It was close to home.
The sausage gravy and biscuits were not good. Couldn't even eat it. Would have been nice to have scrambled eggs and meat as option too.
It was quiet
Could be cleaner. Hair dryer did not work in the room.
When I checked in they gave me a free room upgrade and were so nice
We enjoy the pool and hot tub. The pool was warmer this time which was nice. It has been to cold in the past.
Plenty of space in the suite. Loved the two room idea. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options.
There was no ice machine on our second floor. Was pulled out and we had to go down to first floor.
Lobby and hospitality area was clean and nicely decorated.
Elevator was shabby, bugs and debris in light fixture, dirty. Hallway decor was cold and uninviting. There was a pink ring around the bathtub drain. The hot portion of breakfast was waffles or cold biscuits and sausage gravy. Most hotels that advertise a hot breakfast have sausage and eggs. Disappointing.
slept easily and really good coffee. Location close to Walmart which was convenient.
when we walked into the hotel it smelled like a skunk. Hallways and elevator were really creepy. Touch up of paint would go a long way. As I walked to get ice I didn't feel safe so I had my husband go with me as we got by the ice machine we could swear the smell we smelled was marijuana. It was disgusting.
We were on bicks and the staff lt u bring our backs inside for the night. Was very helpful.
Upon checking in staff was not pleasant or inviting at all. Then the same staff member woke us up in the middle of the night thinking that we needed towels, she should have looked at her room number before leaving the desk with them. We could hear her bang on several other doors speaking very loud. (DID YOU ORDER TOWELS!) ugh! Motel also needs updated very badly!
Location was great and the staff was great. Enjoyed the continental breakfast.
Was a little noisy at times. We were on the second floor and could hear the water running and toilets flushed from third floor.
Quiet, clean, convenient.
Clean hotel, friendly staff.
Don't get room 215. Advertised as a King bed. It was next to the elevater and had no place to sit other than bed or toilet. Opened the door and it was a hallway until you got to the bed. Poor choice in design.
The longer breakfast hours and the cookie in the evening.
We left a container of food (in a nice travel dish) and couple of items in the refrigerator. We returned a few hours after checking out to see if they had the dish and were told they dump everything left. I had hoped that since we were only away a few hours before we remembered that we left it in the fridge that my dish could have still been located. I understand throwing away the food that people leave behind, but would have thought that if it was dishes or personal belonging that it would be at least held for that day.
We did not encounter any unhappy or unhelpful employees. Our 1st room had a lingering smoke smell and they quickly gave us another, 234, which was great. Seriously, I've never slept in a hotel bed as comfortable as that one! Great selection at breakfast and there was plenty for everyone. Pool and hot tub area is nice. And very close to the big Lake.
Bed, pillows and breakfast.
the beds were very comfortable. The we did not hear activity from other rooms nor were the halls noisy. The breakfast area was clean and the food was tasty.
bathroom fan was loud. Th room could have been larger as we had added an extra bed. The oranges were a little too ripe and the bananas not ripe enough at the breakfast area.
The breakfast hours ran until 10 am.
The hallways are outdated and in need of a deep cleaning.
The location was good and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was also nice.
The beds were squeaky and we did not like the breakfast food.
Not much. The staff was nice enough.
About everything. Entire hotel facility is in severe need of renovation.
breakfast room staff
The staff were very helpful and cordial. They seemed to value the customers.
Sheets would not stay on bed. Bathroom door would not stay shut. Not enough seating for breakfast and poor selection of food.
breakfast was ok. room was fine. the shower was hot.
hot tub was barely warm. i chose this hotel rather than the hampton across the street because it had a hot tub. hot tub was foamy and not much warmer than the pool. upon check in, the manager on duty, Yvonne, was unfriendly and even kind of rude when she would not honor my AAA card. last year was a better experience, which is why I chose to return there this year. every time i returned from being out and walked past the desk- there was never a hello, welcome back or how was your day from any front desk staff. not any acknowledgment whatsoever. the housekeeping staff were nice, and did a good job.
that we could bring our pet
our room was suppose to have 2 queen beds. they were definately not queens. probably full beds. So it was a bit tight.
The Hotel had an indoor swimming pool, comfortable suites, and a good location.
The hotel was somewhat drab and dirty, the elevators looked old and unclean. I was charged a dollar for laundry detergent. The breakfast had limited fare. The hotel only had one washer and dryer. All this for $140 a night? No way. I won't stay at this hotel again.
