The service and the room where fantastic.
The whirlpool was disgusting. Black rim all around and lots of hair in it. The pool was freezing not heated and also very dirty. We where very disappointed that we could not use both. It was very dirty and unsanitary.
the people that work there were very friendly And helpful
the air conditioning filter was dirty I had to clean it out
-bed was comfortable -spacious room -having a fridge & microwave in room -continental breakfast well supplied
-toilet too low and I am only 5'1" - I can imagine what tall people think -external banister was very wobbly (wood seemed to be rotten) thus not providing good support to go up the stairs -phone out of order in first room -closet door fell in first room
Friendly staff, convenient to many attractions
Close to highway,and sightseeing
The room was oddly configured. The sink (normally in the bathroom) was next to one bed. The bathroom was dark and cramped. There was a horrible aroma in the lobby, possibly coming from an attached resteruant. The free continental breakfast was next to nothing, poorly maintained. Do not concider this breakfast a perk for staying here.
Room was very clean.
Toilet very low and needed to flush twice. Wished for a balcony!Noisy patrons at night
sink was outside the bathroom, and only one sink. There was a terrible odor in the hallway. Also I didn't like the way the receptionist dealt with my call when I called for my husband. It was an emergency call.
good location away from the business and easy to get to places, well organized, staff willing to please, the bed was very good and the bathroom set up was super. loved the soap! pool was nice and hot tub
The parking lot had some repair problems. Some repairs going on in the back of the hotel. Not bad though just bumpy!
the staff was very attentive and legitamately cared about your comfort. For an old hotel, they have done an excellent job so far with the renovations and it was extremely comfortable.
The staff at the front desk were accomodating
The building needed much repair, the hallway was hot and air circulation was non existant with open windows on hot days. The pool was dirty and littered with pool equipment on the seating areas. The cleaning staff was surley and refused to move away from the elevator to let occupants out. The Laundry area and the elevator had mould growing in the vents. The room furnishings were recovered over worn out old furniture. I had to extract my wife after she sunk deep into a chair. The TV was an unworkable CRT type and did seem to receive a few channels (Certainly not cable, maybe antenna) The tub drained so slow that the shower turned out to be a tub bath. Breakfast was repulsive and when we asked for Ketchup the owner snarled and said NO! The breakfast room was well worn and reminded me of my old High School Caffeteria.49.95 would have been the value.
The clean room.
Great value Great restaurant Great location Great staff Nice rooms Awesome continental breakfast
Hot tub needs work ..
I loved the bed and the feather pillows and the awesome price I got on the place for 2 days, also loved that it was very local right off the highway, kids loved the pool and hotub as well.
I hated the very rude manager in charge of the continental breakfast area which argued with me in front of other customers about making my children more eggs and said he was going to make them and then never made them, when I complained to the front desk about him nothing major was done about it either.
Very convenient location, clean room, good service (especially during the breakfast )
Beds were hard as rock, the pool was nasty bot clean at all thos place smells, rooms are dirty, the breakfast was horrible! Eggs out of a plastic bag! Ew! And this place is really old fashion from the carpets to the old tvs. I wouldnt recommend staying here!
We liked everything except being woken at 3:30 AM when the dumpsters were being emptied outside our balcony and the noise from a parked "18" wheeler van parked outside our balcony.
People were smoking in our hallway even though we were in a nonsmoking wing. The whole hall smelled of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Our son has asthma so we immediately reported this to front desk. They agreed with us that it was definitely a strong smell, but said they couldn't do anything because they couldn't pinpoint which room it was coming from. Also, anyone could get in the side doors, even with no key.
Not much. It was close to Mystic.
The lighting in the room was poor. The bathroom lighting was poor, the fan was broken and the entire bottom of the door looked like it was rotting away. The pool area looked as if it could use a good cleaning and the breakfast was average at best.
Close to Mystic and attractions.
Unclean Run-down facility Poor customer service
This place is old, smells bad, humidity smell, I wouldn't stay again. Sorry
Easy to get to. Surprisingly quiet after seeing all the children in rooms around us.
Pool and breakfast were a little lack-luster. But still enjoyable.
close to 95
pricey for average hotel
The location was close to many of the places in the area I wanted to visit. The rooms were comfortable. They accommodated my request for adjoining rooms.
The security was not the greatest - the back door was left ajar my entire stay. The halls smelled like cigarettes even though it is a smoke free establishment. The ice machine was broken. The balconies are not really balconies - they are small extensions from the room.
Location was good, staff friendly
Building is old, elevator creaky, laundry facilities on site but they had no detergent to buy, high hot tub chlorine levels made our eyes water, balcony door didn't lock, really needs an update.
the pool ,the location
the sauna in the bathroom and no life gaurd in the pool area
