Location was good
Was too late in the day to get your room cleaned, complimentary breakfast was very limited, parking was horrible.
To start driving in we seen all of the construction being done, I can admit I thought "oh no, it's not gonna be good." But as we checked in by Christian, who was so friendly and funny just a great guy, I started to chane my mind. Our rooms were on ground floor. Again I was surprised. Both rooms were very very clean, extremely quiet and very comfortable. We spent 2 days at Disneyland only across the street.. We were able to buy umbrellas there for an extremely low price.. I can't put into words how pleased I was with this hotel.. My family will again stay here..
The wi-fi was a little slow,.. But that's no biggie.. There should be more coffee, tea and condiments in the room.. And I have the same gripe with all hotels,.. If I can only check in at 3pm or after then I should have a true 24hrs.. Which should put check out at 3pm not 12pm. In my mind if those are my only complaints then I truly have nothing to complain about.
Very close to Disneyland and restaurants.
We were not told ahead of time that they are under construction. Also my husband slipped and fell in the shower because there were no non-skid strips or a mat. So be careful!
Only takes a couple minutes to walk to Disneyland Resort.
1. I arrived early and needed to get on wifi to do some work. First they said to check back in an hour and they might have a room ready. I went to nearby Denny's and worked for almost 2 hours, then returned. Still no room ready and was told it would not be until 3 PM (check-in time), so I got a key to the pool area. Worked using the one electrical outlet in the pool area until 3 PM, at which time the line stretched out of the office into the parking lot with everyone trying to check in. 2. They put me in the room closest to construction, surrounded on all sides by construction crews and noise, except for the one room next to me which was a group of guys that kept trying to open the door between our rooms every night. Felt unsafe with this room location as a woman travelling alone, had to walk between construction and building then around a dark corner to stairwell to open the door to my room. 3. Water run incorrectly to the bathroom so that hot was cold and cold was hot. 4. Had to keep moving my car for construction. 5. Wasn't told that I would be charged for parking until I was checking out.
Near the convention center and very near Disney. Excellent view of the Disney fires from the balcony at night Light breakfast included which was neat.
Nil .. Location was close to Disney but not worth the pain ...
Staff were unhelpful and rude .. We couldn't check in until 3.00pm and not a minute before no where sit to wait to checkin breakfast was pool side fine but not the rain ... Eating breakfast in the rain really?? wifi was slow and intermittent ... Totally turned me off ever stag at ramada again
The room was too small and very bad placement of the furniture. The place looks very ordinary and smells
The staff was very polite
the place was under reconstruction and there was no parking whatsoever
Location was excellent.
Breakfast area unable to facilitate guests.
Customer Service was fantastic. Close to park and food. It was easy to find. The room was clean and quite comfortable
The bathroom is a little tight but no biggy. Needs more space for personal items
The main desk workers were great...Byron (the manager) went out of his way to help....
The cleaning staff....after cleaning room only one bed was made and one garbage can emptied. Happened two days in a row
Like the pool
I didn't like the bed
The location is really close to Disney land. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Liked having a microwave and fridge, very convenient with a 1 yr old.
I didn't like the parking lot, spaces are way too small and I had to move my car like 3 times. The bathtub wasn't clean, hair in the drain. Small rooms.
Room size, clean, location, beds.
Limited parking, construction everywhere, temporary buildings for office, very small room by pool for breakfast, only outdoor seating for breakfast
This was a family vacation. I was traveling with my mom, and meeting up with siblings who had rooms at 2 other properties, one in the resort and one elsewhere. Although I hadn't stayed at the Ramada before, I opted to book here because of its proximity, and managed to convince my mom to let her reservations at the other properties go (no small feat). Earlier this year I had stayed at another, seemingly more upscale property a bit further north on Harbor. While I was checking in to that other property, I overheard front desk staff arguing with other guests about the condition of their room and how they weren't obliged to offer any discounts or refunds, even though they had checked out only 30 minutes into their stay. It was a cause for some concern, but I decided to stick with the reservation. I always do a bedbug check, and was dismayed to find two carpet beetle larvae and an odd assortment of food crumbs and trash on the floor under the bed, plus another carpet beetle between the mattress and box spring (umm, yay! no bedbugs; but still - eww, gross!). Having overheard the staff arguing with other guests and given the conditions of my stay then, I didn't bother trying to get another room or switch properties, dealt with the situation and completed my trip. Given that bad experience, though, I was a bit nervous about staying at another maingate property, and honestly wondered how the Ramada would be in comparison. It was so much better!!!!! Upon arrival, we checked in and arranged to leave our bags until we could get into our room at 3pm (as advertised). Staff members were polite and considerate, and very responsive to our needs and requests. In fact, they were downright cheerful. The room was clean and didn't smell at all odd, the way some high traffic rooms can, and I recall actually noticing how comfortable my bed was on the last morning.
Dealing with the under construction layout and location of the front desk facilities was mildly inconvenient. The current location for the continental breakfast was also a bit cramped and crowded enough when we went that we didn't want to stay and eat. Lastly, our air conditioning unit wasn't exactly robust, and if the weather had been hotter I assume it wouldn't have been enough to keep us comfortable, as the room was consistently just a bit too warm when we got in at night, and mostly stayed that way with the a/c unit on despite the colder weather at night.
Parking is awful. Not enough parking spaces and very tight spaces .
The pool was nice, and continental breakfast was sufficent. Location was very close walking to Disneyland
Rooms were outdated and under construction, caution tape on outside railing, and no central air or heating... Blankets had stains, and I felt like I was going to go through the store...office staff was rude and not welcoming, and didn't tell us they sold cheaper disney tickets after we found out.
This property is under construction. The lobby is in a trailer. Service is agonizingly slow. Breakfast area is tiny & difficult to access. Booking.com should tell you that for $179 a night.
Location was near Disneyland and freeway.
Not enough parking spaces. Had to drive around many times around just to find a parking.
Construction was going on and when booking wasn't notified
Continental Breakfast Very Nice Cleaning Personell
