Noise level was awful....both in-house and from outside. We listened to airplanes flying low until at least 11PM. We also heard TVs and conversations in other rooms. Bath tubs had drainage problems. There were no coffee pot in the rooms.

In a quiet location close to airport with transportation provided. Even though I arrived at midnight, the staff was great and the room very comfortable.

No refrigerator or microwave in the room. We had a power failure an no generators so we were in the dark for hours.

Friendly and basic, needed to be close to the airport for an early flight and everything was very smooth. Even with a power outage in the area for almost an hour.

A couple of staff members don't have the strongest customer service attitude. Not rude, just not friendly and helpful.

Close to highway

The price was high for the limited room space and accommodations.

We stayed here twice. We liked the airport shuttle service.upon our return trip, we came in at night and had to wait only about 5 minutes for the shuttle. It was terrific. The driver was so helpful!

I made my reservations via booking.com. I also called because I wanted to know how park and fly worked. I was told it was free. Free isn't the $15 I was charged. I have to say $15 is reasonable but still, I was told it was free.

Location

Front desk staff; not friendly at all. Did not greet me upon arrival. Attitide was as if i were bothering them by checking in ( asian female, african male). The male did at least stop was he was doing to check me in. The asian female just rolled her eyes at me and ignored me.

It was close to the airport and they offered a free shuttle to the airport. The staff was very courteous and friendly. There was a convenience store on the property which made it handy to get things you needed. The continental breakfast that was offered was good .

The bed was not comfortable at all. The two things they called pillowswere flat and hard as rocks. The carpet was damp and when I turned on the air to freshen the room it smelled sooty. I didn't sleep well at all. I probably should have complained but I figured they gave me the worst room since I got it so cheap.

Location and quietness. Even located right on the side of a major highway it was a quiet room.

The non-refundable part. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and we wanted to up-grade or switch hotels. This was not an option. I will never do non-refundable again - this trip taught me that lesson.

Location was great!

Rooms were very small and bed was not comfortable. I asked for a refund so I could go to another hotel in the area, but was refused. They would not give me a refund even though I was unhappy. I will never choose Microtel again.

Very convenient to have a continental breakfast available at 5:30 am. I had to be out of the hotel that day by 6:30.

I was in a non smoking section of the hotel, and I'm pretty sure that everyone within 20 yards of my room was smoking - including the people in the connecting room. I had to put towels on the floor across the bottom of the entry and connecting doors to try to keep the cigarette smoke out. Not good. I'm going to have to give the hotel a not recommend because I don't know anyone who smokes. Perfect for budget conscious smokers who smoke in non-smoking rooms, however.

The Comfort and being close to the Airport.

Parking lot was packed and couldn't find a spot near my room. Had to park at the other end of the building.

I liked the personalized shuttle service from car rental return and to the airport from hotel. I liked that someone fixed the heater immediately for me--no waiting.

The breakfast bar wasn't open before I had to leave for airport. It would have been a nice courtesy to be able to request a "to- go" box the night before.

Super convenient to RDU and fantastic value. If you need a hotel close to RDU, great value and comfortable then this is an excellent choice. King bed comfortable, room small but fully functional, bathroom fine too. Overall for purpose required - excellent. I.e. late night arrival, close to RDU, clean, comfortable, great value. Wifi works fine.

It's close to an airport so expect the first planes in 5:30 to 6am and they are loud so you don't need to set a wake up call with reception! Moral - if you don't want aircraft noise then don't stay by the airport. Breakfast is basic but frankly given it is included in a low room price it is churlish to complain.

Lack of soundproofing in windows so near the runways--but flights did seem to stop before midnight.
