The room was quiet and clean
Updating should be more complete, parts were still pretty shabby. Only one icemaker on first floor only. Breakfast was quite a disappointment, hardly anything but bagels and cold cereal. If it had not been at such a good rate probobly would not have stayed, but after we did not as bad as we first thought. Ok to stay just to sleep and continue trip.
Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. Bed was comfortable and most of our room had been updated.
The condition of the hotel. This hotel needs a complete top-to-bottom remodel. The laundry is foreboding.
There is much need of repair to parts of the facility. I noticed a broken out window on the top floor. The interior was clean but care worn. The parking lot was extremely poor. Not all of the lights worked and it was like driving on the moon. The continental breakfast came from the world's smallest continent. Even though there is a restaurant in the facility it was not operational. There was construction going on all around and it made getting to and from the hotel difficult.
They were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm. They had all of the expected appointments of a hotel that was built mostly for over-nighters. We went to Elyria for a relative's retirement party. There isn't much to choose from there. When we stayed there was a pool tournament that weekend. We heard no noise or rowdiness even though the affair was very large. They must have had 50+ pool tables. Checking in and out was easy and I didn't feel gouged for the experience.
Dirty and run down. We left after one night and went across the way to Hampton Inn. Paid 4x the price but it was worth it to get out of that dump.
Only 50 bucks
Very minor things like one Non functioning wall outlet for lamp Tub drain did not match up with tub Ceiling appeared to had a water leak and patch job was non-professionally done
Cost**** WiFi Very Comfortable Cleanliness Very quiet and calm Heat worked great No spots on carpet on walls Mall location Friendliness of the frontdesk staff on thanksgiving day*****
Breakfast buffet was skimpy and no water available Hallways not as clean as the rooms
A bit on the noisy side... The room across the hall was playing there guitars till about 2 am... It was alright though... At least I can say they played well... And if I had to get u early the next day that would be s different story :)
The room was supposed to be 70 a not and was billed on my debit card for 93, not happy at all
Service was poor
Access somewhat confusing from rt 57 all else good
Didn't know of the breakfast wasn't told upon check in, and didn't see it Didn't when I looked at amenities online. So that was disappointing. Bed linens didn't get changed, just made the bed, washcloths were not replenished, and when I called to get more for my shower at 8 am I was today that when housekeeping got in they would bring it to me. The remote only changed the channel, not volume not power. Only Channel control.
I liked the easy access of the room, I would have loved the closeness of the ice machine and vending had it worked...... staff was awesome.
most uncomfortable bed and pillows. puddle of water on entrance floor late at night is a huge fall risk in poorly lighted area.
location. room was clean. shabby building. no maintenance on exterior. needs a facelift desperately.
This is an old establishment & it shows. You walk in to a poorly fluorescent lighted lobby. My room was in the lower part, farther from the main entrance. There's no secure access to that area. Those doors are open all the time! Being in the 1st floor didn't make me feel safe. The room was large, but it was dirty looking. That carpet has had what looked like a thousand marathons walked on! I stayed 2nts & no one came to clean the room. The pillows were smaller than sofa cushions & it had a thin sheet with a thin blanket. You can hear everyone coming & going. I'd never stay there again!
Easy access to highway. I could set the room temperature at my liking with no problem. Didn't have the breakfast, so can't say. If leaving early, u get coffee that has been sitting possibly all night, but it's hot. I saw a large outside pool area, which i imagine would be nice in the summer. I saw a room with pool tables.
Hotel is in serious need of remodeling. Wall dirty, paper peeling. Lighting in halls drab dreary . Carpeting in halls dirty and in need of cleaning. Tub fixtures were coming off the wall because the caulking was all broken, tub faucet dripped. Parking lot full of pot holes. Looks like no revocations or maintenance done in 25 yrs
Staff was pleasant. Location was accessible to where I needed to be.
woke up with a sore back. Since we were visiting both Oberlin and Cleveland I may have picked a location closer to the middle between those two locations.
Front desk clerk pleasent and cooperative., location close to restaurants and shopping.Good rest place after visiting Oberlin and before Cleveland
The facility is dirty and run down. The elevator was stuck on the fifth floor in the morning and we has to take the stairs to leave.
Cleanliness and maintenance. All trash bins on property )outside, lobby, etc) were overflowing with garbage; faucets leaked and had little water pressure; etc
Location was convenient to highway and to other restaurants and mal
The chairs in the rooms were heavily soiled with I can't imagine what. Didn't feel comfortable in sitting on them, pretty gross.
The room was in fine shape for the most part, a good value
Bundles of cords tucked under furniture...fire hazard. TV broken, and NO discount given. Front desk staff was fairly rude. Not EVER staying there again.
First floor on mall side. The room was fine but hallway was run down. The 2 nights I was there there were some guys sitting on floor in the hall just hanging around. That was a bit unsettling. The lighting outside was almost non existant. Only one if the walkway lights for the whole side if bldng was on! It was scarey. Side entrance door slams shut loudly
Front desk girls were nice. They resolved my room situation quickly too.
It was visible from the highway but there was not one sign directing you to the road to Ramada It was 4:30 in the morning,, not one lstreet light, construction was being done Hampton Inn had a sign with arrow!
Staff were professional, courteous and willing to please.
