Ramada Plaza Ft. Lauderdale  

The beds were very comfortable. It wasn't too far from the college football stadium and put us between the airport and fau stadium for ease of driving. Plus, the mall was only 8 miles away for some quick shopping. The work-out facility looked nice, even though, we didn't partake tihs time & the tennis court was well maintained and an added benefit. Worked fine for us on the trip and helped our travel costs when budgeting the trip.

Didn't care for the side services...The welcome center personnel were not welcoming at all. Rude in fact. The hispanic young women in the restaurant were not pleasant or helpful with the breakfast bar. Would not refill the orange juice dispenser...and the apple juice was very watery. So, we had only coffee. Meal was fine. The only waitress was an older caucasion women in her 50's and she was trying to work every table and was very friendly & helpful, but over-worked. The young hispanics watched her work...very noticable... Check out was smooth.

The hotel rooms are very nice, clean . The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was O.K compared to other hotels.

The reception took a lot of time and the hotel team at reception were not nice . The Internet did not work and cost money using the Lobby computer. I would recommand The internet to be free and a little bid to improve the reception process and to improve treatment with hotel guests.

The room

The staff were mainly rude and ignorant, unfriendly, and management unhelpful, the automatic telephone booked wake-up calls did not work, nor did the one I requested in person from the front desk duty staff. The management were very dismissive of my concerns and not interested in seeking answers to my problems there. I attempted to seek satisfaction from ill-treatment at the Ramada Plaza from Al Ramirez the General Manager who was never available to speak to. The majority of the guests were pre-booked on cruises and stayed at the Ramada as a stop-over hotel. Our 4 night stay was not a pleasant one. neither

I appreciated to be able to leave my car at the hotels parking lot while taking a 8 day cruise

Always the same food 10 $ resort fee this is not a resort most of the equitment in the fitness room was broken

Bit dated. Biggest problem was free breakfast didn't open until 7am. Are they kidding? I had to be at event by 7am

Heated pool.It is placed near high-way and it is comfortable if you are going to travel around.

This hotel is like a pension resort as only pensioners stay there and people from cruise .You can stay there only for 2 days not more.It was very damp in the room and water was yellow colour.We stayed for 10 days and breakfast was the same every day,no choice.I hate eggs from this time.Price is too high for such bad quality hotel.Everything is rather old.Hotel is far from the beach,you can reach it only by car because it takes about 40 minutes by bus and it's not comfortable to do everyday.Be ready that they will charge 50$ more than it was mentioned in confirmation for each day of staying as deposit.

It was close to the interstate and a great an Irish restaurant

TV volume had to be fixed so we reported this in AM of day and still not fixed by evening. A very rude, condescending night manager kept promising service that did not materialize until we spoke to someone else on the phone. The room was cleaned out of soap and cups so we had to once again had to talk to the rude manager who sarcastically brought out a bag of supplies along with a sardonic comment. The complimentary breakfast was bland. We were also unaware of a service fee of $10 that they added to the cost of the room once you get there. A very stressful stay due to poor attitude and service. One of the worst places we have stayed in during many years of travel.
