Ramada Inn and Suites Costa Mesa/Newport Beach    

I enjoyed being close to the beach and all of the staff were incredibly friendly

I wish there was a complimentary breakfast- even if it was small- simply having breakfast available to you in the morning to come and get it when you are ready is a huge convenience.

There was a restaurant/bar and pool on site and the staff were very friendly. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room so we were able to purchase food from the local shop and have breakfast and snacks in the room without eating out for every meal. (The staff happily lent us cutlery and crockery to take to our rooms) The room was large and also had a sofa, which made it easier to relax, rather than just sitting on the bed all the time. There were films availabe to purchase on the tv for $5 whcih we took advantage of.

There was free Wi-fi but the connection wasnt very strong so you had to keep sitting by the window to get it. The hotel was a 2 mile walk from the beach, so with hindsight, I probably would have booked somewhere closer to the beach, but other than that, the location was fine with lots of good shops and bars within walking distance

They didn't have my reservation at check-in. They said in their records that I had stayed there the week before (I had never been there before in my life). They told me it was a booking.com error and wanted to charge me for the rooms a second time. They also didn't have any of the rooms available that I had reserved, so instead of 2 queen bed rooms we got 1 king bed each. We had a lot of people with us, so we really needed the extra bed space and didn't get it. They were not very apologetic or accommodating.

really liked the price and the location. I was happy to find a good rate so close to PCH and Newport Beach.

I found the front desk staff polite but not at all interested. When I checked out after 5 nights the woman at the desk did not even ask me if I had enjoyed my stay.

Excellent service, quiet, convenient, very helpful staff and good food.

Close to beach

Staff always yelling in Spanish during the day time between each other..So loud! Can hear people passing room due to very thin windows. So in general wasn't quiet at all.

Wifi said it was connected but could not bring up email or web pages Lighting in room was bad

Noise at night and the obvious prostitution going on.

The location and price. Also the free airport shuttle.

Got put in a handicap room even though its not what I booked. Staff not that friendly. Seemed like drug deals were going on in some of the other rooms.

Facility was modern and clean. Location was perfect for our needs. Staff was friendly.

Room needs more than two towels... Otherwise great!

Having used your facility (we usually use Marriott), so as not to have to drive into Newport so early in the morning for an early morning departure from the harbor, we picked it because of cost and location. Unfortunately, there were some hotel guests 1 or 2 rooms down that were quite noisy and sleep was not happening for us. We even had someone knock on our door, and when we got up to see who was there, there wasn't anyone outside. Had we planned on staying another nite, we would have probably tried getting a different room or just not stayed.

Both my wife and I had difficulty sleeping because the pillows were lumpy.

Cafe convenient. Restaurant on site. Breakfast special for guests. Free parking. Location close by beach and shops. Trader Joes across the street

Pretty atmosphere, clean grounds, easy parking.

That our room was right by the elevators and there was a lot of parking

i had to pay for a roll away bed when i thought it was free, plus all the taxes that i had to pay was crazy. my room was 119.00 but i ended up paying 145.. i had to call the front desk 5 x's because they didn't put the roll away bed in until 10:00p.m. when i asked them around 4*5 when i got there.

Room was clean, staff was helpful. Eating places in walking distance. Denny's was bad, we didn't get seated for five minutes and didn't get drinks after another five minutes. Walked out and found a great place called Pizza Land across the parking lot. My wife loved the buffet and my sub was top notch.

TV was old! New flat screens could not be that expensive! There are still smoking rooms (yuck!).

The beds were comfortable and the room relaxing. Very clean room and the grounds were very clean and neatly manicured landscaping. It was very nice to have laundry facility on the premises and the pool was a nice large size and an appealing hot tub. I was happy to have an elevator to go to our 2nd story room.

The wifi was not accessible for most of our electronics. Between 2 smart phones and a Kindle Fire and an iPod, the iPod was the only device that worked.

It was convenient to the airport

Albergo molto valido con ampio parcheggio gratuito. Struttura in ordine e pulita. Consigliato.

Het hotel is een fijn hotel met zwembad. De kamers zijn zeer prettig. Hotelpersoneel is behulpzaam. Winkels en eetgelegenheden in de directe omgeving (kan ook bij hotel). Het hotel ligt op 1.5 tot 2 km van het strand net iets te ver om te lopen maar parkeren is goed mogelijk in de buurt van het strand. Een mooi en gezellig strand! Echt een aanrader.
