Hotel did provide transportation to pick us up and take us to the train station at no additional charge. Pretty pond with geese and ducks that came right up to the patio.
The bathroom had soap scum on the door and rust in and around the tub.
the price paid for a double room is too high, the room was big but needed definitely some maintenance and refurbishment. The hotel is located very close to the highway, convenient if driving by car but to far away from the city center and the beaches. Complimentary breakfast was rich and served in a very big room. Overall my opinion is that the hotel is not worth the price.
The outside grounds are lovely, there is a lotus pound with ducks, turtles and fish. The continental breakfast offered a nice variety.
The rooms can stand a little work. They were clean, but our room could have used a paint job, there were areas that looked like they had started to touch up walls but did not finish. Also our room had a major plumbing issue that was not attended to until an hour and a half after we called the front desk
Rather a bland corporate style hotel but basically ok. A little further away from Santa Barbara than we thought, but that was our mistake
This was a nice stop-over on our way up the Pacific Coast Highway, just off Highway 101. Though not luxurious, the pleasant surprise that the hotel surrounded a charming duck pond, which gave every room a nice view. This totally met our expectations.
I have a little girl that had so much fun looking at the duck. Plus it was a nice place to take pictures.
I was happy with everything
Good location, comfortable beds, met our needs as just a place to sleep.
Bathroom had unpleasant odor upon arrival. Older facility - needs updating
Rooms/ location near noisy hiway.
The high ceilings and the pool landscape.
They staff was not prepared to check-in on time. I checked in 4 hours past check in time and staff was indignant about the poor time management.
The furniture was old/damaged. The carpet was a dirty ugly green, matched the curtain. The tub was not clean. It had the marking of an old bath mat in it. The paint on the ceiling was peeling. The lagoon/garden view was not a good one. I will never stsy at another ramada. The exterior and hallway was similar to a motel, not a hotel.
We just used the hotel as a stopping off point which was ok but in the condition it's in we wouldn't of stated longer. It's in need of a makeover, especially in the rooms. Bathroom amenities were ok and the breakfast options also ok.
Grubby room decor, warm option at breakfast
I like everything was comfortable and clean the workers were nice.
People next room having party all night did dint let my kids sleep.
I asked for a receipt upon a telephone check-out and never received anything!
Easy Parking, quick continental breakfast that was included, free wi-fi. comfortable bed.
Hotel clean but very old. Paint peeling, tile and grout dingy, corners of mirrors and sinks had build up of years of wear, carpets worn, humid in hallway, no central air (only wall unit that leaked on the terrace). The ducks were a selling point and my children were dissapointed that both duck food machines were out of order. The wind caused a power outage and we sat in the dark in our hotel rooms. The next night the pool did not have any lights, leaving us in complete darkness.
the plumbing issues in the room
I didn't like any think
Very very bad hotel even the other ramada branches in USA
The pond in the middle, the convenience of the location, the breakfast in the morning.
The rooms were old and outdated. Wallpaper was coming off, the staff wasn't very friendly. The air conditioner was really noisy and kept coming off the wall. Hallways smelled of oldness. I've been coming to this hotel since the 90's and it was one of my favorite places to stay and now it's just run down and not worth the almost $600 I spent for two nights to stay there. Very unhappy and will not be coming back. Very disappointed and sad.
no extra bed in room with 2 double beds possible, although mentioned booking.com- pls adjust
Thought room included a full hot breakfast
The grounds were very nice. The location was easy to find, & the breakfast was filling, though very heavy on the sugar. The staff were very friendly and genuinely seemed Interested in making our stay pleasant.
The motel is located in Goleta. However, the web listed the motel in Santa Barbara. We were told that we would have a room with a view of their beautiful lagoon when I verbally confirmed my reservation the day prior to our arrival. However, upon arrival we were told by the front desk people that only people who book directly with Ramada have the opportunity to obtain those rooms. We were offered a room with a view of the parking lot. Misrepresentation is the appropriate word here. We almost left. So, I'm wondering if I should continue to use your Web site...
Nearness of areas i wanted to visit.
Pool and hot tub
Not having a nightly hospitality with others
Breakfast room plastic and cardboard. Cleanliness could be better
Loved the pool and the lagoon area. My children loved watching the ducks walking around!
The room was a bit dated.
I loved the pool & the little ponds in between. Breakfast was pretty good itself.
The manager on site on july4th was terribly rude! Our room smelled like an old stuffed closet. We weren't able to sleep at night due to loud noises caused by the water pipes. Also, long weekend would've been nice if the pool was open passed 10pm. Santa Barbara was good too us, but the stay could've been a bit nicer!
