Score from 15 reviews Very good
Very helpful and friendly staff. Placed me in a bigger room when the room I had reserved earlier that day had been already reserved (this is a problem with internet booking sites; sometimes their information isn't always accurate if you are trying to book a room on the same day).
Location was excellent, easy to find. The continental breakfast was very good, had a good night sleep.
The room required a maid to come back & finish cleaning it. The staff & maids were very willing to make the room "right". I didn't like the pool being outside...it was enclosed, but no heat system, was chilly
Dirty, and smoking right outside of doors so hotel smelled of smoke.
I did not like finding hair in the bed, along with stains, and what looked like a bug. I did not like the staff's defensive response to my finding the above. I did not like all the handwritten signs that stressed ONLY One Cookie per person, or NO removing food from the dining area. Not very inviting. I did not like the fact that when we informed the front desk person that my husband was dis-abled and inquired about a first floor room, we were told that because I had not included that information in my booking notes there were no first floor rooms available. Then, when we brought attention to the poor conditions of our room, we first were told that they would give us a refund and we could go elsewhere, because there was no staff to clean the room. When I replied,"Is that your response to a Dis-abled American Veteran?" That's when all of a sudden there was a CLEAN, 1st Floor room available. This isn't even the whole of our poor experience : (
There was a room available
Old, dirty, outdated, and bad breakfast
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, decent breakfast. It is an older building. It was clean enough and the breakfast was good. Carpets were worn, but clean enough. I would stay again
Could have used better mattress. I thought the rate was a little high. Not bad though.
Microwave and refrigerator in room.
Office not open until after departure time. Had to request hair dryer and room had no shampoo or lotion. Ice machine empty and could not reice our ice chest before a day's travel.
Worn out beds.
Price, breakfast, front desk staff
Carpet in pet-friendly room was in fairly bad shape
Obnoxious male desk clerk (maybe manager?)
Dirty outside, so I immediately knew inside would be too. Two employees were talking and eating popcorn behind the desk when we checked in. I was so uncomfortable with the condition of the room, I slept in my clothes. Door was rotting, soap dish falling off wall, carpets dirty. I have been a guest in a motel many times and never experienced such deplorable conditions. Deadline to cancel was Noon the day before we arrived, so we were trapped. We skipped showering in the morning because of the conditions. Days Inn is now shared as a family joke for my husband and I and our daughter and grandson who were in another room.
Location was very close to freeway. Easy access and easy to locate.
Room was supposto be non-smoking, smelled like smoke when I got in there. Heater was not working correctly, I could smell exhaust from my window from outside trucks/cars. My concern was mainly when I got into shower, I could see mold that had been "scrubbed" off in the shower, and around the shower top- paint. The curtain rod was new, and nice, but the mold was still visible on the paint. At least paint over the mold instead of just bleach it out if you are going to the trouble of replacing the curtain rod with a nice one, which it was, I was impressed with it, I even took down the brand for my boys shower at home.
Room was not very clean. Dust was gathering at least two inches around bases of the beds and the caulking around the base of the tub was black. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. Plug-ins were dangerously loose would not hold a plug. We had to find a good outlet to plug in the hotels television to make it work.
Great breakfast burritos
The green paint on our door was chipped where it looked like someome had tried to break in. It needed to be painted. The plaster was in poor shape around the tub. It just needed more upkeep.
Close to I-80
The halls stunk. The room had a smell. Curtains were in need of repair. Bathroom sink has some kind of stain in it. Need to add eggs to the breakfast(scrambled is fine).
Excellent staff ..clean room. good location. Got upgraded to a king suite. King bed and sofa sleeper. Needed 2 beds, got that.
sofa sleeper was in very poor condition. Support was torn loose at foot of bed. no extra blanket. Price was a bit high for the quality of the room. Needs a little updating.
Both beds had dirty shoe prints on them.
