Brett was wonderful. He was helpful and when we needed something he stepped right in to help. He is an excellent example of what "service"means.
I was traveling with my family and 6 year old child. When I pulled up I instantly started searching other hotels before I even saw the room. Ended up staying since I already booked two nights and there were no hotels available since it was during Mardi Gras which I did not know at the time. The staff was friendly I asked for a bottom room and they compensated my request. The hotel looks as if it has 20 rooms tops it is also an RV park in the parking lot. It says it's only 8 minutes from the French Quarter but it's more like 15-20. When I walked into the room I instantly said, "What in the world." The rooms need to be updated they had palm trees painted on the walls clouds on the ceiling it looked like a daycare. The bathroom vanity light did not work so I could not see myself getting ready to leave the room. Out of date televisions. Covers were old and tore with stains. The only good thing I liked was the parking lot and hotel had a privacy gate where you could only get in with your room key and the staff. They also charged me additional money for one person I did not claim on the booking. You get what you pay for.
Nothing other than the lobby
Broken toilet, mildew under it , no roll holder, hard bed with cheap sheets.
Drafty room, smelly decor, loud tenents, no security, ice machine broken, no sheets on bed, ironing board no iron, nasty bathroom
Nothing... it was close to my destination...thats the only thing good about this hotel
What i didnt like was that way before ur time to check out they it felt they hurry u by reminding u 3 diffrent ocations
They put a neon light in d room there for u can see the clean sheets n all
No internet access in the room. 20 dollars charge for Early check-in. No restaurants in the area. Carpet very dirty. Air condition-heater very noisy.
Beds comfortable, room size good.
The shower was filthy, microwave didn't work, fridge had an awful smell. Some of the lights didn't work. The room smelled horrible. The guy at the desk was very strange, he was always walking around at night. The breakfast was horrible!!! And the location was okay though it was very close to a very ghetto store. The gate locked at nine and after nine you couldn't have visitors. Room keys never worked.
Liked that they came into room and cleaned daily
The employees were rude; the manager was even worse.
Its says wifi available in fact the signal is not stron enough to get to the rooms so you have to walk to the lobby to get signal.
Location is great
bad part of town
The rooms were nice
carpet needs cleaning.
room 105 was unique.
Being in a particular room
The pet fee. Seems ridiculous that in a place that smells so awful when you walk in the door with stained and burned carpets would care much about a pet fee. When I first entered the room I had to leave quickly because the smell covered with a strong perfume making it worse made me gag and eventually cough so much I vomited. I have only in my life ever seen one motel worse than this one. Dangerous area. I would avoid this place.
The person at desk was friendly and helpful.
Fridge and microwave cart was broken and leaning, door rattled, air conditioner didn't even work...AT ALL. I used to be a correctional officer so forgive me when I say this but the pillows were plastic jailhouse pillows. The bed sunk in in the middle and could feel the springs all night. The sheets felt like cardboard.
The walls were painted nice
It was not as clean as I would have liked, but it was adequate. Spent little time there, so was a good place to crash at the end of the day.
Staff were kind and helpful.
Very friendly Staff
Everything. Lights in bathroom did not work. TV did not work. Bed was lumpy and noisy. We walked in looked around and was out of there in 10 minutes.
Very weak wifi, poor breakfast.
Big and clean rooms
While somewhat dated the room was spacious and comfortable. Especially liked the ceiling painted like the sky.
carpet was dirty in the room very bad breakfast light didnt work when turn on very bad lightin in bath room
room could have been cheaper
The bed pillows were horrendous.
I liked the fact that there was a locked gate. I felt safe leaving my car.
The room was a good size, but the bed was bad.
The only thing I will say is the location was good for what I needed
I dont like room 208
