old facility, need renovation, smell bad
friendly, helpful staff. clean rooms and convenient location. couldn't ask for more for the price I paid
not that this is a big issue, but maybe a little more variety for breakfast
The fact that it was pet friendly and had a fenced in area to accommodate my pets.
Management was very rude and the room fair. Cigarette burns in the sheets, bathrooms NOTHING like the pictures online. Very displeased.
This place is a great value for the money. It was clean and located just minutes from downtown. It is not fancy, but it has everything you need.
Location, price , quiet (except Sat nights), pretty area
I found the property a bit complicated esp when I arrived very late. NO ice in my building, had to walk a long way or drive around the building to get it, no beverage machines. Beds are very uncomfortable. The entire facility is very dated but that's ok. The rooms are very sterile looking. The basics that's it. Had a run in w a staff member about ice. Went to the front desk to ask about it - I had to walk down more stairs and then end of the hall. My area machine was broke. I told the WOMEN at the desk it was very inconveniant and she FLIPPED. She loudly and rudely asked what me room number was. I just looked at her and told her she was in a bad need of a day off - I had heard her on the phone as I walked in that she had worked 13 days in a row. Anyways - this tirade about ice - she put her hand up to my face and told me to got out of the lobby. I was too tired to react but this woman needs help. The dated facility didn't bother me. I liked the location and quiet. All other staff were super nice. Housekeeping is not good. When I arrived the door to the hotel laundry was open - kinda creepy. The last two nights I was there I had one wash cloth and ran out of toilet paper and they were not replenished. I would probably stay again. I liked the quiet, yet secluded, yet close to everything location and the price.
Breakfast was okay, staff was very helpful! Location was okay.
The noise was awful! Disrespectful guests. Couldn't sleep through the night. Grounds were in awful condition. Smelled like cigarettes in a non-smoking building.
The mints at the front desk
The hotel did not seem very clean, also the room did not smell good. There was a dirty sock under my bed.
Large jacuzzi- like tub.Very nice suite.
The staff was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good with lots of choices.
That my GPS couldn't get me there!
I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, but it was better than a lot of places so I won't hold it against them.
Breakfast, staff, location
Hotel needs restoration..
It is a good location with a good price. Five minutes from Biltmore and ten minutes from downtown.
The price was good for the location being close to down town.
My bed spread had a burn and hole in it making it seem old and dirty. The room had a smoke smell too it which made it harder to sleep.
Very good hot breakfast, and friendly staff.
Don't know where the switch for bathroom fan.
The orange juice
Room was dirty, had a smell of mold. Pics of room online were nothing like the actual rooms, breakfast was horrible. Food was stale, did not have shuttle as stated. Etc
The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice place for the money. Very close to Biltmore, which was the reason for our trip.
Free wifi, updated rooms, breakfast.
AC had to keep being adjusted to make room comfortable. Outside entry door to building never locks. Bathroom needed to be updated. Pillows were too flat and did not support well.
The room was nice, clean. Friendly staff.
The people in the room next to us were very loud and yelling at each other.
The breakfast is a carbon copy each day. Reheated sausage links and gravy. Biscuits are served cold (as are the pastries) and the microwave is hard to operate. Not very impressed with "free food".
The bed was awesome
Charging us $ 25.00 a night for 13 lb dogs. They stay in thier kennel and are well behaved .Even with the heat problem we still wasn't asked about a refund or anything.
Location, location, location near Asheville.
It was close to downtown
I found two spiders in our room while we were there! Our toilet paper had also not been replaced and was almost gone when we arrived!
Affordable, convenient to everything! And, checkout is 12!!
Had a wonderful breakfast with biscuits, gravy, eggs and all kinds of other stuff. The staff there was also very attentive and friendly. Room was clean. Had nice channels on the tv, along with shampoo, conditioner and all that other good stuff. A blow dryer was also provided.
