Very close with shuttle to the aiport. Large rooms. quiet.
Staff lied when asked about air. They kniw the whole wing does not have air. Room was to hot and could not leave window open 1st floor. Soft spot in middle of shower warm water took forever
Near to the airport, but not too noisy. No complimentary breakfast, but the restaurant breakfast was very good, wait staff were friendly, and it was reasonably priced.
The room was freezing upon arrival and we were traveling with an infant, took approx. 3 hours until it was just tolerable. The heater was very noisy. Bathroom was dirty. A lamp was unplugged and when we moved the nightstand to plug the lamp in, it was filthy behind it.
The lady that check us in, was very helpful. Also the lady in the lounge really went out of her way to be helpful and friendly.
needed a lot of tlc in our room #105. It seem that they were letting the room run down.
I literally liked nothing, this place is incensiti e to customers.. Rented two rooms first room broken facet , broken showers .. Friends had to use our bathroom.. Rooms need a sever upgrade.. At least a thorough cleaning!! Inexcusable! Management seemed to care less after learning of our issue.. Il never go back to this property again! Never!!
See above comments:( sad .. Incredibly sad
Did like the room. Nice
Did not like the staff. Rude. One of the ladies keep flipping her hair while helping people. Did not great you.
Lounge restroom dirty and smelly
- Loved the staff (counters and shuttle drivers) - The Wi-Fi connection is great - Hotel is perfectly located ('around the airport's corner') - Sofas in the front :-)
- Food at Lea's restaurant and coffee is terrible - The lady helping at the restaurant in the late afternoons-evenings (but morning lady is great) - There is no elevator and is hard to get a room in the first floor - Some areas still need to be refurbished
I like the convenience and location of the Ramada.
The only glitch in my experience was checking in. There was a "shift change" that was to have started as soon as I approached the front desk. I was made aware of this and told that it would only take a few minutes. Ten minutes later, the same person who had informed me of the change, checked me in. I found this rather confusing as the register that he used was not the one that the employee coming on was using. He had walked past it several times and even used the phone to call a cab for another guest. Of all the chaos in world this was pretty minor, however interesting.
The garden and the location
We asked for non-smoking room and it said non-smoking room, but it reeked of smoke. They switched us to another room but then the heater didn't work. The hallways reeked of urine and smoke. Awful place!
The bed was the most comfortable bed ever! we liked it so much that we strip the bed to see what kind it was
The staff was unfriendly, the shower was stopped up the coffee pot did not work, the train was loud in the middle of the night, no elevator. The microwave gave the train a run for its money in waking up the neighborhood.. It was dirty.
Location right near airport but very quiet as well, very good beds, Wi-Fi worked fine, big flat screen tv with a decent cable package unlike most hotels, staff was fine, have stayed here twice and would always stay here when in Portland. Parking convenient as well.
Just a warning to future visitors - there is NO elevator so if you get an upstairs room you have to carry all your bags up and down. Might be difficult if you have lots of bags, carrying kids, or have mobility issues. This is the only caution I would advise.
- Shuttle was in time
- only one waitress in the restaurant, she needed to care also for the bar, long time to wait for dinner, meal was not too good
Hair in the shower
appearance, quiet, updated look and amenities; very helpful staff
bed was not well-made (sheets rumpled) needed an additional blanket which didn't seem to be there microwave didn't work....didn't pop popcorn
The location and the shuttle driver were amazing
The bathrooms were filthy the restaurant was filthy the front desk person was mean the housekeeping was half done
It's about 6 minutes from PDX, and close to some restaurants and shopping.
It's tucked into an industrial area, and the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Also, the ceeling leaked water on to the tv below it.
the room needs total upgrade. this room had algae or mold in the caulking around the sink. carpets need to be replaced. the tile in the bathroom had several cracks in it. the furniture in the room is very old and replacement is long overdue. not pleased. not worth the price. very disappointing for a ramada hotel.
The space of room The cleanliness of the room The location
Wifi was very bad Front desk was not very prompt and helpful especially with the location of the room. It is a big hotel and the it could be complicated in finding your room. A little help would have been appreciated
It was quiet and the staff were really accommodating.
The hot tub is supposed to be open year around and it wasn't, the pool also closed early.
The lobby area was nice and gave the impression of a much nicer place than what you found once you made it closer to the rooms.
The pillows on the beds were lumpy and old. The bathroom was dirty in the corners of the floor and the sink faucet was hard to turn on.
When we first got there, you couldn't even open the door. The card worked but the door was jammed shut. We went to the front desk and they just said lift the handle up, so we tried again lifting the handle up. It worked after pretty much having to kick our door in. The beds were fine. We got up the next morning and the shower was disgusting. I went to brush my teeth in the sink and the sink would not turn on and the nozzle broke off. I stayed here for a maximum of 10 hours just to sleep and catch my flight at PDX early in the morning. I will never stay here again.
Location is at airport. Only reason to stay here is airport access. No restaurant, none conveniently close. Hotel is clean , beds comfortable and wi- fi worked fine. But there are limited shuttle seats and you need to make sure you reserve one if needed. The shuttle driver when I stayed was excellent.
Desk staff seemed young, overworked and underpaid.
Location location location. Very close to the airport for the price.
I've stayed here for years. However after this time I probably will not return. Very run down inside: our room had peeling wall paper, not hot water just warm, stained carpet and leaking facet. Neglected facility quite sad for there is a lot of potential.
