Ice machine did not work on the floor.
The beds were comfortable. Love the pillows. The shower was great.
The room had a musty smell. The room seemed unused for awhile.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Shower would turn from hot to cold every couple of minutes. Breakfast was not very good.
Location, convenience to attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Shower curtain rod about to Fall off. In room refrigerator did not work. TV was of poor quality and picture could not be adjusted to show full screen making viewing hard to watch. Shower hard to turn on and off.
good location. hospitality. comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
difficult to find the hotel sign. There should be a Ramada sign on the main street.
It was difficult to find. The sheets didn't fit on the bed, so the corners came off every time we moved. The place smelled like cigarette smoke and it was not very clean. I would not recommend this place.
Comfortable & spacious room. Hotel is well-situated for drive to downtown Asheville and its interesting restaurants and live music scene, and to Biltmore Estate.
The room was large. We got a great deal on a suite. It has a jacuzzi as well, which was nice.
I didn't like having to go between separate buildings to get between my room and the lobby. There was not enough seating in the lobby for breakfast. Some food at the breakfast bar was allowed to run out and was not replenished.
The beds were very comfortable. Room was a good size for two people. Table and chairs are nice to have optional sitting.
Buildings were spead apart and no covered walkway. No interior stairs to go from floor to floor. It was POURING rain.
Everything was perfectly adequate, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Some way out of town.
Not much !!
The place was run down and not clean at all. The hallways stunk and the grounds were not well kept. Overall a dirty place !
The staff was very helpful and courteous, and the location was within easy access to downtown and other attractions. The upgrade fee to a suite was well worth it.
The only complaint I had was the kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner. However, I was not compelled to go out an buy cleaning supplies and do it myself - which I have done. But then I also was not using the kitchen.
The room was spacey and the layout was good.
Furniture was outdated.
Location was good
The floor we were on was one in the building next door to lobby. Entering from the back of building no lock on main door. Did not seem safe. Staff at front desk said door had been broke for sometime and they hadn't had a problem. Room smelled weird bedspreads were old and worn out. Will not stay there again.
The smoking rooms
The location and staff were very good. The rooms were quiet, clean and well decorated.
The western facing rooms could use window shades as the western Sun heated up the rooms. Also look into luggage ramps to assist in bringing up luggage to the third floor rooms. The breakfast was well presented, but poor. Yes, I know it's free, but I'm sure Ramada's profit margin can afford breakfast sandwiches and the like.
Killed 2 bugs Carpet in breakfast room filthy Top of shower stall moldy & dirty Soap scum in soap holder Disposable cups - torn wrappers Grit build-up around faucet and toilet paper holder "Burnt out" exterior stair well lights No lights on concrete stairs
The evening front desk attendant was very nice and apologized and got us another room.
We got our room and as we went down the stairs you could smell that damp mildew smell strong. It was that way in the hall and our room had a lessor smell so we decided to stay until a few minuets latter we found a cockroach in bathroom. They moved us to the upper building which has new carpet where as in the first room it was old. About 11:30 that night I felt something hit my head and a cockroach ran across my bed to floor and disappeared. My wife was asleep or we would have left. The next morning we had breakfast which was the worst I have ever had. I went to front desk and handed her my keys and told her what had happened and she didn't even say they were sorry she just said she would have maintenance check it out. I also told her it looked like someone had kept a cat in room at sometime because you could see where it had scratched the fibers out of chair seat on both sides of one of chairs. She said that that was not a pet building and she would have maintenance look at it.
Hotel is older but clean and good breakfast bar.
Beds were hard as hell, very uncomfortable.
Beside the freeway
Difficult to find, really tired furniture, broken tiles in the bathroom.
The suite was spacious, and very quiet
The furniture and carpet smelled closed up and could use some updating
it was clean.
Away from interstate where you could not hear the constant noise of auto traffic.
Broken toilet seat, one table light didn't work, bathtub didn't drain properly, could have used more pillows on the bed, seating chair had seen its day and needs to be replaced, tv could have used a channel guide and a list of shows on tv; very bad when you have to surf and surf to find something to watch, and also room lacked adequate plug-ins to charge phones, cameras, nooks, etc.
