Price of room
Need a TV in both bedrooms.
We liked the location. We were in Boone for ASU's Parent Weekend, and the location is excellent.
We had to change rooms as our first room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be "smoke free". The 2nd room smelled of it also, but not as bad and I did see someone coming out of a "smoke free" room with a lit cigarette. The grounds could have been kept cleaner also.
Lady at desk been there 9 yr needs attitude adjustment.
The Motel is in a perfect location. Easy access to everything.
Price for the motel being as current, could have been a little less in price.
very clean and tidy for how old the facility is needs were met as far as room amenities close to ASU and Boone downtown cheaper than all area hotels
plastic mattress covers crackle every time you move on the bed older facility, some holes in the shower wall near knobs
Cost & location close to campus and King Street
Room was not very clean.. Was woken up at 7 am by tweaker upstairs pacing back and forth yelling a constant stream of "DAMN alright god DAMN" ... also, the carpets were green not red so that is just false advertising.
Not appealing, from the time you drive up, check-in, and actual condition of room. Very low next little water pressure. Light above sink would work sometimes, sheets on one of the beds had mold on them, head board was coming off wall, awoke to local police visiting motel twice. Bathroom not vented. Ants in bathroom.
Location. Close to University. Allows pets.
This really is the last resort in Boone. But it's not a "resort!" Place is falling apart, dirty and didn't provide me with good sleep. People screaming in the middle of the night. Police action. Felt like we were in an episode of "Breaking Bad"
As a last minute hotel, it was fine. We only stayed 1 night. It was clean enough.
The faucet in our bathroom didn't work, so we had to brush our teeth in the shower.
Location was good. Some rooms are very close to a major roadway. There any many restaurants close by, some in walking distance.
The first room we were given, the smell was so bad that we weren't even able to walk in. We had the hatch open to our van and our grandchildren were complaining of the smell coming in the vehicle. They did give us another room. The next room smelled better but this is a very run down place. There were holes in the bedding, mattresses and pillows extremely old, (we had wen't and bought pillows) no hot water in one of the sinks, broken glass on microwave door, broken tp holder, carpet in bad condition, heater and ac covers fell of if you got to close, paneling on wall cracked.
Roaches! ! Run down and seedy. Would never, ever consider staying there again!
the location was great and it was clean and comfortable
there was nothing not to like
Torn up bathroom lining, spiders all in the bath tub. Room was not bad just outdated
We were able to bring our dog with us. The front desk employee was helpful in giving us directions to places we needed to go. Bed was comfortable.
Water in shower not hot enough. Voices and traffic noises audible from outside.
everything about it minus location
Find something else.... anything else. Here are a few highlights... it was extremely dirty, stained sheets and shower curtain, tiled areas had dirty grout, tube type TV probably 20 years old, internet never worked at all, hole in the wall, poor water pressure with rust in the water. I would have paid anything to go somewhere else, but there was an ASU game in town so we had to stay, but my wife and I even talked about driving two hours home in the middle of the night.
Dirty, broken down, far too expensive for such a flophouse, nothing worked, broken furniture, bugs all over, filthy sheets and pillow cases. Couldn't wait to leave.
Gave us another room after we experienced smoking smell in a non-smoking room...staff was cordial and helpful with TV problems
Free Wi-Fi cut off around 11 or 11:30pm for some reason...very poor kitchen appliances...bedspreads had holes in them...window A/C units were noisy and had broken or missing vents...dirty and trashy behind the dresser...must have been an earthquake in the parking lot recently, as there was broken and raised pavement in the middle of it
Older motel need updating but for the price about what I was expecting.
Sheets were worn with a little hole in it .Needed new sheets
There was no cold water in the sink.
It had three beds for three traveling motorcyclists. That's about it.
Old, rundown, migrant workers living there, stains on carpets, smoky smell in room, etc.
Short distance to everything I could need as well as the attractions my family and I went to see.
For the price per night, you would think the wifi would not be so expensice to use. Only part of the wifi that was free were the first 5 minutes and you had to pay for additional usage.
Parking lot was in terrible shape!!!! I give this motel a failing grade!!!! Oh poor lighting in room also!!
