Ernesto is always very friendly Social hour is a great idea Location was ideal Refrigerator in room The TV wasn't working New owners so liquor license so there was no alcohol at the social hour, which made it not so social. I enjoyed meeting people last time.

Stayed there several times before. Wouldn't use the place as a luxury destination but everythting I need for business was/is in place. Property is getting a little tired and is starting to need work. Clerk mentioned property has new owners with remodeling plans.

Friendly and helpful staff Rooms were in bad need of a refresh. I was in 105 and the door locks and latches appear to be very old. The light switched are yellowed and nasty looking and I thought twice before touching them. Room appeared clean but it's just very weathered. Last minute biz trip so I guess you get what you pay for but I expected more from a Ramada property.

The desk clerk was accommodating and upgraded our room when we told her how bad it was. The second room was much nicer and still had smoke in the sitting area. Nonsmoking rooms have heavy odor of smoke.

The hotel was fine, we're welcomed very friendly. The pool area is nice with a 1st level terrace to relax a bit. We didn't like the breakfast, noisy room with average quality. We actually threw it away and had some granola bars. On checkout the receptionist wanted to charge our creditcard again although our room was prepaid. Mistakes can happen but she wasn't being very friendly. I always hate it when something like that happens when you leave a place... Location wasn't what we expected, we should have booked something in downtown.

Friendly staff, great breakfast and happy hour!! Mini-suite was good, we would like a more sunny location next time, in a dark corner. Very strong cleaning odor that was difficult for us as we are allergic to intense smells.

The hotel layout was nice and the beds were comfortable. The night staff was very pleasant. In the morning, there was no hot water! Absolutely cold. They said it would be resolved within half an hour. An hour and a half later, it was not resolved and we finally had to leave. They were very unhelpful at the front desk and did not take any responsibility for this, even though it is an issue of habitability. We paid full price for a room with no hot water. I was told the manager would call me about this, but I never received a phone call. Also, two of the soda machines were broken and the coffee maker in the room barely worked. I would not stay here again and would not trust the staff as their behavior in handling this issue was not professional nor acceptable.

The staff was very friendly. The internet was free. We got a free room upgrade. The room smelled funny. The outlet by the bed did not work, so I could not plug my computer in and work on the bed. The desk chair was too short for the table, and although supposedly adjustable, would not adjust.

I have traveled extensively and found the Tucson Ramada to be one of the nicest places in which I have ever stayed. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean, the effort to make one's stay a pleasant one was superb (outstanding breakfast and happy hour offerings for the price), and above all the staff was consistently friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I have stayed at many well-known and well-appointed five or six star hotels and have rarely encountered such a well trained and caring staff as that which I found at the Tucson Ramada. I freely give this hotel my strongest recommendation possible and I will definitely use it now every time that I visit friends in Tucson. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay and my 87 year old father lends his full agreement to the above as he found that the staff went out of their way to assist him if he had needs or questions. It is a wonderful place for solo, elderly, business, and family travelers alike. I would recommend that you let people know in advance about the taxes that will be included in the final price of the rooms as this may be a bit of a surprise to foreign (in Europe all taxes are included in the quoted prices) or senior (they may be on tight budgets that do not allow for surprises) travelers.

The staff, in particular the front desk personnel and the man who ran the cafeteria were excellent. The hot breakfast items were good. The hotel is generally clean. The location was very convenient for me, as it is quite close to the Tucson Medical Clinic (TMC), where I had undergone a medical procedure. Excellent deal for the price. The bathroom needed lots of work. The toilet seat was loose and not connected to the porcelain. The shower water handle was loose and impossible to adjust the water temperature. The shower stall walls had flecks of mildew all over them. Fix these problems and I would definitely recommend this facility.

Noise. It smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoke. I became sick from the smoke smell. Front desk insisted it was a non-smoke room even though I got sick from the smoke smell. Another person also could smell the smoke which came through the air-conditioner vent.

The place needs refurbishing. Its disappointing and depresing to have to be met by rooms that are sadly decorated and poorly furnished. Its destroying your Brand if I find that when I arrive its a dump. next time I will use another site.
