Man who met us
Pleasant and strategic place to stay and to travel to New York
Courtous staff, good facility, good internet facilities
Far from downtown New York
Easy to get to the subway train to NYC, clean room, free pastries at breakfast
The shower head was wonderful and the towels are fairly new.
Not enough parking, hard to get to, carpets are dirty. The staff not friendly.
The motel has good parking space.
Breakfast place is very small.
- Clean and Tidy. - No fuss breakfast. - Helpful staff
The following are not dislikes, but notes for fellow travellers. - If you don't have a car, better to take a taxi, it is not expensive. But it is not a easy walk with luggage. - It is possible to take a bus or/and metro to NYC, the hotel staff will be able to give you directions.
Came in late so finding parking was difficult
great rooms, even though on the smaller side. location was good, close to a shuttle bus friendly staff, willing to help
room door had seen better days
The location was perfect for our trip.
Our room in front was quite noisy from the traffic.
good breakfast close to the NYC bus
no restaurants close by
I LOVE THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOM..THE SPACE...THE STAFF WAS VERY GOOD TO ME.
wifi was perfect. sort of close to journal square for train to the city. breakfast was ok, coz they had cheese as well. not many places have cheese.
the room smelled bad. couldnt find why. either carpet, curtain or the ac filter needs to be replaced or all of them. the cleaning ladies did not clean the room properly. just made the beds and changes towels and soaps in the bathroom.
Great location. You can get Gate 51 to NY, just 20 min, but you have to walk to Manhattan Ave to get a bus. Room was clean and tidy. Can't except more. Reasonable value for money. Staff was friendly. Very calm and quit hotel and the area too.
No water etc at the rooms. You have to get it from the front-desk area. If you land in NY, be careful to get a taxy to this hotel as the hotel located in NJ, there is a huge tax applies on taxy. We were very disappointing to pay $60 for 2.5 miles from NY. Breakfast is very basic. Nothing fancy. Area may not be very safe, so mind your own business.
- we stayed in this hotel, because we had a car and wanted to park for free within good distance to manhattan - price - free on-site parking - free breakfast (basic) - quite big rooms
- distance from PATH station (15 min walk) - small breakfast area - 2 tables (only 8 people can eat at the same time)
there is bug in the bed. i should put the pic that show the bug.
Staffs were helpful and kind when I faced emergency incident before being hospitalized in Jersey City. Manager-in-charge was kind enough to let my sister retrieve travel belongings I left behind on the day I was scheduled to check out but I was intubated in hospital's ICU instead.
None. I never asked if the hotel has an elevater.
A/C didn't work. Location scary area
Nearby road, huge noice make me week up at 3:00 am. Can not sleep again. Chang another room at second day, but the wifi can not connected.
Just a few miles from the Jersey launch point for Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty. Bathroom was nice and clean.
Staff was hard to communicate with due to (India) language barrier and there is absolutely no decent food nearby. Bed was as hard as a rock too!!
value for money. nice place to stay for a few days in NJ
Everything else works great. The staff are not rude for whatsoever reason in comparison to my other experience at an inn in San Antonio, TX. If you're a light sleeper, ask them to have you at the back side if possible.
Carpet flooring. No matter how clean the room was, the dirts in the carpet just don't compliment with it.
Housekeeping staff were very lovely.
The card to the door didn't work consistently and when complained about, we were tried rather rudely by the manager.
We were able to park before it was time to check in and, the gentleman at the front desk guided us to the bus to NYC. Breakfast was well stocked and room was very comfortable.
Smelled like urine outside our door
Very Friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay with qietness in the whole building
