had great band
breakfast cleanliness (or lack of it) no milk for tea
Good place to visit Everglades and Key Largo/Key West. Comfortable beds, breakfast.
Crowded at breakfast. Price - the same level hotels in others parts of Florida are cheaper.
We walk in and the room has a gross dirty odor. There is a pee stain on the couch, very unappealing. We also find long hairs in the shower on the wall. There is dirt and mold around the hand rails in the shower as well. The complementary breakfast was a joke. I know it was free but gross.
Location is good
No meal, a little expensive
It was an ok room
AC did not work. Hot all night. Did not sleep. AC made a racket.
Good location for exploring the everglades. Everglades visitor information centre across the street. Near Robert Is Here - famous fruit and veg store. Hotel room good. Power cut handled well.
Breakfast on plastic disposable plates a step too far.
They failed to warn me that they were renevating rooms, so construck on noise was a problem with getting rest as I was on nightshade and trying to sleep during the day.
It was a mess there - old toilet bowls at the parking area. Just dirt everywhere. As we opened the door to look at the rooms - we found a very dirty carpet and a "funny" smell... I would not even let a pig live there..............
The carpet was dirty the pillow was hard there wasn't any garage can in the room. Just a uncomfortable night
very friendly personal, nice rooms and pool, worth for money!
The only thing I would recommend to change is breakfast, it was awful
Greeted by Mercedes at front desk, very professional, friendly, and accommodating! Made sure every aspect of our stay was to our satisfaction. Location and access to highways are excellent. Newer, very comfortable beds. Clean rooms and outside of facility. Nice pool. Worked out well staying here and traveling to Key West.
Crowded at breakfast. Rooms need more updating. Low water pressure.
The pool was very dirty
me gusto todo very good.
quick, friendly response to all requests
I was travelling on my own and looking for a stop over on the way to the Florida keys. In these circumstances I'm not too fussy about where I stay as long as it is reasonably priced and clean. The place is conveniently located, on the main route, walking distance to a selection of restaurants and beside and outlet mall.
The place is a little tired looking ( could do with a make over ) but it was clean and the rooms were reasonably well equipped.
I liked the breakfast and comfort and cleanliness of bed.
Decor was a little tired.
Convenient to highway
Breakfast was aweful and only toast and cereal good to eat. Found gel in drawers so was not cleaned properly.
Perfect location if you're coming from the east coast of Florida and are headed for Key West
I like is clean
Everything was ok
room was nice size, clean and comfortable.
the a/c unit was very load and sounded like a alarm.
