Location was excellent for universal. The lobby area of the hotel was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
There was renovations going on during our stay which we were unaware of until we arrived. This meant high noise levels during the day, elevator shortage or none at all at times and the corridors/halls were quiet dusty.
My reservation wast ready, and wait for 15-20 minutes. Breakfast not that good.
lovely room, plenty of space, good facilities to make food
no sun in the afternoon round the pool
The bed, size of room, and hotel staff were excellent
The breakfast room was a mess, and the food choice was poor, with no hot food other than waffles and potatoes available.
Lo ation is near the main attraction
The tower was under remodelatio and dirty. The elevator was in terrible conditions and made terrible noises all night long. No one even appologize for the inconvenience. Due to the bad sleep we had we got sleep until 9:00 am and when got to the dining facilities for breakfast they said it was closes ONE minute ago. We paid for good service and comfort and received neither
The hotel was perfect for what we where there for. The rooms are really nice and always clean. Really nice view on the lake and the wet n' wild waterpark. WiFi was working very well and for free. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. When you want to do a lot of attraction stuff (like us) there is a ticket office inside the hotel. I-Ride Trolley tickets and a lot of flyers available. Very good location to reach Universal Studios or Disneyland. Was only 10$ with a hotel taxi or you could use the bus. The station is directly infront of the hotel on the main street. It was very cheap and i expected less for the money but it was just perfect!
The pool is a bit small.. Not a hotel to make hotelholidays.. but we didn't do that anyway :P
room size location
Breakfast. Most basic breakfast. Nothingh to eat.
That is was close to attractions
* Under construction but wasn't advised until room was already booked. * Misleading because information didn't state roof pool area was club level only. * Hot tub didn't work & staff consistently lied about it. * Only (1) elevator for over 400 rooms was working. And then you could only go up in order for the elevator to eventually come down. In all essence, making you stop at each floor twice.
We stayed in the separate south tower (we called it the peasants tower as it was certainly not as nice as the main hotel) on the 11th floor. Great view of the lake! Fridge, microwave, table and chairs was great as you can eat in if you're on a budget! Overall we enjoyed our stay.
None of the front desk staff were very friendly, in fact i think the only member of staff I even saw crack a smile was the laundry boy! Who was very nice. Front desk staff could learn a thing or two from him! No one told us that there was construction work going on right outside our door! So on our first day when we were completely jet lagged and trying to sleep we were woken up by drilling and hammering at 9am! Not a problem for the rest of the week as we were up early for theme parks, would have been courteous if we were told by staff when we checked in. If you complain they will charge if you want to move to an upgraded room.
Location ,the bed
Forgot facetowels not enough coffee.do you give bottled water? No breakfast meat
The pool And outdoor area seemed nice but was not able to enjoy due to time.
Staff was not friendly checking in and especially when checking out. There was so much construction going on. It was loud and dusty. Rooms seemed run down. I'm happy we were only staying for ten hours.
Great location to City Walk at Universal Studios. Staff was pleasant and room clean.
No wash cloths in the room and lights didn't work, but rectified immediately. A bit noisy in the morning due to construction.
Good location to Universal.
Only one working elevator. Very very poor breakfast, toast and jelly... this is all you get.
First off was not told hotel was under construction. After a bad experience with the concierge, it took us 3 tries to get into a room. First the girl gave us the wrong room number, then the keys didnt work, then the key scanner on the door didnt work. Finally we arrived to a room that had trash and broken pallets/chairs/room carts outside of the door. We go in and a musty smell hit us in the face. Shower water would not get warm and bath tub would not drain. Upon checkout another girl at the counter was rude again.
Pool and Bar area are nice
Staff checked us in to a room that was occupied. Hallways under construction toilet ran constantly Woke up to Jack hammers and construction noise
The property was very pretty and I must say very clean
When we check into our room there were only 3 large towels no face or hand towels call down for towels never got them. The next day same thing no towels I went out and purchase towels. I left a large tip with a note asking for towels and coffee well came back later and the money was gone and still no towels only to find out it wasn't the housekeepers it was the supervisors that check the rooms and was taking the tips and I was told that the supervisor was to put towels in the rooms. I left that hotel with a bad taste on my last day we saw the lady who cleans the room and was off the days we didn't get towels and give her the tips in her hand we book 3 suites rm 622 623 626 I plan on coming back to Orlando and I don't think I will come to the Ramada
Building work, breakfast was poor, request for extra towels ignored
Lake view, cleaned room, enough lights, vending laundry, free car parking area, free WiFi, breakfast.
One elevator out of two was out of service.
No cups, plates or cutlery with a hob, microwave and fridge in the room.
A large parking place and the bar man was , Raul , excellent.
I didt like the part that I had to paid for the save separately becuase always when I travel it is include in the price from the hotel
Bed was really hard to sleep on, it could be softer.
The only Good thing out of my stay was the view of the lake.
They need to update the south wing and the air was not working and they said it was nothing they could do about it. Also there was no parking and I asked from desk why and there answer was " It's the weekend." Also there was loud noise coming through the walls. Never will I be staying there again.
Location: 500 m from Wet-n-Wild, 10 min drive from Universal. Business centre (computers, printers). Parking.
We selected Ramada Plaza because it is a brand, plus a pool on the roof was announced. The reality is, the pool is only available for "certain types of rooms", and the hotel itself is awful... There are 2 buildings, and maybe the 1st one is better, but we were in the 2nd, where the floor in the corridor was covered with CONCRETE! Just naked concrete. And breakfast is very poor. So actually it's fine to spend a night, but very far from what Ramada Plaza offers worldwide.
Clean & modern reception. Nice pool Good location on I-Drive Room was clean & good views over I-Drive
Room was located opposite a very noisy lift Hotel undergoing external remodelling therefore dusty, noisy and workmen everywhere - we didn't know about this prior to check in. Staff not overly friendly - didn't ask if we had a good stay etc but helpful when asked for assistance directly.
