The affordable price and location to the Path Train. Staff is always friendly & polite and a decent breakfast buffet
It would be nice for them to upgrade the tv channels
Good hotel, with good service, comfortable bed, quiet room, facilities in good condition. Conveniently situated, just a 7 minute walk from the PATH station, which gives access to Manhattan in approximately 20-25 minutes to the 33th street and 15 minutes to World Trade Center.
Small area for breakfast. Some unpolite guests take some food (such as donoughts and fruit) with them when they leave the area, leaving without them to other guests. It is ok to take some piece, but no finishing the supplies.
Beds were good, microwave in room with fridge. Breakfast was excellent the. The staff was wonderful excellent wonderful help explaining how to get around Jersey City and New York.
Wifi bad connections Lack of pool Parking, should be included with price of room and allow for in and out priviledges.
The location of this hotel is the reason I chose to stay there, it's just five minutes walking distance to the PATH journal square station, this is AWESOME!!!
The environment of the hotel nearby is not so good, I felt like it's not safe as it appears. Price is a little bit high, but the service the staffs gave were really good.
Very near to railways station. Good breakfast
There is no drinking water felicity. Vendor machines not working properly
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff at front desk friendly.
Outside streets dirty People hanging laying on the ground around subway Elevator taking too long And small Breakfast muffins were dry
Near by indian street and walkable distance to journal square. Easy access to NY and Manhattan.
They doesn't have their own parking facilities.
- 7 minutes walk to Path Station Journal Square - spontanious upgrade to a deluxe room at arrival - kitchen with coffeemachine, fridge, microwave - aircondition (we don´t needed it) - quiet area with many restaurants nearby - good breakfast - free transfer to the Airport every hour in the daytimes - friendly stuff - free coffee all day - they are renovating the rooms just now We enjoyed our stay at Ramada. The Location is good for trips to New York City - and it is absolutely cheaper than hotels directly in Manhatten. We would choose the Ramada again.
- to much waste at the breakfast, like often in amerika. Please change this for the enviroment. Thanks.
Bldg. though old but effort has been made to Modernise
Window type aircon. Was difficult to use due to curtains and breakfast was very ordinary and cheap. People were contesting for seats.
Good location. Close to path station. Very close to shopping and Indian restaurants. Quite a safe location. Staff service was great and they were quite helpful and understanding.
Small toilets and wireless not upto the mark. No ac in adjoining room.
The proximity to the PATH for journey into NY. The size of the room and facilities within the room
The breakfast room was far too small, it got very busy and in the small space people were knocking into each other, and there were no places to sit to eat breakfast in a pleasant environment.
fridge in the room
small pillows, no parking
Location Price Clean
No Parking in Hotel premises AC probably switched off after sometime Red blanket was not very good
Staff are kind
Bed and mattresses can be clean
This was a great value. Our room was huge, separate room for the bedroom, 2 Tvs, breakfast, and a lot more than I expected as a whole. We took a five minute walk to the PATH, and were in the city in 20-30 minutes. There is a parking garage nearby, and in my opinion you can't beat this for the price--we looked everywhere. You do have to get there early for breakfast or the options get very slim. Aside from that, it was a nice stay.
Furniture in the lobby is a bit outdated, as is the elevator. Breakfast could also have a bit larger room to serve as it was always full.
Rooms were spacious, the 2nd bed was located in a seperate room. Path Train was very close so we could travel into New York easily. Breakfast was good.
I like the location, which is very close to Journal square Path train station...means you are living in Manhattan and paying for Jersey. .. its only 20 minutes to 33 street. Overall I like the facility. The staff was very cooperative. Even at 3.00 clock in the morning.
The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, bathroom very clean. spacious rooms. Breakfast was excellent, lots to eat. Staff was courteous and very friendly. Carlos and Lissette at the front were very helpful in answering all our questions. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!
There were three of us in this room and we had to ask for an extra face cloth for the first three nights, until the front desk staff finally gave us a few extra.
The hotel us very convenient. It is walking distance to food and transportation. The shuttle to and from the airport is an extra plus.
The rooms are sometimes noisy from outside traffic.
Location. 5 mins walk to path station
Hotel needs renovation. It has smell
the bed, that about beside the staff was outstanding
the lack of parking available for handicap folks
Close to the Path Station. Relatively safe neighbourhood.
Close to NYC train.
This hotel has easy access if you are arriving at Newark airport. Take a taxi (70 dollars including tips) or take the train to Journal Square (if you don't have to many heavy bags). Breakfast is ok, and we had a room with two bedrooms, which was convenient since we were three adults. The staff were very helpful sending some items we left behind by UPS, just charging the UPS charges.
It's a bit awkward to get to New York as the subway only reaches a limited number of places. And if you change metro you will need to purchase a new ticket since the metro lines are operated by different companies. But the worst part was that we were leaving via JFK airport, and that left us with the choice of a very long and expensive taxi journey, or a very cumbersome subway/train journey. We chose the latter, and had enough exercise to last us a week. But it is still the choice I would make if I had to do it again.
