The availability of the shuttle bus on call from the station. Free car parking. The rooftop bar/restaurant is an oasis for locals as well as guests, with a spectacular view of Manhattan.
The neighbourhood. But in a few years it will be transformed, including completion of a large extension to the hotel. It's a good walk to the nearest train station, but the half-hour shuttle bus schedule is not inconvenient.
Our room was on the 5th floor with a beautiful view. The staff was quick and courteous.
The bed was sunken in the middle. The bathroom in the room could have been a bit cleaner. Our room consistently smelled like cigarette smoke.
The hotel has a night club on the roof which played loud music from midnight to 4 am. The room literally vibrated and the noise was outrageous.
Definitely staying here again! Room was cute, beds comfy, hotel rooftop gorgeous. So close and convenient to the city. Amazing!
proximity from time square shuttle from the hotel to the subway free parking view on the top of the hotel (restaurant)
size of the room no shuttle after 23h00 (15 minutes walk from the subway in the queens...) expensive restaurant on top (breakfast and supper).
- room was clean - staff was normal, nothing special
- awful surroundings - there is a penthouse disco on the roof - its not good first impression when you come on the saturday night to check in and there is lot of people waiting for the disco in row, music is loud and they give you room next to the lift which is really noisy - too expensive for the room in unpleasant locality without breakfast - photos are made professionally, actually the hotel is much smaller inside
good value for the money, but breakfast should be included in the price.
The staff is so accommodating, you would think you are at a five star resort. The view from the rooftop restaurant/bar/disco, unbelievable, it is considered one of the finest in the world. Just a fine time, and their shuttle service will take you the nearest station and other destinations.
They are expanding(man the expansion is going to be gorgeous)so some of the onsite parking, has been temporarily lost, but there is ample parking around!
Obviously the view and the restaurant lounge is what guests pay for.The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel lobby staff is not friendly.Their WiFi is free only in the lobby and additional charges apply for ur room. The TV signal was very poor.Although the room looked cleaned it didn't have that crisp smell of "clean".Furniture needed a good overhaul.Ice machines not on every floor and no signs giving us this info was posted anywhere.By noeans is this a 5 star hotel.
Nice decor. Friendly staff. Shuttle service.
Lack of parking. No pool yet.
Rude staff General manager talks like a thug and treats his guests the same way Dirty rooms Mildue and filth in bathroom Cleaning staff not efficient - every 5 minutes you have a different person knocking on your door
We liked the shuttle service and the roof top restaurant was great. The beds were very confortable and the rooms were spacious.
The location was not ideal
The hotel is amazing, the staff is wonderful. The view is worth staying in this hotel. Free shuttle to and from subway station
It was hard to find this hotel even with GPS. Construction. When the swimming pool will be opened next year, it will be better.
The the penthouse
The wait at the penthouae
Rude snobby staff when we check-in, poor maintenance on the interior of the rooms, paint on the walls are flaking off, furnitures have lots of scratches and looks like we're staying in a dump! Shower is gross, many noise from pipes. The second night we stayed there, the whole room smells like toilet for the whole night! And don't even go for the $13 breakfast, not many choice of food selection for the money you spent. You can go on the rooftop and take some pictures and leave, The view on the rooftop is the only thing worth seeing there.
Great bathrooms. Fantastic view from the penthouse level Funky restaurant Shuttle option from the hotel to stations and vice-versa Just a short Met ride into Manhattan
A long way away from anything The nearby area is a bit dodgy No free wifi in the rooms, you had to connect in the lobby
Quite and enjoyable sleeping! Very clean. Have service cars to take you airport with reasonable fee.
Restaurant is full of party people. No other restaurant nearby. Besides, breakfast and wifi is expensive (13&10 respectively). Not very far from subway station.
The hotel was outside the city but just across the Queensborough bridge. A train a and shuttle from the station will get you there. The view of the skyline was beautiful. The room was nice. The staff was helpful.
You couldn't get into the rooftop restaurant with a reservation on a Wednesday night.
Room Cleanliness, scheduled times for shuttle
Never enjoyed my sleep every weekend. You can't have a club in a hotel building and music too loud until about 3am atimes every weekend. Security is a bit porous, anyone can easily enter the building
Bathroom area renovated nicely.
Hotel carpets, very soiled. Room carpet, frayed. Room smelled of urine. Chair torn & patched with tape.
I would recommend a separate entrance away from the front doors for the night club.
We got upgraded to a suite without even asking. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got free parking in the hotel lot for 2 full days, even before check in and after checking out!
The area is a bit dodgy! 15 min walk to subway in an industrial area.
Location and view
Water at front desk!!
Wine in lobby ... Lots of empty bottles.
Hotel is a nice trendy spot with easy access to the city. The roofbar is a really nice place to hang out and the best part it's just a few floors from your room! If you're young and can handle a little nighttime traffic and noise this hotel is great.
The drinks are so overpriced! Using the elevator is a pain in the nights due to rooftop traffic.
