We did not encounter any unhappy or unhelpful employees. Our 1st room had a lingering smoke smell and they quickly gave us another, 234, which was great. Seriously, I've never slept in a hotel bed as comfortable as that one! Great selection at breakfast and there was plenty for everyone. Pool and hot tub area is nice. And very close to the big Lake.
Bed, pillows and breakfast.
the beds were very comfortable. The we did not hear activity from other rooms nor were the halls noisy. The breakfast area was clean and the food was tasty.
bathroom fan was loud. Th room could have been larger as we had added an extra bed. The oranges were a little too ripe and the bananas not ripe enough at the breakfast area.
The breakfast hours ran until 10 am.
The hallways are outdated and in need of a deep cleaning.
The location was good and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was also nice.
The beds were squeaky and we did not like the breakfast food.
Not much. The staff was nice enough.
About everything. Entire hotel facility is in severe need of renovation.
breakfast room staff
The staff were very helpful and cordial. They seemed to value the customers.
Sheets would not stay on bed. Bathroom door would not stay shut. Not enough seating for breakfast and poor selection of food.
breakfast was ok. room was fine. the shower was hot.
hot tub was barely warm. i chose this hotel rather than the hampton across the street because it had a hot tub. hot tub was foamy and not much warmer than the pool. upon check in, the manager on duty, Yvonne, was unfriendly and even kind of rude when she would not honor my AAA card. last year was a better experience, which is why I chose to return there this year. every time i returned from being out and walked past the desk- there was never a hello, welcome back or how was your day from any front desk staff. not any acknowledgment whatsoever. the housekeeping staff were nice, and did a good job.
that we could bring our pet
our room was suppose to have 2 queen beds. they were definately not queens. probably full beds. So it was a bit tight.
The Hotel had an indoor swimming pool, comfortable suites, and a good location.
The hotel was somewhat drab and dirty, the elevators looked old and unclean. I was charged a dollar for laundry detergent. The breakfast had limited fare. The hotel only had one washer and dryer. All this for $140 a night? No way. I won't stay at this hotel again.
The bed was pretty comfortable and it was pretty quiet. Not sure if the quiet was due to lack of attendance or just quiet.
It smelled of smoke almost everywhere, my room being the worst. The lady checking us is was less than pleasant and the continental breakfast was the worst offering I have ever had.
Your pillows are the worst!!! We all woke up with neck aches, except for the smart one who brought her own pillow!
Location, friendliness and service attitude of staff, cleanliness, pool area, room was very large and bed was comfortable.
Work out equipment
the complimentary breakfast. the ammenities laundry, hot tub, pool which we did not use . nice if the pool was an outside pool. with a cover foe cooler climate.
rooms too small did not like vanity outside in room area needs larger bathroom with vanity in there and no closets. I was going to stay at The Hampton Inn, but cancelled last minute because Baymont was $100.00 cheaper. For the room I would have rather stayed at The Hampton and spent the $100.00
Needed some updating. Bathroom needed good repairs. Tub was poorly patched and needed a new toilet seat.
Walmart next door , close to beCh
Was run down , never spent 233.00 on hotel room before . this should have been very fancy / nice for this kind of $$$$$. Outlets didn't work really / cell phones / blow dryer fell out . Took luggage cart to get all bags & the stairs kept us from taking it to our room . Had to unload it - carry up steps - several trips . seemed weird . !! Why have the steps there ??
The pool area was very clean and breakfast was good.
Although it was a holiday weekend it was too expensive more than double the "normal" rate!
some things were old, paint chipped and seemed worn
The location was great, got right off the highway and there it was. The hot breakfast was really enjoyable.
The room was consideraby smaller than even an average hotel room. The furn iture in the room was really outdated. This room was 200.00 off of booking.com. This hotel is really a $79-$99 per room hotel. The next night we stayed in a One bedroom suite at a private inn with much better amenities and only paid $200.00 per night there.
Service was good
The smell of the room
I Iike that the room had a refrigerator and microwave
The the desk chair arm was broke the Arm was on but loosed . The sitting chair was stained and covered with someone's hair which I covered with towels from the bathroom just to sit down other than that no problems
Over all experience was fine
Beds were extremely soft
Free hot breakfast was a plus. Room was well looked after.
There was an odor in the room and hallway when we checked in, probably from lack of airing out frequently.
