Breakfast and the breakfast staff were great
The manager Sara was so obnoxious on the phone being rude while I was attempting to check in. Booking through booking was a nightmare for their front desk
The staff tied up my funds on a bank ATM card. Though it was paid in full with another card and cash, they older lady in charge refused to do anything to release the funds, tying up my business account, and pretty much laughed about it.... I found her rude and very discourteous. I will never stay at another Ramada Inn!!
I needed a pair of pliers to fix the bent plug on my husband's breathing machine. Alfredo didn't find a pair in the drawer, so he ran out to his car and lent me his own pair! They worked, and my husband got the oxygen he needed to sleep well. Plus the bed was very comfortable!
Wifi worked well, bed was comfortable, good parking, staff friendly and helpful.
Expensive for a motel, but probably fairly reasonable for Santa Barbara area
The free wifi is a plus, however most hotels offer free wifi as well, and have better facilities.
The hotel buildings are old, the rooms are old and dark. The heating/air system is EXTREMELY noisey to the point of waking us up in the middle of the night (every night).
The woman at reception wasn't welcoming. The moment I walked in the door, she asked, " Is that your car?" "Please move it to a parking space ". Next, the toilet in the room was leaking. We were jet lagged & could not imagine someone fixing it while we were trying to get an early sleep. When we told the manager the next morning, he rudely said, "well, did you tell us last night?" The buffet breakfast was badly organised with minimal tables & room for guests to enjoy their meal. The cost was not worth it. Won't go there again.
I like the large rooms, the balcony, the duck pond and the gardens. A very pretty view.
Rooms were clean.
Vending machines did not accept cards
Hotel did provide transportation to pick us up and take us to the train station at no additional charge. Pretty pond with geese and ducks that came right up to the patio.
The bathroom had soap scum on the door and rust in and around the tub.
the price paid for a double room is too high, the room was big but needed definitely some maintenance and refurbishment. The hotel is located very close to the highway, convenient if driving by car but to far away from the city center and the beaches. Complimentary breakfast was rich and served in a very big room. Overall my opinion is that the hotel is not worth the price.
The outside grounds are lovely, there is a lotus pound with ducks, turtles and fish. The continental breakfast offered a nice variety.
The rooms can stand a little work. They were clean, but our room could have used a paint job, there were areas that looked like they had started to touch up walls but did not finish. Also our room had a major plumbing issue that was not attended to until an hour and a half after we called the front desk
Rather a bland corporate style hotel but basically ok. A little further away from Santa Barbara than we thought, but that was our mistake
This was a nice stop-over on our way up the Pacific Coast Highway, just off Highway 101. Though not luxurious, the pleasant surprise that the hotel surrounded a charming duck pond, which gave every room a nice view. This totally met our expectations.
I have a little girl that had so much fun looking at the duck. Plus it was a nice place to take pictures.
I was happy with everything
Good location, comfortable beds, met our needs as just a place to sleep.
Bathroom had unpleasant odor upon arrival. Older facility - needs updating
Rooms/ location near noisy hiway.
The high ceilings and the pool landscape.
They staff was not prepared to check-in on time. I checked in 4 hours past check in time and staff was indignant about the poor time management.
The furniture was old/damaged. The carpet was a dirty ugly green, matched the curtain. The tub was not clean. It had the marking of an old bath mat in it. The paint on the ceiling was peeling. The lagoon/garden view was not a good one. I will never stsy at another ramada. The exterior and hallway was similar to a motel, not a hotel.
We just used the hotel as a stopping off point which was ok but in the condition it's in we wouldn't of stated longer. It's in need of a makeover, especially in the rooms. Bathroom amenities were ok and the breakfast options also ok.
Grubby room decor, warm option at breakfast
I like everything was comfortable and clean the workers were nice.
People next room having party all night did dint let my kids sleep.
I asked for a receipt upon a telephone check-out and never received anything!
Easy Parking, quick continental breakfast that was included, free wi-fi. comfortable bed.
Hotel clean but very old. Paint peeling, tile and grout dingy, corners of mirrors and sinks had build up of years of wear, carpets worn, humid in hallway, no central air (only wall unit that leaked on the terrace). The ducks were a selling point and my children were dissapointed that both duck food machines were out of order. The wind caused a power outage and we sat in the dark in our hotel rooms. The next night the pool did not have any lights, leaving us in complete darkness.
the plumbing issues in the room
I didn't like any think
Very very bad hotel even the other ramada branches in USA
