continental breakfast food items could have been more of a variety, also a free shuttle service to some of the attractions would have been real nice. I spent a lot of money daily to get around

I like the lake in my window, I like the place and we love the breakfast!!!

We do no like the parking..was to little and verry out of security...and just a sujestion give egg with the breakfast jejej but was love time in the hotel!!!

It is in our opinion after travelling 5 weeks in America staying in numerous luxury Hotels, that the Ramada Orlando International Drive Lakefront (Ramada Plaza) deserves our least recommendation due to poor 'internal-staff communication’. (This does not imply that the staff are unfriendly, as they are happy to accommodate their guests.) However its location to numerous restaurants, souvenir/grocery shops, and LYNX public transport; Stop 11 – No.42 takes you to the Airport, I-Ride Trolley Stop 11 ($1.25) South to Sea World (33) and North to Premium Shopping Outlets (1). Plus Hotel Breakfast included, smoking permitted outside your door; made our stay bearable by overlooking the idiosyncrasies and annoyances. As my choice was based on our needs for a further 2 nights stay after our Grand East Tour ended in this Hotel. Whereby giving us 4 nights in total to relax, and unwind from living out of a suitcase for 18 days. We found our Suite (Room 604 – facing the lakefront) as specified per website, comfortable; clean enough, most appliances working and the pool area a delight. And although my own booking email request went unnoticed; for us to stay in this one room rather than pack up again and move into another part of the Hotel… It was sorted out without extra charge and inconvenience; unfortunately the next shift was uninformed of this arrangement and agreement, which lead us to repeating ourselves daily. 1. The Internal-Staff communication; from front desk to room service requirements. Repeating your requests over and over each day as it had not been passed on to the next shift or room maintenance. 2. Suite accommodation building elevator ran upwards before reaching ground floor and was scary to ride. Upon exiting the elevator it would drop an inch whilst doors are open with a thud to level off with your floor. 3. Hotel Phone policy requires a credit card for a 50 cent charge even for a free 1800 number… In the whole of our stay in numerous Hotels across America, the Ramada Plaza charges for a free call number. Unreal! Although in our case it was graciously overlooked :) P.S. Danny says; he’d rather sleep on the sidewalk than stay there again… I would recommend the Ramada Plaza purely on the grounds of location etc. and if you limited your requests in your period of stay.

Everything was a disaster, the rooms, the cleaniness, the breakfast was terrible. ( All bread and corn flakes) The room seems that was subject to a hearthquake. Everything broken (the bath door). The room smell to mold and wet all the time. The room was horrible and the breakfast was worst. It is better they mentioned that the are offering a bed with bread

The hotel is beautiful! The staff was friends and the free cocktails were great!

I was in a recently renovated "superior room". It was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable , fresh linens and towels. To go up to your room you need a room key for the elevator which was good from a security perspective. Although there on a business trip it was very nice and I would stay there again.

Only one critique , a slighlty wider variation for breakfast. May be in addition eggs and/or sausages

Location, near to many places to enjoy with my family.

This is my first time in Ramada Hotel, and i am a little bit disappointed, building looks new but facilities looks old (rooms), you do not need to much for improve and get for better looking in room and dinning restaurant. My kids did not know an analogic TV...is time to change them...

Bed was comfortable. Room was very nice.

The carpet had not been vaccumed. Room was dirty. Ice machine didn't work. Better values with other hotels in the area if the price is 120 dollars . Paid 90 dollars for the room.

The new North Tower & It's Suite's are great, brand new & clean (As of Mar 2012). Good location for a cheap $10 taxi ride to Universal Studio's/Citywalk area where there are loads of nice restaurants & things to do. You wouln't really want to be eating near the hotel as the north side of I-Drive has gone downhill a bit now. Free breakfast can help you save some $$

Don't be fooled by the cheap prices for the standard rooms and the high floor specials! I was! These rooms are in the South Tower which is no better than a cheap motel. The room they tried to give me was old & nasty. Paid pay the extra for a Suite ($147/night) which was good but for some reason even though it had it's own kitchen it didn't come with any cutlery, plates, glasses etc etc?! Not sure what they think your supposed to do?? Buy them or take them with you? Whilst on the subject of tableware, for some reason this hotel only supplies disposable plates & cutlery for the breakfasts?! Come on guys, it's not very environmentally friendly is it?! Can you not just buy yourselves a dishwasher like EVERY other hotel in the world?! I'd recommend you stay further down I-Drive near Jamacian Court (Radisson hotel is great) as the area's a lot nicer. Staff are friendly but a bit dopey! Asked for a taxi to be booked 1.5 hours before we needed it & then when questioned where my taxi was I watched the same guy i'd previously book it with ring & ask for it then. There are a lot better/nicer places to stay in Orlando, give them a try before you book here!
