the position to get SUNY is excellent. cheep, good bed and bathroom, and normal cleaning of room. It's right for the price.
Cleaning of hotel is bad, bad smell.
I did not like anything at all.
the smells were horrible the linens did not clean, and the room was so cold.
Price, location, quiet, cable
Cigarette smell even slightly in my non smoking room. Would have liked a microwave.
Bedding was clean
Room was freezing. Elevator was shaky and appeared unstable. Tub collected water while showering. TV had poor reception. Entire facility needs paint and cleaning.
The manager ... the noise and inconvience
Liked the room, wi-fi, comfortable room furnishing
Location was near site I was visting
Hotel was advertised as having breakfast and in room fridges. None were present. Hotel is in need of remodeling. Still shocked they allow smoking in hotel that permeates the halls. Would not stay there again.
The price was fair
The wifi was poor but the staff helped by changing my room to an area where the wifi was slightly better
The only positive thing I can say is that it was right across the street from where I was going for two days
The second I walked in I smelt cigarettes, noticed the poor upkeep in the building and felt very uncomfortable. My first room I was assigned to had me in a room with 2 double beds. My email confirmation said one king-NON-SMOKING. After telling the man at the front desk I was unhappy with that, he put me in a king room that said high-ranking but the second I walked into the room, I was disgusted and had to hold me breath because of the pungent cigarette smoke. Clearly the sign on the door handle was wrong about smoking. The third attempt to get into a room that wasn't filled with smoke worked however the room still had a light residue of smoke and did not seem to be very clean. Hair in the shower, hair in the bed(discovered as I pulled the sheets back to go to sleep) and just overall dirty. I did try to call other hotels to stay in that night but all were booked and I had a very early morning. I would not have stayed a second night except again, all the hotels near by were booked or only had suites available for $200 a night. I will never stay in a red carpet hotel again and have strongly discouraged friends who are visiting the area soon to ignore the low price and stay somewhere cleaner.
Did not get a chance to check out everything I was out of there by 1030am
Did not stay long enough
This was the most affordable room in an over-priced area.
The hotel looked like a converted college dormitory that had seen better days. The wi-fi in the room did not work, though I was able to get a connection in the lobby.
A good location across from the Hilton. The price was good but then you get what you pay for.
Plainliry a dump! Firstiyou get put off mpressions are important and one can get put off when a scruffily dressed person shows up. The paint on the walls are peeling. The carpet has seen better days.Coffee machine as promised was not in the room. Obviously it is a halt for college students from the U across the street who would not mind discommoded for a affordable price.
When we checked out
Sheets with holes cigarette burns, tv was snowy, remote didn't work, air conditioner didn't work, shower water would not go down drain, no soap, carpets disgusting holes stains, just to name a few things. Horrible! !!!!
Had locks and beds
Condition of building, security, no airport shuttle, beds were awful
the location, staff was prompt with keeping the room kept.
Never received a refund for not staying an extra night. Furniture was out dated. Ice machine not working.
Bed was fairly comfortable. Bathroom was very small but OK.
Hotel facade looked like a building you would go to take a civil service exam. I am guessing this charmless facility originated as a government office building. While I was not disturbed by voices, I could hear the hallway and room doors slam all night long. Peeling paint and broken knobs throughout the interior. Very dim lighting in the room. Filthy windows. Floor carpeting on the walls of the elevator...creepy!
Cockroaches and mold
bed was comfortable.
no blankets on the bed. hotel was old. bathrooms was run-down. needs to be renovated.
Location was convenient. It was ok for a guest to crash for a few hours of sleep and a shower.
The hallway to the non smoking floor smell like cigarette smoke. Requested for a quite area, a few doors down the guest would slam the door many times during the evening & night hours. Then, there was plenty of loud conversations. What Wi-Fi........
The Late night/Sunday morning manager. Very Nice person. To bad he has to work at that dump. Only reason I stayed after getting there, is because every other hotel in the area was booked up. Next time I'll sleep in my car. I asked about discounts, since I was there on government business. No government rate, I received a $5.00 AAA discount. They offered me some kind of welfare/medicaid discount. You people who run this place, really need to check yourselfs. I could smell urine in the stairways.
For what I got for my money, I should be given a full refund. I will be in the area every weekend for the next 6 months with about 20 colleges, I will make sure NO ONE stays at your Hotel.
Very large rooms, included a refrigerator and microwave
No hair dryers available!
Liked that I had a big room with a microwave and fridge.
Didn't like that there was no headboard and all you saw was wood and nails. Need better ventilation and updated bathroom.
Staff nice - good location for our purposes - very reasonable price.
Older building - but seemed to be well maintained.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Nasty, disgusting. You will throw up staying here. Half the lights did not work, toilet seat broken, painted tiles in bathroom that were peeling; windows so dirty you could not see out of them; ripped, torn moldy carpets; sheets and towels stained; the pictures on this website are NOTHING of what the nasty place looks like. Took them 1.5 hrs to fix a damn battery in the smoke detector as it was chirping. Oh gawd...feel my skin crawl thinking about the place.
