VERY rude staff/hostess (Christina? Kristin?) at peppercorns restaurant on 9/5/14 Terrible service.
I visit the Outer Banks every year with friends. I travel from the west coast and come in early. I have been staying at the Ramada for 3 years bec ause it is clean, the staff are wonderful and it has a amazing location.
I would have liked to check in earlier but that is not their fault.
Great location and staff were all very friendly and helpful
Water pressure in shower was poor. WiFi signal very weak.
Friendly and accommodating staff
Bath tub lever was stuck so I could not take a bath
Nice view of beach.
Had to wait to long for breakfast at peppercorns. My room wasn't ready by the time I requested...
excellent staff they were very attentive.everyone i came in contact from ,the cleaning staff, the beach staff to the restaurant, the deck bar and to the lounge were extremely attentive really can not say enough.the front desk were also excellent.this was the second time that i stayed at ramada
there is nothing i didn't like about my stay there
The staff was excellent. The hotel and room itself was clean. I definitely plan on going back and would recommend it to everyone!
nice room nice staff good gym washer/dryer avability was really nice
small bathroom no balcony rail no parking in front of room staff did not leave coffee one night
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was nice.
Rooms were outdated and the tile work in the bathroom shower and floor looked like a 2 year kid did it. Poor quality work as they shouldn't have paid for the work that was completed.
Right on the beach, very clean, perfect location. Not to far from everything
The only good thing about this hotel is that it is within walking distance to the beach.
There were a lot of bugs in the room every night, like there was a nest of flies. The shower would not work because the faucet was broken. There is karaoke on Saturday, which makes the hotel very noisy. And, not all rooms have a city or ocean view. The first floor room I stayed in had a big hill in the way of any view. And, the price was way too expensive for what it was.
The complimentary washer and dryer was fabulous! The outside decks are beautifully laid out. The inside pool was awesome after the ocean.
The beach access was nice and had a delicious breakfast at their restaurant.
The room had a smell in it. We were on the first floor where people with pets stayed so we assumed our room had housed animals as well.
The receptionist at front desk was lovely even though she had to tell me that the ocean front room I booked was actually NOT ocean front - but rather street view! The lobby was lovely though and the pool and pool bar looked nice and overlooked the ocean.
Advertised ocean front rooms are NOT really ocean front rooms! Apparently, the way the ad is written people are repeatedly disappointed by this fact - and yet still, the hotel has made no effort to correct that misleading information. When I did check out the room - it was so far from being of the Ramada standard I have come to enjoy - it felt dated and grungy. Though the receptionist was a sweetheart - the manager was clearly tired of all the complaints and that was the third strike for me on the Nags Head Ramada. The receptionist was kind enough to cancel my booking and assure me that I would not be charged.
Dogs barking throughout the day
Great location! Ramada has a great deck bar, in hotel restaurant, good pool size, comedy club, & across the st from the best pizza & ice cream in town
Which there were suites options
Felt a little pricey without offering a free breakfast Hotels need to clearly post that they have dogs. Maybe put all dog rooms on one floor or something. I had a dog in my hall that barked and kept me awake!
I liked the location and beach access. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean. The beds were definitely comfortable. For a Beach location, we had a nice quiet stay during peak season.
Was not pleased with the bar staff...waited quite a while for service and he continually served younger clientele before us while he said, "just another minute." I found that to be rude, so we did not return to the bar area for the rest of our trip. We chose to go elsewhere.
Jacuzzi tub in room - dirty and unusable. Used coffee mug and 1/2 eaten watermelon outside our room for 2 days. Housekeeping NEVER came. Asked for towels, etc. - it was brought to us in a trash bag - really? Extremely dirty electrical outlets and light switches. (Gross!)
comfortable, nice spot on the beach, nice pool, great restaurant with very affordable prices!
no outdoor pool, bathroom had mold in the corners -needs to be re-caulked
Location to beach
Air conditioning was too close to bed. Food was to high.
Location was great. Sabrina bird was unique. My son enjoyed saying hi to her every morning.
Problem taken care of the next day. Person picking teeth was friendlier. Beach was clean as well as gazebo area. Beach boy was very sweet and helpful with umbrella. Outsiders could also enjoy the beach. Free and good coffee. Clean lobby bathroom.
First impression was crowed lobby, people fighting, person checking us in was picking his teeth with a pen. Two queen beds instead of king. Pool was so dirty we couldn't use it. Cloudy water. Bathroom shower had mildew in second room. Balcony door was difficult to open and then to close.
Location to things to do!
Beds were old and unconfortable. pictures posted are outdated. It is an old hotel pictures make it look much more inviting!
We reserved a room with an ocean view but received a city view for some reason. We were charged for Ocean view initially and, I had to personally address the issue twice to resolve it. Kind of annoying.
