There was a large crack under the door that would allow bugs to crawl so we placed a towel over it.
It had a security fence and gate on the property.
I didnt like tht the AC only came on for about a minute, then would go off for about 10... I like to keep my room cool, and at its max setting, the room was a bit warm for my tastes. It would at least be nice for the fan of the AC to stay on even thought the compressor turns off.
Clean, well maintained, although not a great section of town, it did have a security gate for entry, so that made me feel more safe
No WiFi , the toilet leaked , and the location .
The cleanliness of the room, the comfortable king size bed . And the friendliness of the staff.
The roof in the bathroom leaked. And some of the accessories did not work or handily available.
I did enjoy the setup of the room and the sauna tub
The front desk clerk was Very rude. The room smelled like old trash and cigarettes even though the room was non smoking .The bedding was filthy and the bed was extremely uncomfortable . The air conditioner was broken. The bathroom shower barely worked. It was black mold on the side of the bathtub and the shower curtain. You had to use your room key to get ice from the ice machine. The continental breakfast look like it had been sitting in the lobby for God knows how long. It is in a bad location. THE Ghetto. The pictures on the website was misleading.
Nothing.....It was very disappointing. I wouldn't advise ANYONE to stay here.
No hot water very low water pressure The security was lax gate was never closed.Carpet was dirty. Non smoking room but bed spread had burns in it.
The location can take you out of your comfort zone. You need to take a bus to go downtown (about 30 min). The motel is a bit run down.
The room was furnished better than more expensive hotels that we had on our trip. The place was quiet, safe and with a helpful staff. Good home-cooked food in a little store nearby.
The water issues of no hot water and poor pressure needs to be addressed. Booking.com should remove the hotel from being listed until the problem is fixed. My son and I never felt clean after showers and the bathtub was dangerous. Very slippery. Bought stick on traction pads at Walmart to keep our footing while showering.
The room was okay but the bathroom was poor. The staff all around were pleasant and helpful.
It was in the ghetto! The manager was rude and does not listen well! The bathrooms always smelled like urine after it was cleaned. Smoking burns on the toilet! The breakfast sucked! You only get cereal and coffee. You get what you paid for. I wouldn't stay here again but it was okay for the price
The beds were ok and the hotel is gated. Front office closes it at a certain time at night
All electrical items didn't work - no iron - daily cleaned but looked dirty/worn out- bad linen and blankets with cigarettes burns holes - some lights didn't work - Wi-fi didn't work in the room - no amenities around except the gas station store (expensive and tired looking without much to offer) - bad and unsafe area East of NO - b/fast to be missed - Scarce and inconvenient public transport - room keys often didn't work - needs refurbishment - no information whatsoever on arrival - Charged my card without authorization ... wouldn't go back.
Brett was wonderful. He was helpful and when we needed something he stepped right in to help. He is an excellent example of what "service"means.
I was traveling with my family and 6 year old child. When I pulled up I instantly started searching other hotels before I even saw the room. Ended up staying since I already booked two nights and there were no hotels available since it was during Mardi Gras which I did not know at the time. The staff was friendly I asked for a bottom room and they compensated my request. The hotel looks as if it has 20 rooms tops it is also an RV park in the parking lot. It says it's only 8 minutes from the French Quarter but it's more like 15-20. When I walked into the room I instantly said, "What in the world." The rooms need to be updated they had palm trees painted on the walls clouds on the ceiling it looked like a daycare. The bathroom vanity light did not work so I could not see myself getting ready to leave the room. Out of date televisions. Covers were old and tore with stains. The only good thing I liked was the parking lot and hotel had a privacy gate where you could only get in with your room key and the staff. They also charged me additional money for one person I did not claim on the booking. You get what you pay for.
Nothing other than the lobby
Broken toilet, mildew under it , no roll holder, hard bed with cheap sheets.
Drafty room, smelly decor, loud tenents, no security, ice machine broken, no sheets on bed, ironing board no iron, nasty bathroom
Nothing... it was close to my destination...thats the only thing good about this hotel
What i didnt like was that way before ur time to check out they it felt they hurry u by reminding u 3 diffrent ocations
They put a neon light in d room there for u can see the clean sheets n all
No internet access in the room. 20 dollars charge for Early check-in. No restaurants in the area. Carpet very dirty. Air condition-heater very noisy.
Beds comfortable, room size good.
The shower was filthy, microwave didn't work, fridge had an awful smell. Some of the lights didn't work. The room smelled horrible. The guy at the desk was very strange, he was always walking around at night. The breakfast was horrible!!! And the location was okay though it was very close to a very ghetto store. The gate locked at nine and after nine you couldn't have visitors. Room keys never worked.
Liked that they came into room and cleaned daily
The employees were rude; the manager was even worse.
Its says wifi available in fact the signal is not stron enough to get to the rooms so you have to walk to the lobby to get signal.
Location is great
bad part of town
The rooms were nice
carpet needs cleaning.
room 105 was unique.
Being in a particular room
The pet fee. Seems ridiculous that in a place that smells so awful when you walk in the door with stained and burned carpets would care much about a pet fee. When I first entered the room I had to leave quickly because the smell covered with a strong perfume making it worse made me gag and eventually cough so much I vomited. I have only in my life ever seen one motel worse than this one. Dangerous area. I would avoid this place.
The person at desk was friendly and helpful.
