There was a bad smell in the six floor hallway. Very unpleasant and not up to the standards of the Wyndham Hotel Group. Also, there was a bad air smell when opening the door way of my room 601. It it lightly smelled like marijuana, although it was supposed to be a non smoking room. No garbage can in the bathroom, and no curtain to block out the morning sunshine is if it the intention to wake you up so you leave before 10. In the morning, the food was cold and the or and the orange juice was not real. It was a drink mix. Very upsetting. Also a female customer was complain about the waffle maker being dirty after finding her waffle cooked with a bunch of black grease. She spoke to one of the hotel workers and he could not explain why it was not cleaned before place out for use in the morning. I choose Ramada because I thought it had a top scale experience. Based on the experience I had I think I will stick to one of the Choice Hotels brands. Thank you for the clean sheets, working TV, big shower head and warm water, and clean towels. Sherwayne.

I don't like their breakfast , I feel it has to much sugar.they should add more fruit and protein.
Location, convenient to commute to Manhattan. 3 blocks from 169 St subway station, easy to travel to Manhattan and JFK airport.
I was given a room which was too noisy, their windows are of very thin/light glass and noise from Hillside Ave traffic will not let anyone sleep at night. The stay may become comfortable only if you get a room at the rear side, away from avenue/st. Staff at the front desk, especially the young gentleman in evening/night shift, is not friendly towards guests and need to possess positive attitude. He did not greet me or even looked at me when I appeared in front of his desk. While checking in after giving my ID, he asked "booking is in whose name", which was unnecessary as it was booked in my name and I gave my ID. I also gave him the booking reference number, but still he was doubtful about my reservation. When I gave my visa card for guarantee of payment, again he asked, "you booked with a debit card, but now you are giving a visa card"...when I asked whether or not it is mandatory to use the same card used for booking, he said "no, not necessary". He seemed to be doubtful on everything of guests.

no microwave in the rooms had to go to the lobby to warm anything up and not enough parking
I like that it was close to buses and subways. I like that you could open the windows.
It smelled horrible in the room. The tisse rolls where used up with a few sheets left. Towel had hair on it, pillows had hair on it and the sheets had hair in them. The chair was old and worn out. It looked like the appliances had a finish on them that bleed through and was stained on the appliances. The elevator took forever to come, it was the only elevator in the hotel. It was old carpet there and just a nasty smell that smelled like curry, must mixed wth cologne and dirty clothes.. I would not recommend you staying here unless you can take that smell. I don't plan to ever stay there again..
I didn't like the fact the curtains couldn't close even though the hotel had an apartment building next door. Parking was very limited and housekeeping was poor
Location close to subway to all points in NYC. Hotel is located in the neighborhood. Lots of places to eat. Ethnically diverse area. Staff friendly and helpful. Room adequate. Safe area to travel to and from subway to hotel.
Issues with the TV cable stations. Stations faded in and out.
the location was only 4 blocks from the subway. the area was rich with indian culture. i am a non-indian, but live to see other cultures. Breakfast was great touch.
the room was very cramped. Parking was extremely poor. The towels were very dingy. Needed healthier choices with breakfast.

Smoky smell in bathroom; first floor room was inconvenient with street noise and lobby noise, especially since people were just hanging out in the lobby late at night; when we asked for a room higher up, we were told that none existed
The only positive experience was the location as it was close to JFK and the specific store I needed to visit on Jamaica Avenue. The room was stuffy, internet unavailable and staff could have done better.

room was clean and comfortable
Parking facilities were misleading. There is space for only 5 cars - not exactly parking facilities for a hotel. We came from a wedding reception in the area and ended driving back to New Jersey which is what we wanted to avoid in the first place. They advised there was paid parking in the vicinity but did it was closed when we got there. Night clerk was not helpful and a bit rude.

Horrible cleanliness. There was a nasty spot on the sofa. Restroom toilet was not flushed from previous guests. Carpet, elevator, and beds are not comforting at all. A lot of pan handlers and trespassers were hanging around in the lobby.
I likes the size of the room.
As soon as we walked in house keeping was talking in their language and laughing in our direction...RUDE. They ran out of waffle mix and other breakfast items. Not only did they not even try to at least accommodate the problem they had attitudes with us guess for asking for anything. NeVER AGAIN
Liked the location and nearness of public transports, including subway station. One can be in Manhattan in 45 mins by F train.
Front desk staff of the night shift was rude. They kept me waiting for 4 hours to check-in as my flight arrived early. While booking online, I requested for early check-in, but the staff at front desk said that there was no guarantee of rooms! Rooms were dirty, especially carpets.
The hotel fair is moderate & location is good.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is good. The location is near a metro station but the ride to Times Square is about 30 minutes. I don't recommend this hotel if you want to visit New York.
Our room was facing a street with a lot of traffic and it was so noisy at first we tought the window was open. The climatisation makes a lot of noise and starts and stops all the times so it was really hard for me to sleep well.
