I left

It was terrible. Filthy, cigarette burns, stains on the walls, black marks on the bed spread, hair in the bathroom

There was no outlet in the bathroom. We had a lamp on a table between the beds and there was no outlet to plug it into. No coffee maker. Towels were like sand paper. Had to unplug microwave so I could use my blow dryer.

It was right off freeway rt86 and getting back to freeway was fast everything in town was right there.

price was right

The only good thing was the lady who took care of the desk when we arrived. We chose to leave and stay at another hotel rather than stay at this horrible place.

1. Location--very isolated, scary because it's so far from the stores and restaurants. 2. Unappealing exterior--the grounds are not appealing, the exterior of the buildings look shabby, the pavement is very bumpy, poorly lit, and almost dangerous, poor signage. 3. Horrible interiors--the curtains did not close, the locks did not work, the toilet in the room did not work well, the bedding looked dirty and unappealing. 4. All in all, we were so disgusted that we could not stay there. We felt sorry for the lady at the desk, and told her we could not stay because of a family emergency but really, we would have rather stayed with the Addams Family than stay in that place. It looked like a place people go to when they want to get murdered in their beds. I'd love a refund!!!

worst hotel ever mold all over ceiling and in tub ripped matress and boxspring curtains falling off the wall dirty smelly and the bed had very old blankets on and when I asked for another pillow they said they had no more I will never ever stay there agin worst night of my life ever

As one who has traveled for business and leisure purposes for nearly 50 years, I would rate this as a tie for one other property at which I stayed over 20 years ago as the worst hotel experience I have had. Upon entering the facility, the front desk attendant was off to a small lobby opposite the front desk watching a football game. He had no record of my booking.com reservation. (Would you believe, they still have a fax machine!) It was about 1:30 p.m. and the room was not yet available;we merely wanted to put our bags in our room so we could drive to the site we wanted to visit. In the room itself--I would be charitable if I used the word "tattered" to describe its contents--the toilet seat had chipped paint and looked as if someone had had an accident on it. And the bowed pole-rack upon which we were supposed to hang clothing broke off the wall and fell when I hung two items on it. Upon checking out, there was no one at the front desk for about a minute when I tried to leave me room key. Never again.

The dinginess of the furniture the bed was uncomfortable the breakfast was almost non existant.

Inexpensive, convenient to highway, and really nothing else at all.

Carpet obviously not vacuumed. Used tissue in desk drawer, empty tissue box in bathroom. Dried pizza sauce on cover of Gideon Bible. Heater filthy and clogged with dust, could not maintain even temperature. Exactly one accessible outlet in entire room, on light fixture above bathroom mirror. Burned-out light by bed. Double bed seemed several inches shorter than average, very uncomfortable mattress, hard cardboard- y surface but saggy in the middle, worst hotel bed I've ever had. Hair on bedspread and blankets, although sheets were clean. Thin, flat pillows. Security chain on door is a joke. No forgotten toiletries at front desk (toothpaste etc); Kmart is half a mile away but only open 9- 9. No alarm clock. So-called "continental breakfast" consisted of a case of Sam's Club / Costco packaged blueberry muffins and a single thermos of coffee. Front desk could not recommend local restaurant for breakfast, only national chains. Overall, most emphatically not recommended

- Well located on the road from NYC to Niagara Falls or the Finger lakes - Room is very basic but has all you can need for a night on a road trip

- Needs updating

The price was reasonable. This is a very old motel. The rooms have not been updated in years. The first room we received, the bathroom ceiling looked like it was going to cave in. The second room was better. The beds and bathroom were clean. The windows were dirty, the blinds were dirty and there were some cobwebs. You get what you pay for. To take a shower and get some sleep, it was fine. We were not there long.

Everything! I left in the middle of the night because of all the "noise" from other rooms. It was so dirty that I brought in a sleeping bag from my car rather than use the bedding. Though the shower itself appeared clean, the water pressure was so low using it was impossible. I would highly reccommend not staying there!

The only good thing was the price.

Even though I didn't expect much because of the price, it was still disappointing. The rooms are very dated, not well cleaned, and have a bad smell. I will never stay here again.

This location is severely dated and in need of significant updates (1970's vintage). Cleanliness such as the appearance of old carpets and the bathroom were visibly concerning even at this price point. Our second night in Horseheads we actually moved to another hotel at twice the cost just to ensure we received a clean room. We would not stay at this location again and I could not reccomend this Red Carpet Inn location to anyone.

Hotel was ok for the price. Facility was very worn, but it was quiet and the price was right.

Really needs updating.
