Very close to airport, shuttle arrived quickly and check-in was very quick. Price was excellent for the value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Halls/facility a little dingy in places, but was great in others. Might just need a little facelift.
I requested a non-smoking room and when I checked in I was offered a different room to be away from the smoking area. The airport shuttle is convenient.
The shower faucet was difficult to turn on.
We like the staff. James is great and everyone seems happy to help. They have a pool and sauna! The internal entrance and in-house dining make it a really good place to stay for late returns and departures. We will be back!
Sometimes it is a little old or funky but that is expected. Work out space is not well equipped.
Furniture broke, holes in walls, burn holes in carpet.they don't use heat for motel and took three trys to get a room with heat.bathrooms in general area were mostly out of order ,all in all I would sleep in my car before spending another dime at this place.
I loved the fact that they had a 24hr shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. For those of you who don't know, the MAX train that goes downtown is right next to the airport which makes it so easy to take the shuttle to the airport than the train downtown and go sight seeing. Be sure to ask for a shuttle card. The card has a direct number to the driver and the driver can meet you back at the airport. For those of you trying to save abit on their trip this is a great option not to mention Portland has great transportation ($5 all day!!)
Really needs a good paint job and serious renovation.
No remote for TV. Staff said they would bring one but didn't. Pealing wallpaper. Heater sounded like a freight train. Only one thin blanket. Hair in tub. bathroom by front desk smelled like raw sewage. they must allow smoking as the hall and then our room smelled of smoke.
--free shuttle w/ friendly driver --Quiet, especially so close to airport --chocolate brownie in onsite restauarant --very comfortable bed --fridge and microwave
hallways were quite chilly, but the heat worked great in the room
Room not clean. The bed not clean and smell bad. old Furniture. no breakfast. air conditioner very noisy. smell smoking inside hotel.
the gentleman at the front desk took pitty on me after I found out that they were overbooked and he gave me a suite for the price of the single room I had reserved.
they were overbooked, yet it still allowed me to make a reservation. I wasn't informed until I got there. The lady I spoke to at the front desk when I first got there was totally apathetic and not helpful at all.
Got up at 4am to fly out and had no hot water. Desk clerk simple said "sorry for the inconvinence" and nothing more. It was 26 degrees outside and had cold water to get ready with. Will never stay again!
Staff was excellent really. Superb welcome. Quick and swift registering, no complaints whatsoever.
For being 'hotel of the year' in 2013, the bathroom looked like it was there since the 70s. Awkward. Not at all maintained. Wrong materials used. Wallpaper curling off the wall from the moisture of bathroom use. Mold on the curtain. Bed was fine though. Luckily I didn't bring a UV light. Good for one short night. Very very very basic
Terrible workout room
Price convenient location to airport for early morning flights shuttle also available.
the pricing was great
getting there was akward
Very close with shuttle to the aiport. Large rooms. quiet.
Staff lied when asked about air. They kniw the whole wing does not have air. Room was to hot and could not leave window open 1st floor. Soft spot in middle of shower warm water took forever
Near to the airport, but not too noisy. No complimentary breakfast, but the restaurant breakfast was very good, wait staff were friendly, and it was reasonably priced.
The room was freezing upon arrival and we were traveling with an infant, took approx. 3 hours until it was just tolerable. The heater was very noisy. Bathroom was dirty. A lamp was unplugged and when we moved the nightstand to plug the lamp in, it was filthy behind it.
The lady that check us in, was very helpful. Also the lady in the lounge really went out of her way to be helpful and friendly.
needed a lot of tlc in our room #105. It seem that they were letting the room run down.
I literally liked nothing, this place is incensiti e to customers.. Rented two rooms first room broken facet , broken showers .. Friends had to use our bathroom.. Rooms need a sever upgrade.. At least a thorough cleaning!! Inexcusable! Management seemed to care less after learning of our issue.. Il never go back to this property again! Never!!
See above comments:( sad .. Incredibly sad
Did like the room. Nice
Did not like the staff. Rude. One of the ladies keep flipping her hair while helping people. Did not great you.
Lounge restroom dirty and smelly
- Loved the staff (counters and shuttle drivers) - The Wi-Fi connection is great - Hotel is perfectly located ('around the airport's corner') - Sofas in the front :-)
- Food at Lea's restaurant and coffee is terrible - The lady helping at the restaurant in the late afternoons-evenings (but morning lady is great) - There is no elevator and is hard to get a room in the first floor - Some areas still need to be refurbished
I like the convenience and location of the Ramada.
The only glitch in my experience was checking in. There was a "shift change" that was to have started as soon as I approached the front desk. I was made aware of this and told that it would only take a few minutes. Ten minutes later, the same person who had informed me of the change, checked me in. I found this rather confusing as the register that he used was not the one that the employee coming on was using. He had walked past it several times and even used the phone to call a cab for another guest. Of all the chaos in world this was pretty minor, however interesting.
