Here is the email sent several weeks ago but they have still not replied. As I was plugging my Cell phone into a dubious looking 4 way socket my hand touched the back of the fridge and as a result I sustained a minor burn which caused me discomfort for the next day or so. There were no warning signs indicting there was any risk. 2) one bed was made one was not 3) There was a pile of dirty bed sheets on the seat in the corner of our room. 4) there was no soap, shampoo, shower gel 5) The shower barely worked. Upon checking out at 0400hrs I informed the young man at the desk (I believe his name was Richard) this young man was very dismissive and did not even lift his head up to look at me when I was explaining these things to him. He stated "I'll let housekeeping know" I asked him if he could please let the manager know and he mumbled he would. Not once did he look at me, instead he just dismissed me very very rudely so much so that another guest commented on this on the shuttle bus. I have stayed in Ramada Hotels numerous times before but have never experienced anything like this before. The girl was very nice when I checked in as was Liz in the Restaurant/bar. However, at this present moment in time I do not know if I would stay in another Ramada hotel again due to this terrible experience at the end of our vacation. The room basically looked as if someone started cleaning it and had left to do something else and forgot about returning to finish.
Breakfast-wake up by a knock on the door
Reception service-wasn't very good-broken alarm/no phone wake up/shuttle bus from airport long wait one time in 4 trips
Clerk demanding deposit.. on the website it didn't mention anything about a deposit
Horrible customer service !
Very large room and bed, near the airport, best shuttle bus drivers, include breakfast.
they don't have flip-flops, and the receptionist even don't know what they are.
Restaurant staff friendly and fast.
Outside areas of hotel looked very bad. Hadn't been cleaned up in quite a while. Some work needs done to the building. Front desk clerk not very friendly. Phone systems not working? Nobody answered at front desk or to order food.
Shuttle to airport
Decor very dated
The hotel is in a convenient location with easy access to IAH. The bar is decedent with a good service
The condition is pathetic and one that never expected from Ramada. There is some upgrading work going on and.swimming pool is under maintenance. Rooms are shabby and restaurant only open few hours. Finally cockroaches in bathroom was final nail on the experience.
Distance and convenience from the airport
Broken faucet knob, not working outlet for the coffee maker and hair dryer. The pool is closed. And wont even allow a late check out without paying for a full day, but the guy gave us until 1pm Instead of 12.
The only good thing about this place is that it's close to the airport.
The room smelled of mildew, the carpet was stained and dirty, and the knobs in the shower didn't work. The pool water was bright green from an algae bloom. Filthy hotel in desperate need of renovation.
free & safe parking proximity to IAH
Fitness center: only half of the equipment worked swimming pool: green & dirty water don't go for breakfast one minute late
Price was good compared to other hotels close to the airport. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and free wifi. There is a Burger King and gas station mini-mart within walking distance.
There is no elevator in the building. So if you have a heavy bag and get a room on the second floor you will be dragging it upstairs. The wifi was barely strong enough to support Skype chat. If you don't turn on the video while chatting it "should" be ok. The restaurant was supposed to open at 5pm for dinner service but they got it going about one hour late because the person running it was late to work.
The price was good and the location if you need a hotel close to the airport. The free shuffle to the airport was very handy!
The location is far to the centre of town it cost around 40$ with a taxi. Our room smelled dump with a slight sent of mold but if you can deal with a bad smelling room it's ok.
Shuttle Service and drivers were very accommodating.
It was shabby, except for reception area. I was the only one in the bar and in the dining room. It is close to the airport but in a very isolated area. Without a car you are trapped and must use their restaurant (?) and bar.
Very clean rooms And lots of nice guess
No Wi-Fi or ice machine near rooms because of construction.
Near to IAH and acceptable rate!
The staff was good, the lobby itself was nice.
The a/c systems were terrible. Had to turn it to the coldest setting just to get it decent enough to sleep in without sweating. Through the halls it seems they have the same problem. Its hot. The crown molding in the bathroom was made from styrofoam, and it was obvious due to the chipping of it and terrible paint job. The breakfast was bad. I was excited to have some waffles and was very disappointed to find some grey looking breakfast sausage and some questionable scrambled eggs. The overall feel was that they made it look nice to walk into, but didn't care about the rooms or comfort. They got it backwards.
The value for what I paid was great. Location was very convenient. Liked having a washer and dryer available.
Renovations were going on, sliding doors were bolted. Front of hotel was very nice, freshly painted. Backside was rundown, pool was dirty. Booked the hotel because of the balcony/sliding door and was not informed it would not be available at time of booking.
Convenient to airport; easy access; quiet
Little worn and outdated, but for the price, can't be beat.
Nice place. Comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the piano and WiFi.
Restaurant service, terrible and slow. Also, that I was charge double for the stay, first in advance, when made the reservation online and then at check out. Problem got resolved after all.
Pool was large and well maintained, but the whole hotel was older. Clean, but not fresh.
Internet was down for nearly the entire time I was there.
The location was excellent for my business trip
There where no ice machine and
The hotel was dirty and the room was in very bad need of renovation - very old and tired
