Liked the pricevery much! Small cost of around $10 to get into Midtown Manhattan by taxi. Rooms were stylish and clean, change of towels, beds made and replensihed coffee sachets each day. Good quality coffee machine in room and comfortable beds with nice cotton covers. You would find it hard to get something nearer to Midtown at this price! Also has fantastic views of Manhattan on the rooftop! No tea making facilities in the room, although found that the 'rooftop terrace' offered tea and juice included in the room price, though we stubbled upon this and was not informed by the hotel - you can have breakfast up there but meals were not included in my booking. The rooftop terrace can be very noisy on certain nights, though this did not bother my group, it was loud and did go on until 3 in the morning, so maybe not a good idea for a family trip? We had rooms with balcony though faced the main road, no view to speak of here, the only good view is on the roof and you will need to pay for Taxi's (or subway) to get to and from Manhattan as nothing is within walking distance.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The shuttle service is very convinient. There is a rooftop restaurant/club that you can hear from your room at night. I makes it nearly impossible to sleep.

The views from the roof are amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel also offered complimentary shuttle services but they were on the hour so we didn't use them. Extremely noisey, if your going to new york you need a good night's sleep which I don't think this hotel offers. Although the bed was comfortable it wasn't enough as the walls were paper-thin and literally shook when another guest walked by.

The staff was excellent, gave us all the information we asked for and more than that. The room was very good. The bathroom was large, cool and awesome shower, flu big and good power. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff who worked there. Cleaning was exemplary. Disadvantages of the room were two, if the woman was sitting at the table I had to go over the bed or ask her to stand up. On weekends the music is played too strong at the restaurant, so they music passes into the room. After eight you can not talk without screaming at the restaurant because the music is too loud and I do not recommend that people eat there in the evening. Two nights of 5 were personal integrity and we could not eat in the restaurant, we were not notified in advance and it was quite uncomfortable because we had planned to eat at the hotel.

Very good value for being so close to Manhattan. Front desk staff were professional, friendly & helpful. Great shuttle service to the subway (10 min walk) or to the many great local restaurants (15 min walk). Rooms were trendy, bed was comfortable. Will stay there again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the noise from outside and the night club was minimal. I guess you will only have issues if you have a room one level down of the club but that is stated also in the elevators. You can request another room if you would like to. When using the subway it's very easy to get into Manhatten so the distance between Manhatten and Queens doesn't really matter that much. The location can sometimes be a bit annoying since it's not that close to the subway. It's about 10 min. walk. There is a shuttle service which helps a lot. The only thing I didn't like is that you have to call them when you are returning. Leaving from the hotel is no problem at all and they can drop you off on any location you like to go.

The hotel was exactly like it was shown on the website. The shuttle was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was fabulous and the room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was good, priced reasonably for New York and the view of the Queensboro bridge and the Manhattan skyline was awesome both during the day and at night! Our only complaint was that there could be more lighting in the room. That is a personal preference though and we figured that it was their intent to add to the ambience of a boutique hotel.

View to Manhattan from the roof during the breakfast, plus it's amazing in the evening. The room was clean, big and comfortable. Hotel is near of the city center by subway. A free shuttle to subway every 30-60 min. The breakfast can be more various, there was no cheese or eggs. It's a little bit fare from the subway by walk especially in the evening when there is no people on the street because it's a like industrial area. Wifi in the room is not for free. But all of these are not big minuses.

Free shuttle and local restaurants just up the road The hotel was a complete waste of money!!!! We had the stupid night club going all night till 4am with bass rattling the room and when I complained they didn't care, as a result we missed our day trip because we overslept because we were so tired from being kept even after jetlag from Australia. The room floor was uneven, like the slab had been laid in 5mins, the shower was dirty (shower floor was greasy) it just didn't match up to the photos and reviews it had about it. I am a world traveller and worked in hotel management and this was the worst I have ever seen!

Great value for money. The panaroma on the roof is absolutely beautiful. This is where the breakfest is. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are a woman or an elderly, you might not feel safe walking through the neigborhood. We have not encountered any 'bad' people, but it is a neigbourhood with few houses and many businesses. We actually liked this, but don't expect to find an h&m around the corner.

I loved that the room was extremely clean and very modern. I did not appreciate some of the staff but there was a girl at the front desk who was very pleasant. It was very loud because they have rooftop parties on the weekend. It seemed like I was on an episode of Jersey Shore and the location is a bit scary because of the area.
