Its a bit old looking..breakfast was just basic and overpriced compared to the service
Good location, comfort and clean
The last time we stayed the room was much nicer.
Smallest room ever! But good enough for sleeping! We had a room with a queen bed and there was just enough room for the bed.
The shower had great water pressure. The bathroom was large considering the rest of the room. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good for continental. Coffee = excellent.
noise!!!!!!! even the street is not the central of the city, but it still very noise even it's midnight.
ten mins walk to subway and the famous Shake shack burger.
The wifi didn't work and the cable flickered (unwatchable) on the digital channels. I called about the wifi to no avail. Oh well.
Comfy room and bed. Very clean. Small room but perfect if you aren't spending much time in the hotel. Which you shouldn't in NYC.
The free breakfast was only ordinary. The food was lukewarm and often in short supply.
Room are well-appointed ant the bed in our room was VERY comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful; the young lady staffing the breakfast area was wonderful!
They only have two elevators, so if you happen to be on a higher floor, be prepared to wait.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cold air was flowing through the window during the night. Air heater was ridiculously loud. So either had a very cold night or very noisy night with dry air, this got better with warmer weather. Free Wi-Fi was mostly non-working, I had to call wifi techsupport by myself (minus points for staff) and that helped only for a while. Staff tried to sell us some new york pass which was obviously less efficient (more expensive with a lot of uninteresting attractions for us) than the one we planned for (new york city pass). Apart from that, one of the staff members looked like he was drunk in the morning. Also pronunciation could be improved. Breakfast was very poor (muffins, pancakes, yogurt, apples and bananas), no vegetable, other fruit, ham, cheese, bread, also for such a big hotel the breakfast room was very small. Access cards rendered non-working 2 times, we had to exchange them multiple times to get a working set.
Bed was very comfortable. Staff was relatively helpful. Location is very good
Location is practical when working at the United Nations. Room is of decent size (by Manhattan standards). Room temperature control is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is speedy. Free breakfast is not luxurious, but does the trick (nice selection of bagels!). Couple of nice restaurants nearby (including excellent Japanese Mishima across the street).
The room and bathroom were very small
Friendly and helpful staff
They shouldn't even say they have brkfst included...better setups at any Super8 in any rundown town. Insult at the price. Otherwise, fair value but better options for the price in many across the board locations.Chainstor
Good bedding, Clean setting. Quiet nights. Good location.
The only downside to this hotel is the room was too cold and I couldn't get the heater to work.
Harry on the reception desk was very helpful, friendly and kind to me, which I was especially grateful for because I'd had to leave my daughter behind and travel alone. The only downside to this hotel is the room was too cold and I couldn't get the heater to work.
city noise didn't get quiet until :1:30am
The bed super comfortable... The room was clean
Not used to city noise at night. Chalked it up to part of the NYC experience though.
Free breakfast, coffee in room, walking distance to Penn Station, Greenwich village, Chinatown, and other attractions. Subway close to get you to attractions in other parts of city. Felt safe.
Staff were a little hit and miss - some were lovely but others pretty grumpy.
The Ramada Eastside is in a fantastic location if you're a tourist wanting to sightsee around New York. Situated within walking distance of the Empire State Building, Times Square, Macy's, it's absolutely ideal for getting around to the hotspots. The breakfasts were perfectly fine if not spectacular (a selection of bagels, cereals, toast, fruit etc) and the room itself was decent. The beds are a little hard but to be honest as a place to crash it's ideal. Ask for a room as high up in the building as possible; we did and were lucky enough to be given a top floor room on the side of the building which presented a view of the Chrysler Tower and Empire State Building - amazing, especially when lit up at night. There's also free, reliable Wifi which was a real plus - and a TV, although don't go to New York to watch TV - go outside!
The room was really small. The bathroom was extremely small.
The location was convinient for my stay. The place I went out to for a birthday event was right around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
The only bad experience was the last day, when the person behind the front desk offered to arrange a taxi to get us to the airport. The "taxi" turned out to be someone´s (shabby) private car; it wouldn't have been a big deal had it not been for the fact that it charged us more than an official taxi.
Nice location, three blocks from the nearest metro station. Comfortable, good space in the rooms, includes breakfast (even if basic).
Wi-fi either intermittent or didn't work
Location, plentiful breakfast, left luggage facility
The staff didn't seem very welcoming or to like their jobs at all.
I liked that the wifi was free and that the business center computers were Macs.
Less option in breakfast.
Room is clean and TV programs are good.
Perfect location, amazing bed, helpful and friendly staff.
Nice room, friendly stagg
Good location Breakfast provided Reasonable price
The shower did not work. Imagine waking up having to go to work and not being able to take a shower. The bath work but who's going to take a bath in a hotel? They gave me a smoking room even though I requested non-smoking and it was very smoky.
